My nephew now flys for Southwest. He's a retired Coast Guard officer flying the C-130 Hercules. He said he sure made the right choice in choosing Southwest! Absolutely loves it!! Me too!...now I can fly for free!😀

One of my friends who lives in Point Loma said that if you count to 10 after the plane lifts off the runway and look out the left side window, you’ll see her house, lol!

Yes! Used to go to the top floor bar of the El Cortez for the city view and to see the planes approaching the airport. Those were the days...

Never used to like steep take offs as a kid but I sure love them as an adult! Would love to fly out of San Diego as the take offs look amazing!

It was good! Southwest usually has very good service. Even on this short flight they still did a beverage and snack service.
