Exactly, ganyan din ang kwento ng daughter ko & i love listening to her diff stories..since 'am a retiree here in Pinas, there's really a very BIG diff..she's an accountant & she started her work at Deloitte but after many years, she transferred to other private co..when we're there at Sydney, nkkinig ako sa mga mtg nya & of course..familiar terms & transactions ang usapan, as 'am also an accountant, but what really amazed me is calling her boss by his first name..ganun nga daw talaga dyan, cute nga eh hehe..wala lang nagulat lang ako..yes very particular sila sa Work Life Balance..mapapa "sana all.." nalang ako..thanks for sharing Jorge, your tita is really amazed with how employees work there..God bless..
Wow you are very fortunate to work in Australia. Sanaol or I can experience that too. I agree with "working smart, not hard" which is lacking in Philippines office culture.
Good luck and ingat po!
Hi Jorge first of all thank you for making this video to shed light on what it's like to work here in the office in Australia, especially for those who just came to migrate from the Philippines. I must say Australia has changed over the years, I lived in this country for over 30+ years and I must say Australia is never the same, people here are working much longer hours now compared to how it was back in the early 90s and early 2000's, buying items here were much cheaper than how it is now, these days you can't even fill your shopping trolley for less than $300, the prices to buy items here in Australia have sky rocketed more than you can imagine, and YES there ARE LAZY Aussie people here more particularly in the office, people who pretend to work but they don't and they're more than happy to pass their work to other people more particularly for those who are in working visa's or for those who can't engage in, in depths English conversation, believe me I know.
Salamat din po! 🫡 Nako naniniwala po ako sa inyo. May naexperience po ako na pailan ilan na ganyan haha but generally po majority po are ok nman. I worked on private and government setting so I faced them from time time 😀. Cost of living is hurting everyone but the salary and wages are not keeping up. Hope there will be some changes by the government for that. We’re really hardworking especially for those who wants to stay but based on my experience it’s all worth it if you come to the right place/company.
Hi sir george. Matagal na po kitang pinapanood kasi dream country ko po talaga is Australia at makapag work sa IT industry. Kasi IT po ako sa pinas but good thing po kahit napunta ako dito sa Dubai yung boss ko naman ay Australiano and IT po ako dito. pero still chasing my dream parin po. Ingat palagi sir george. God bless to you and to your family po.
Salamat po! Nako wag nang sir! Hahaha. Lagi pong may pathway naman for IT here sa Australia especially kung working visa especially kung niche skill po or even cyber, software eng, or even IT management. Atleast po pedeng stepping stone ung Dubai then if you want to move here sa Australia may experience na po abroad.
Looks like very hardworking. Yeah, unfortunately with all the cost of living pressure people sometimes need to do extended hours or sacrifice something. Unfortunate sometimes that’s time away from family to earn more. :(
Hi, spot on ang info mo for an office environment. But sa experience ko so far, ibang iba.pag blue collar jobs. Medyo shock ako and really sad, respectful ang office workers but it is not always the case sa mga warehouse, factories, etc.
Salamat po at napadaan kayo sa channel. Hahaha. Opo may mga nadidinig po akong story about blue collar workers. May pailan ilan po tlaga na minsan ndi maiiwasan. What’s important po is we stay with our good values and wag papadala sa knila as they are only small numbers. Thank you po. Good uinsught! ✌️🙏ingat po palagi
Hello! New subscriber here! Currently working as a Software Engineer in a "well-known" consulting firm here in the PH. I am quite surprised that the work culture in my current firm is almost the same with people there in Australia, except for the work-life balance of course. Haha! I am currently waiting for my PR visa offshore and stumbled upon your channel. Thanks for the video! Love it!
Hello CoIT pips, data engineer here in a well known bank here in ph. May i know how you apply in Australia? Im aggressively looking for a job related to my current job here in ph.
