Santiago/Aramis said that his horse kept trying to eat his coat pockets because it could smell the almonds he left in there once....the result of this was an uncontrollable horse, going round in circles and trying to look over it's shoulder for Aramis' almonds lol. At least he got it under control in the end!
As a Texas girl, I howled with laughter when they tried to gallop...couldn't tell if it was their technique or the horses...every episode was a joy to see...I think they need more time in the saddle...other than that it is a wonderful peoduction..
+Elvira Oh? I did not know that, but that definitely explains, why he is the best ridder of the lot :D I always have to cringe, when I see Luke ridding. His confidence is definitely not founded by his skills. Charles and Tom do alright for begginers.
+Kateřina Kučerová Santiago rode horses for BBC Merlin, where he played sir Lancelot. And having the confidence to ride a horse certainly helps, but anyone who rides horses can easily tell when actors aren't trained (enough) to ride a horse well. But riding isn't easy, and I'm already glad these guys at least got some (extra) lessons.
+skylark9098 Their horses are quite beautiful and apparently very experienced stunt horses. Tom and Luke are ridding Freisians. Charles is ridding regular warmblood. I believe its because he is taller than the other guys and warmbloods are taller horse breed. And Santiago was ridding stunning black Andalusian stallion in the first season in second he got also a Freisian. Dont know, why they made the change. Maybe the horse was engaged elsewhere. Pity. I love Andalusians, they are the most inteligent horse breed as of my experience.
Everything, literally everything, becomes more epic when you add Pirates of the Caribbean music.
I had a "that isn't... is it? It is pirates, isn't it? What?" scenario going on. Not what I expect in a bbc video.

Sorry but Santiago should be good at this XD
He was riding horses in Merlin XD
Sort of expected Jack Sparrow to show up x). Santiago has ridden horse before, I'm sure his riding lessons weren't much needed!

I noticed that they never really gallop in the scenes, or not enough fast from my point of view
