very interesting. I really hope in future there could be more free trade and travel between Nigeria and Cameroon. The border should be open and reduced bureaucracy.
Exactly, that's the prayer
The border control should be removed. It is not necessary. The most annoying aspect is that the border separates families. Anyway when we visit families we don't use the border.
@caniceonuoha i think the border is just there because it has to be there to for boundaries.
I love this Video, watching from Austria
We the Crossriverians are the most hospitable & nicest people in Nigeria, we don't joke with our visitors. We treat our visitors with the heart of God.
Awwwww this is so sweet
Ohh my dear you break my heart ! I was waiting to see my village Bessongabang ,
wow I'm glad to see this new bridge
The last time i passed there we still used the old bridge.
Thanks for sharing. You guys are so brave to have traveled from Lagos to Ikom by road and most especially that night journey.
We thank God for journey mercies oh🙏
Hello Carol ,
Welcome back home safely.
Thank God for a safe trip.
Your vlogs were incredible,as always!
Stay Blessed my friend!
Sunday M
Thank you so much my friend.
Who told you that bushfallers don’t feel at home when they arrive in Cameroon from the west? We do 100%, yes the Douala airport is terrible and it is very hot but you still get that feeling. Home is still home.
No matter where you live out of the country, you will always have that feeling that you are not home and you will get reminded in western societies that you are a stranger. The police, public services and groups that don’t like foreigners will always try to make you feel that way from time.
So don’t get fooled, anyone who grown up in Cameroon will always have that feeling when they set foot in Cameroon.
I totally aree with you
Enjoying every bit of this vlog ❤.
Thank you🤗
Grace à toi, j'ai eu une vue partielle de Manfé. Ça doit être agréable à vivre malgré la crise.
You guys are strong! I can't travel anywhere by night in Nigeria. After 7pm, I don't leave the house or stay wherever I find myself. Also, noticed people are so trusting in Nigeria. I can't sleep in a stranger's house or welcome one in my house. Just saying..
I totally agree with you
Thank you so much on the reporting trip to cameroon. Very informative.
You are welcome and thank you too for watching.
So many transfers to get to buea🤦🏿♂️but sis y didn't u take this route instead of the boat?glad you're back home safe 🫂🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
By sea is faster and besides we didn't know how to go about this route.
Just stumbled across this video and i was so happy. A road i used to frequent last year from Douala to Abuja. I really wanted to document my experiences, but laziness got to me. This was an excellent narration. Thanks for this journey down memory lane.
Thank you🙏
My Manfe is my town. This Crisis has really affected mamfe
The most horrible thing that really affected mamfe was the burning down of the Sartum beach😢
That's so sad. God will help the people of Mamfe.
We just hope and pray the regime in Yaounde will change so we can have a leader who truly cares about Cameroonians from every corner to bring a solution to this crisis.
@andosehcampbel5701 Amen my sister🙏
Welcome back
Thank you
Thank you dear. I have learned a lot from your video and i think it will help me. I'm planning embarking on a journey to lagos as well by road. Ive never been there before. Your video has been very instructive. Thanks
I'm glad it helped you.🙏
Next time when going to cameroon from Nigeria or Cameron to Nigeria, the short road is when you reach Ikom take ogoja then eboyi state to Lagos is shorter, than going through calabar that's a long journey
Thank you very much for this.
There are buses that go to Lagos directly from Ikom she doesn’t need to go through ogoja or abakaliki.
@James_150 Thank you for this info
Wow that's good thank God for safe traveling back home
Indeed🙏
Wow, What a talent. The way your narratives flow and hold one spellbound is above ordinary. That made me to subscribe
Thank you so much.
Quite interesting. Gives me a feeling of nostalgia. Hope I will recognize my friends whenever I visit Cameroon.
Hopefully🙏
Nice to know the road is tarred. I know this place at kumba❤
Yeah the road is quite good, for the most part
If you are travelling from Lagos to Cameroun by road, try this
Lagos to Onitsha by bus
then Onitsha to Abakaliki (usually Sienna or small bus)
then Abakaliki to Ikom
finally Ikom to Ikok
you do not need to travel to Calabar again
Oh thank you so much for this option, had no idea about the route.
