From the moment you drive into their large and spacious carpark, you can’t help but be impressed by the scale and grandeur of The Farmhouse in Coventry.
When we attended during the evening, this place was in full swing of things, with plenty of chatter and interaction of a packed out venue creating an atmosphere that was buzzing.
We also arrived with knowledge of the fact that The Farmhouse had only this year, prior to the start of Ramadan, made the noble decision of substituting the selling of alcohol for non-alcoholic beverages.

I’m a very fussy eater generally, every dish I’ve had here smashes it out the park and has me craving it for the following weeks.

We've eaten at this place before. It wasn't bad, really good service tbh. Just the prices are ridiculously high. In no hurry to go back. I'd rather go Tipu Sultans.
Have you had the lamb shank?

The shank was presented hidden within the lamb curry, rather than “ON a bed of pilau rice” as the menu promised (the rice incidentally being poorly reheated), and came with a freshly-made and crispy tandoori coriander naan.
Now, all the above might have been forgiven had the curry been a tasty one. But, while the lamb was tender and fatty enough, the curry itself was ruined by the addition of so much garam masala that we were forced to order a side of yoghurt, such was its ferocity. In the end, our throats were left parched. To put it bluntly, one lion choked on it!
I found the opposite? I was suprised how cheap it was.
Atmosphere 5/5. How many times have we given that?

When I went in 2019 chips were soggy for the Bombay bad boy, but I went again last week, and they changed the layout and reduced the amount of sauce leaving them crisp
Great place for food atmosphere, service has always been very fast and waiters always pleasant along with the owner's. Once lockdown is over will definitely visit

Food looks good, place looks great but as we know it's all about the spices. Will visit still. Not sure about those HMC steaks.

The food really needs improving. The curries are poor

The food really needs ships is not crispy. The food was very cold
A lovely place to eat. You must have gone on a bad day... I've been there loads of times and their food is top quality.

They aren’t HMC approved why lie?
He did say, it's sourced from HMC suppliers, not HMC approved which is fair enough.
HMC is bullshit, my dad is a partner in a restaurant and all our suppliers are HMC certified, to be part of the HMC program its £250 a month, why pay that to a bullshit corporation to give you a little sticker to say your food is halal when you already know it is?

@@Jamil__Ahmed you’re paying for customer to have certainty that they’re eating halal as you know the controversy concerning HFA. So I guess HMC will attract more Muslim customers.

Over rated
Halal is england ? Would it not be better to cater for the country you are in ? I find that strange .
Before stunning became popular in the UK they always killed the animal via the juggler vain which ment the meat is Halal for Muslims. So really it's not an alien proceess as one thinks. Also Halal is scientifically more healthier then stunned which keeps the toxins in the animal along with the blood.
