The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift was finally launched in India today at a starting price of Rs 6.49 lacs, whereas the top-end AGS version costs Rs 9.64 lacs. At this price, it is only Rs 20,000 cheaper than Baleno. But mind you, the Baleno is available with discounts of up to Rs 38,000, thus making the Nexa hatch a better buy. What's impressive though is the fact that the Swift 2024 gets several safety features as standard including 6 airbags, ABS, Hill-hold assist, 3-point seatbelts (with reminder) among others.
