The fact that other teams has to worry about caitlin clark is something else. As you should always think about the others on the field and that's why the colorado team lost they thought they were thinking about not going after clark but still do. Funny her teammates rarely miss layups on those trick passes. It's like a Zen moment, "I gotta catch this pass!" and then the rest is automatic. It almost takes emotion/thinking out of the equation.
Keeping your best player in while you are 20+ up in Q4 is just a very bad decision. Doesn’t matter if Caitlyn wanted to play, as the coach you should insist on keeping her on the bench.
You must not watch many Iowa games. Iowa was pretty stagnant this year when Caitlin was not involved in the offense, and also, teams did come back this year when Iowa took their foot off the gas (Nebraska, Ohio State). Coach Bluder coached well all tournament.
Caitlin deserved every second she played to make all of her records out of reach and not even close. She worked for that, and deserved it.
