    Exactly, ganyan din ang kwento ng daughter ko & i love listening to her diff stories..since 'am a retiree here in Pinas, there's really a very BIG diff..she's an accountant & she started her work at Deloitte but after many years, she transferred to other private co..when we're there at Sydney, nkkinig ako sa mga mtg nya & of course..familiar terms & transactions ang usapan, as 'am also an accountant, but what really amazed me is calling her boss by his first name..ganun nga daw talaga dyan, cute nga eh hehe..wala lang nagulat lang ako..yes very particular sila sa Work Life Balance..mapapa "sana all.." nalang ako..thanks for sharing Jorge, your tita is really amazed with how employees work there..God bless..

    Wow you are very fortunate to work in Australia. Sanaol or I can experience that too. I agree with "working smart, not hard" which is lacking in Philippines office culture.

    Hi Jorge first of all thank you for making this video to shed light on what it's like to work here in the office in Australia, especially for those who just came to migrate from the Philippines. I must say Australia has changed over the years, I lived in this country for over 30+ years and I must say Australia is never the same, people here are working much longer hours now compared to how it was back in the early 90s and early 2000's, buying items here were much cheaper than how it is now, these days you can't even fill your shopping trolley for less than $300, the prices to buy items here in Australia have sky rocketed more than you can imagine, and YES there ARE LAZY Aussie people here more particularly in the office, people who pretend to work but they don't and they're more than happy to pass their work to other people more particularly for those who are in working visa's or for those who can't engage in, in depths English conversation, believe me I know.

      Salamat din po! 🫡 Nako naniniwala po ako sa inyo. May naexperience po ako na pailan ilan na ganyan haha but generally po majority po are ok nman. I worked on private and government setting so I faced them from time time 😀. Cost of living is hurting everyone but the salary and wages are not keeping up. Hope there will be some changes by the government for that.
      We’re really hardworking especially for those who wants to stay but based on my experience it’s all worth it if you come to the right place/company. Salamat po ng marami sa insight nyo din 🙏useful po!

    Hi sir george. Matagal na po kitang pinapanood kasi dream country ko po talaga is Australia at makapag work sa IT industry. Kasi IT po ako sa pinas but good thing po kahit napunta ako dito sa Dubai yung boss ko naman ay Australiano and IT po ako dito. pero still chasing my dream parin po. Ingat palagi sir george. Hi, spot on ang info mo for an office environment. Also, parang standard na dito ang open door policy kaya madaling mag communicate sa boss. May EEO policy din in place kaya minimized ang discrimination, bullying, etc.
    But sa experience ko so far, ibang iba.pag blue collar jobs. Medyo shock ako and really sad, respectful ang office workers but it is not always the case sa mga warehouse, factories, etc.

    • @pinausadventures

      Salamat po at napadaan kayo sa channel. Hahaha. Opo may mga nadidinig po akong story about blue collar workers. May pailan ilan po tlaga na minsan ndi maiiwasan. What’s important po is we stay with our good values and wag papadala sa knila as they are only small numbers.
      Uy napa search po ako ano ung EEO hahaha. Thank you po. Good uinsught! ✌️🙏ingat po palagi

    Hi, new PR here in Sydney. Napansin ko lang may mga aussies na di nakakaintindi ng american or neutral accent. tama po ba? or nasaktuhan lang haha. if tama po, dapat po ba mag adapt sa accent or at least pronunciation nila para mas effective communication or sure na nagkakaintindihan? haha thank you po sa helpful vlog na to as I am currently looking for a job :)

    • @pinausadventures
      @pinausadventures  3 месяца назад

      Hi po! That’s a very good observation. Though given there are pronounciation difference between American english (which we were used to) to Australian majority is naiintindihan nila. There are words difference as well. I think the adjustment is more on us if we are used to American english but that’s very minor. We can adjust, pinoy tayo eh. Just speak naturally, then in years natural na maaadapt din how they speak.
      Goodluck po sa inyo and Godbless! Welcome to Australia! Balitaan nyo kmi sa job search :)

      Hi, ok itong channel, very informative at positive ang dating.
      Advice sa mga bagong dating, mag familiarise sa Aussie slang at terminologies para maganda ang flow ng convo with locals. Manuod ng local shows, mga serye, news at talk shows para masanay sa accent at local terminologies. Multicultural naman tayo, acceptable na hindi perfect ang ating english.

    hello po sir PinAus! salamat po sa informational videos niyo.. ask ko lang po, ok lang po ba na thru Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) ang skills assessment ko jan, yun po kasi ang pinili ng agency para sakin dahil daw po doon nagfall ang profession ko na ICT customer support. based on my research po kasi most IT jobs should be assessed by ACS aus computer society. what are your thoughts sir? i currently work as Desktop Support Technician here in Qatar.

    • @pinausadventures
      @pinausadventures  2 месяца назад

      Hi po! Salamat po at nagawi kayo sa channel. Ung ACS po sir is nagapply lang po ako or nagsubmit for assessment when I’m applying for Permanent Resident na. I think the TRA is for the assessment for working visa. It could be new process po. But if legal naman po ung agency for sure naman po alam nila un. Ingat po palagi and Goodluck! 🙏
