Your production quality is superb, really happy to see you reviewing again. If there's anything I'd recommend to you it's getting a better mic. Keep it up, man! You're doing great!
@@titan133760shows how long we have to wait for kits! There’s people losing hope over a PG Zaku II Unleashed. Considering how PG-U is such a “breakout grade” that’s more of a spectacle and much more expensive, Bandai isn’t afraid to let those kits take a nice long hiatus. If you’re hoping for a kit, don’t lose hope! There may be something waiting in the wings after all…
I personally think the proportions look perfect. Overall a 10/10 kit for me. Only downside is the sticker decals, should have just made everything dry transfer.
One feature you didn't mention is that this kit is compatible with the Ballute System from the 2005 MG and comes with its own attachment parts. (To be fair, this is one of your older reviews so there's always something you're gonna miss back then)
Have they changed the nub placement? On the wrists I don’t have the nubmark you have, and on the beamsaber it’s only at the bottom and around the emitter.
I cut them out, held them in place with some tape, then just used my nail to transfer the decal. I didn’t want to use a coin or something to transfer them in case it slipped and scratched the gold coating. Thanks for asking!
I'm actually 100% with you! With 80's suit's I tend to prefer the weird, blocky proportions of early Master Grades. I hope to review the '1.0' eventually to make this point!
@@redheadphones6 in accuracy I agree But in my collection full of the modern slender kits i prefer the 2.0 look lol. Makes it stand out less when its sharing shelf space with Barbatos and Kyrios
I got this for 7 dollars from a amazon returns shop ( no box and the sprues were spread all over the place in a bin table but it does have teh instructions in Japanese) . I'm seeing if I got all the parts.
I know this comment is a year old but maybe someone else is wondering the same thing so I'll answer. DO NOT top coat this kit. You have a good chance of ruining the finish and the top coat actually scratches easier and is more noticeable than the regular parts by themselves. Just don't take any knives to it and you should be good. There's a video on youtube of a guy top coating his kit then and showing what it looks like and comparisons between things.
You're not wrong, lol. There's a lot wrong with these proportions, and it suffers a lot from the 'modernization' a lot of kits have to deal with. Part of me want's to take a look at the ver 1.0, just to see some more bulky proportions.
It's definitely not as tight as it could be given the interchangeable eyes, but I didn't have any serious issues. You might be able to use a little topcoat or cement in the connecting section in the head to make it more snug. Best of luck!
@@redheadphones6 Yeah that's what I figured, i noticed the two long pegs right under the head dont sit as snug and same with the headress...Building my first MG right this second
With a coated kit like this, there isn't a whole lot you can do. I personally just got the nub down as far as I could with just an exact-o blade rather than use sandpaper (which might mess up the surrounding gold). Then I used a gold paint marker over the nub to try and blend it in. I'm sure there are better ways of doing it, but that's the quickest and easiest for me. The only real way to get this kit looking perfect with no signs of nubs at all would be to buy one of the P-Bandai releases of this kit, which don't have the coating, de-nub it really well with sand paper and just apply the gold yourself.
im a bit late for this but ive seen a few people actually soak it in isopropyl alcohol to strip the coating and then just repaint the whole kit, definitely alot more work though

Some kind of glitch on youtube's part.

shoottheglitch berserker!!
I disagree, the bad mic good enough i dont care.
The “Scanning eyes” are actually the mobile suit’s eye cameras turning on
Honestly, I want Zeta 3.0 lol
We'll probably get a ver.ka instead :p
@@kaiserstorm886 And you're spot on. We're getting a Zeta Gundam Ver. Ka. in 2023

big yes on the comments on the dull gold, i love the look if it over the typical reflective gold. not a fan of that finish
Just got this kit and found your review! Looking forward to watch your other vids, this one was great!

Char: damn i need to stay undercover as Quattro and not pull a lot of attention towards me
Also char: Ayo give me some MS gold drip

Mannn ur scoring game is on point, i couldn't agree more. Amazing job. Keep it up man
Thanks!
I built this as my 2nd gundam and it was amazing to build
loved the review and it definitely convinced me to get this MG
5:20 Neat little L-Gaim homage.
It looks so good man
Finally got this coming in the mail 😎
Hyaku Shiki needs to be the next RG
I love this kit
Was thinking of buying this or the cheaper HG version for my char collection but you’ve sold me on it

Hey i was wondering what did you use to apply the dry decal? Thx

4:51 I think it's a design feature from Zeta to transform into the Wave Rider. Clever design nuance I think
Looks more like the movie version then the TV series. I know I'm crazy but I actually prefer the 1.0 proportions.

On mine, the fingers were like those of the zaku 2.0 I remember cutting them to separate them, are you sure you don't recall doing the same?

Great review, keep up the great work amigo
Thanks!
The bazooka is actually supposed to fit under his armpit. It holds it a lot better then over the shoulder
Great review! Thank you
i like your review, keep it up!
Thanks! I'm hoping to have another out in a week
in the show i never noticed how exposed its shins are, this may in fact be the first time i have seen that bit of design
Nice review bro. Keep it up!
Nc review. Next Mg seed reviews pls.😁
Would you recommend on topcoating this kit? If so, what finish? Im afraid to go for flat coat as i assumed it would ruin the sheen gold plated

you need a rick diaz mg red or black, are a good kit I have the red
I think the main problem about the proportion that i have is that the torso is a bit too tall

Did you have issues with the head not attaching very well?

It might just be your kit, mine snaps on pretty well.
What kind of reward was that in the description?
the best kind
How do you clean up the visible area nubs on the gold parts without scratching the rest of it?

Also do you recommend glue at all?
Considering most people say its really good and that it was released in 2015, im pretty sure they dont
have you reviewed the mg sazabi ver ka?
I wish lol. It's a little out of my price range right now. But I am thinking about picking up the MG Nu Gundam.
@@redheadphones6 will you review the nu or the Sazabi ver ka?
The bazooka looks way better posed under the arm Rick dom style.
The high grade has a curry like color
“Curry Shiki” -Builders Tv
Cockpit? How does it open
kinda sad the mega bazooka launcher is p-bandai
But it was obvious
the look deserves about 4.3/5
In hindsight, probably a 4.24/5
That bazooka Is actually meant to be held under the arm
Its fine