Yes but You can get direct bus from Lagos to Abakaliki passing through Onitsha and Enugu. No need to stop at Onitsha. It's the easiest and shortest route to Cameroon
@ValentineUgochukwu oh wow, i had no idea. Thank you so much for this.
@@ValentineUgochukwu true talk.
Abakaliki to Ikom is beau.
@@ValentineUgochukwu
when I used to travel on that road the only option was Lagos to Onitsha and then Onitsha to Abakaliki (there was no direct bus from Lagos to Abakaliki)
You are doing well. Amazing content 🔥
My very own person, thank you so much
Glad you got back home safely, bushi bushi😂
We thank God ohhhh for journey mercy.
God bless your hustle darling, you are a strong girl ❤❤❤
Amen and thank you so much.
Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thank you too for watching
Welcome back Carol
Thank you
Is ist safe to travel to travel the N8 to Buea ? I read a lot of bad stories about road blocks etc. Thanks for your info. I want to travel from Nigeria to Cameroon with my own car as a tourist from Europe.
Please by all means do not travel by night on that road. If you can avoid night journey please do. It is so not safe.
Mamfe is also a town in Ghana
Am among your latest subscribers

I'm not sure if you are a Cameroonian. Are you sure you are not a Nigerian ❤. I really enjoyed and appreciate your travel video. It's quite an adventure. I can't wait to visit Cameroon.
You are welcome to Cameroon already.🤗
I saw a beautiful Cameroonian while consulting.in the hospital. Immediately I knew she was from Cameroon, I became very nice to her. I pleased with her to teach me some french😂.

E.C, j'ai bien eu peur de la confusion de bagages tellement il y en avait et les tns n'étaient pas identifiables
Bless you❤❤❤
Thank you🙏
Wellcome home Bush faller
Limbe most of the auto spare parts dealers are Nigerians.
Hope you go to Nigeria again.
It’s like this place is in Bamenda province?
Many business dealers here not only in Limbe but in different markets are Nigerians.
@@elomocaroltv
Wow that’s so awesome.
I have subscribed to your channel.
@user-re9ph3pr4y thank you
Nigeria took good care of you ladies, now you see most of the negative propaganda about Nigeria is not always true.Cameroon and Nigeria are the same people more than any country in the world.😅Wishing you ladies success in your businesses.Cheers.❤
Thank you so much for that wish.
Truely Nigerians and Cameroonians are one. Nigerians just suffer from a negative stigma but in reality they are sweet humans.
Cameroonians don't need to come to Nigéria to know who Nigerians are. They grow up with Nigerians in Cameroon in almost every city. 5 million Nigerians living in Cameroon as of December 2020. Some of whom were born there from parents who ran away from the Nigerian civil war 1967-1970
@andosehcampbel5701 They are every where here. There is no city here that we don't have Nigerians living it. They have shops everywhere in the markets.
@@andosehcampbel5701exactly! But many people just prefer to listen to and believe bad press about Nigeria whereas they even have Nigerian friends and neighbours.
@@andosehcampbel5701 I am from Ikom the town bordering Cameroon on the Nigerian side and I must say Cameroonians on the other side of the border are literally Nigerians as they go by the same names many times and eat similar foods. My stay in Maryland, USA drew me closer to a lot of Cameroonians and one of my besties here is a Cameroonian.
So that means you can follow by road to cameroon in stead of pasinng true arron water.
Yes you can.
Ikom to Buea = 310 km. And you have to make 2 days. Wow! I di respect wouna!
I'm telling you.
2 days for just 310km journey??
In Nigeria you could do that in 5 or 6 hours!
The roads in Cameroon 🇨🇲 must be really deplorable
@charlesugochukwu9283 i think the driver also took a very long unnecessary route because he was trying to escape some controls.
Thank God for the safe trip to and fro Nigeria. I stay in Lagos and i would have loved to meet with you while you're here.
Meanwhile I have never traveled by road to Cross River state from Lagos. But i have been close to the border with cameroon at a village called Adjasso in crossriver state sometime in 2015.
Regarding your pidgin, it's quite similar to the variety spoken in cross river state especially around ikom, Boki, Obanliku, Obudu and Etung areas. Infact, your accents sounds very similar to what's spoken in these areas.
Anyways, thank you for coming to Nigeria and giving us this view of your life... I hope your experience to and from Nigeria will be better next time.
