    Angular momentum conservation(Iw=constant ,when Fext=0)!!!!!!after he pulled the lower string ,the distance of the adjoining parts from COM reduced i.e. MI decreased, thus angular velocity increased in order to conserve the momentum.

      When Net Torque = 0, Angular momentum is conserved, so when we decrease the radius, the Moment of Inertia increases thus the angular velocity decreases.

    "Conservation of angular momentum". It states that the total angular momentum of a rotating body is conserved in absence of torque(T=0). i.e., L=mvr=constant. Since the radius of the body decreased the linear velocity of the body increased.

    Angular Momentum of this system will remain conserve as we haven't applied any external torque. Since Iw= constant; radius of sphere gets decrease when we pull the rope and hence I reduce and w will increase.

    L = mvr
    For constant Angular Momentum (L) (means no torque is applied), tangential velocity (v) is inversely proportional to the radius (r).
    This is why you decreased the radius which led to an increase in tangential velocity.

    Angular momentum= mass× velocity× radius.
    So angular momentum is directly proportional to radius and radius is inversely proportional to velocity, which means if you decrease the radius ,velocity automatically increases because mass is constant here. He just decreased the radius of whatever this thing is by pulling the thread and speeding it up

    In the first Arrangement the masses are far away from it's axis of rotation, Compared to second arrangement Due to which the moment of inertia of the system is higher in first arrangement And less in second arrangement , As it is demonstrated in the video, he gave the angular velocity to the first arrangement and then shrink the volume of the first arrangement ( So that all the masses come closer and thus the distance from the rotation of axis decreases) so that the moment of inertia decreased therefore to conserve the angular momentum( Because there is no net external torque applied during the motion), omega increased

    In daily life situation: children in villages play with a thin thread one end tie a knot to index finger on left hand and the other end to the right index finger. the cap of bottles is holed at centre flatened and is placed at middle of thread(the thread passes through the hole) and the thread is rotated to 2-3 times a round and while they are rotating circularly the left hand is pulled to left direction and right hand to right then it rotates first enough(the speed is very fast it may cut a small pieces of plants) and won't stop until we stop pulling it 🙂

    P=m×Radius(r)×Angular Velocity(ω)
    P=mrω
    So, to conserve the momentum of the body, that is to keep it constant, ω will increase if r decreases.

    As we know that moment of inertia and angular speed depends upon the distribution of mass as we can see that, initially the mass was distributed far from the axis of rotation and when the distribution of mass comes near to the axis , the moment of inertia decreases and the angular speed increases this is the law of conservation of angular momentum❤

    During the initial rotation if we reduce the size of that object from the centre of the object the speed will be increase. Reducing the size of an object takes less energy to rotate and then rotate with increased speed. I think so.

    And M inerta=mass×radius square
    When the thread is pulled the radius of varius masses decreases from the axis around which it rotates and hence the moment of inertia decreases now the system has to increase the angular velocity to conserve the momentum and thats why its speed increases

    Angular momentum is equal to moment of inertia into angular velocity due conservation since the moment of inertia decreases angular velocity increases!!

    Since we pulled the thread the radius in which the mass was distributed decreased which ultimately decreased the moment of inertia (I) hence any external torque was not provided the angular momentum must be constant for that body so the angular velocity increases so as to keep the product (Iw) constant
