Thank you very much for your thorough
explanation on the resonance sound of the strings when played in Aures digital mode.
    I think It's a breakthrough and a
very important point for better improved digital piano sound !

With duplex scaling and extended keys, is the K500’s action as quick as grand pianos’?

The duplex scaling only really affects the sound in the treble section, making it more colourful. Even though the K500 does have a particularly responsive and fast keyboard action for an upright piano, most grands - especially those above entry-level - would have a quicker action when it comes to things like repetition, for example, just because they use a horizontal action with even longer keys.

Can I use my own bluetooth headphones with this piano?

My understanding is that bluetooth audio carries with it a delay in sound output

Indeed you are right! I ended up buying a Yamaha U1 with the silent feature, and certainly when I plugged in an aftermarket USB bluetooth adapter, the audio had a sound output delay that made it impossible to play the piano and listen via bluetooth headphones.

How do you connect the headphones?

There are two headphone ports underneath the control panel (which is under the keyboard).

Fabulous review and playing I really like the piano sound and good future actually I am planning to buy a K300 AERUS but now I feel K500-A is a much better option. I have small question regarding the keys action. What is the exact keys weight in grams because I need weight around 48 to 50 grams. I prefer little heavy keys as I am learning a western classical music. It would be great if you can reply. Thank you so much 😊

Middle C of the Kawai K500 is weighted at 60g +/-10%: due to the organic parts of a piano they will have slight differences in weighting, but this should give you a good idea. Thanks for your comment!
