According to the announcement from the authorities in Guangdong Province, the entire province entered the 2024 flood season starting from April 4th. Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and hail hit the central and northern parts of Guangdong, causing widespread flooding, sweeping away vehicles, and collapsing bridges and structures.