That's my prayer. I plan on returning to Nigeria soonest.
Concerning the accent, i noticed that as well because in Ikom i heard them calling pomo canda, which is how we call it in Cameroon. So i guess our accents are similer.
@@elomocaroltvPonmo is mostly used in Western Nigeria whereas in the East and South we also call it canda.
Oh this is interesting to know. I thought the entire Nigeria calls it ponmo
@@Chuwalker in the North, Ponmo is referred to as ganda especially among the natives and Hausas
@GPIduh oh really.
Very interesting ❤
Thank you🙏
she said she was just looking at everywhere strange after 2days outside Cameroon is funny tho 😂😂😂
😂
At the Ekork border, did they ask you for your international passport??
No just ID cards.
Welcome back my bush faller Nammy😂❤
Thank you so much nammy
Your videos are very enlightening
Thank you.
Point of correction please the Mamfe people don't relate with Akwa Ibom people but Cross River state people. Even in Calabar you started your journey from we speak same language i.e (Ejagham) and share same culture with the Mamfe people. In Calabar we speak Ejagham or Qua, Efik and Efut. Ejagham and Efut people migrated from the Central Africa. You would have done a little research about the people here in Nigeria before publishing the information. Most Cameroonian from this area you mentioned share same language, name with Calabar people, Ikom, Etung, Boki and Yala people all in Cross River state, Nigeria. We share same history but I'm not going to write on that coz it's a long history. Thank you
But the people you mentioned, especially Efik and Efut, are the same as Akwa Ibom. If you have been to Akwa Ibom, you will see what I'm telling you. So, the girl is not altogether wrong. We have the same history of migration. Let the others be, we know where we are from.
I will like to marry this lady lol. I'm in love ❤. She is super funny. I enjoy this video, and would like to visit Cameroon someday.
😂 you are welcome to Cameroon already.
@@elomocaroltv thank you ❤
Courage to you😅😅😅
9:40 Wow am surprisingly learning that Nigerians do not understang our Cameroonian Pidgin. 😳
Some do not
Nice narrative
🙏
12:00 Meals topped with a little bit of pride for balanced diet 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Is Limbe close to Douala? Do they speak French in Limbe?
Limbe is about 1hour 30mins drive from Douala. The principal language spoken in Limbe is English, however we do have some francophones living with us.
public speaking was made fR u👌. New subscriber here.
Thank you so much🙏
I guess you are selling the products in Cameroun. With what you spent on transportation and living expenses, are you still able to make financial gain?
Nigeria is really cheap to buy certain goods compared to Cameroon even after adding up all the expenses, you still make gain.
@@elomocaroltvYou're very correct.
I travelled between East Africa and west Africa.
Then I found that Nigeria is the cheapest among the 14 countries I visited in both East and West Africa.
I think due to devaluation of Nigeria currency.
@johnsonolajide4647 Or maybe because Nigeria has the capacity to produce so many things.
What kind of things do you sell
@angelanwaghodo1034 i am into cakes and pastries.
As all man just dey welcome you back. Make I join the queue for welcome you back as well.
😂😂😂 thank you my love.
Wuna ashia
Thank you so much
So momo services don’t work out of Cameroon??
No they don't
The state of the roads on the cameroonian side😂😂😂😂
😂
Feeling like a bush faller but you comot abroad
Who say we no understand una pidgin? Una get pidgin?
Ignorance na bad thing ooh😂
I still wonder why other Africans buy stuffs from us and take it to their various countries like computers, cloths, oil etc are things that cheap in Nigeria or what? Cos our people only buy stuffs or ship stuffs from Benin cause of the low import tariff and sneak it in by road 😂, omo
Tge exchange rate is advantageous
@@rxndommimie5378 I don't get, our currency had been floated and no longer pegged, so it has been devalued to like 1300 plus presently to a dollar
Yeah things are way cheaper in Nigeria compared to our country.
@@elomocaroltv omo, this thing dey baffle me 😭
Even before the exchange rate became this way, people were still buying their goods from Nigeria.
As soon as you enter Cameroon, road di start be one kind smh
😂😂😂😂😂 i don die.
You no serious😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Abeg chill for my CAMEROON people.
Save and stressful journey, well come back
Thank you so much
Sorry for the wahala ooo 😢
