Man I love toplane being role swapped and ranged bullied. It's so fair for these champions to somehow be less at risk than you, while dealing more damage than you.
They forgot why they buffed melee fighters up in the first place, because you auto lose top lane against ranged carries.
Learn Irelia, and you will autowin any ranged matchup imaginable

As a viego main, after the recent nerfs on SK and SS my core build now is kraken into trinity into deaths dance and i am returning as a 4th itsm the blade of the ruined king

The varus build is from Kerberos it's super strong he has another buidl thought with kraken guinsoo pd then tank/bruisr movespeed items
I been fuckin w/ dark harvest jhin w/ cheap shot rushing opportunity for the lethality it gives for such a cheap cost. Collector next and follow w/ infinity/other crit/AD items. It does struggle a bit tho if they have heavy healer support like soraka milio etc, but excels on double squishy or even squishy tank. Just shifts the priority target

Careful building profane on champs that can cast it during abilities, you'll get them nerfed like Kayn...

The Kalista build is turbo useless if the enemie has 1 tank or more. Cause u deal 0 dmg to them even with ldr

Not only shows new interesting grounded builds (this Varus top one remembers me of the build Kerberos, a challenger streamer, created recently) but also explains and teaches a little about some basic fundamentals (like "best to buy lethality early"). Amazing content!
Akshan with rush of oppurtunity? wont that weak into mid game. These builds are suggested like you get enough gold to build 3 item by 15 minute . Nah, by the times you get to kraken salyer to finally get some sort of attackspeed, it would be in time with either 3rd to 4th drake and game would be decided by the time you get 3rd time. Now shojin on shaco is a new and unique build which works. Rest are obvious

The builds come from past patches, but they're compiled for this one as nothing about them has really been touched

Not gonna lie, it was today when I learned how lethality actually worked and whats the difference between %-armor pen and lethality..
Lethality is just flat armor pen by another name, tbh they should change the name back because old lethality was a scaling stat before s12 or so

Y’all notice something with these kinds of videos? There hasn’t been an actual AD assassin build for an Assassin champ. Nothing but Tanks,Bruisers, Mages, AP Assassins, ADC’s and Supports. Yet you guys struggle and cry about AD assassins.

I can't see this shaco build anything but a troll build.
It is expensive to rush shojin for how little dmg it gives. You ruin your entire early game which is what matters on shaco.
You don't have hail of blades making your ganks weak.
You dont have jungle clear cause you don't have hydra or atack speed which helps to clear the solo camps quicker.
The items combined require you to play for late game which majority of the games don't even reach that point, in my shaco games most games tend to end before i even reach 3 items etheir because i had a really good early or because my champ became useless being a jungle diff, that's the nature of the champ.
To much cdr but no mp, how do you spam boxes for map control, shaco has one of the lowest mana pools.
If you want to experiment with a build try out cost efficient items, i am surprised that umbral glaive combined with opportunity isn't mentioned.
Umbral glaive gives 15 lethality, 15 haste and 50 ad. (Vision on wards, generates slightly gold due of clearing them, guarantees a better map control for an invader like shaco) Cost: 2600g
Opportunity gives 18 lethality, 55 ad and 5 ms. (5-10 add lethality as passive) Cost: 2700 g
I thought the same thing at first, but the build is legit. You don't need hydra or attack speed to have good clears. Maxing boxes first already makes you melt camps by default. The difference in ganking with or without hail of blades is noticeable, but it is not the end of the world, and going Shojin first allows you to play like AD Shaco early, as AP Shaco's is really weak.
Shojin is the item that increases your boxes damage the most despite being an AD item, and Shojin+Liandry scale really well together.
Is the build optimal? As far as AP builds go, this is as close as it gets. Is it even good? Haven't drawn conclusions yet, but I'm inclined to say so. Is it viable? Absolutely.

ok that varus build seems dogshit, any hard burst assassin will destroy varus now because he has no health. there is a reason why vayne and teemo are the only marksmen which work in top. vayne has invis and teemo has build. Just get darius or rengar top and this varus top is a free win. Varus top worked when he had a item which gave health,armor,mr and some sort of offense strength

Wait can’t you just complete varus items with d-dance and maw/wits? Defensive offense items all on varus. Then if you’re super confident in your early you can take conditioning + unflinching for super heavy resists 🫡
