11:05 Kate was a terrible neighbour blasting her tunes at nearly midnight bet she woke up someone’s kid. 11:22 Phil in the club while murder on the dance floor plays is unintentionally funny.
True, I think Terry Bates was the last real gangster, and despite Jase's death being a very good episode, Terry was bread and butter compared to the rest of them, as for that last bit, if Phil had killed Dennis, then i reckon Jack would've still gone after him like he planned to, and if that happened, then Jack might have still been on the show today using Walford as his own moneymaker.
If you're talking about phil and grant intercepting the drugs deal between Milligan and Frater, and Kim Brooks + his men, then they didn't pull out of that, Phil took them on pretty much single handedly.
Andy Hunter was Jack’s replacement, Andy became the head of The Firm after Jack died. Johnny, as far as I know, was never part of The Firm. It would have been interesting to see the two interact on screen.
@@benmullins7868Was Andy really Dalton's replacement? Thought he was more of a "stand in". He had power but not on the level of Johnny and people weren't intimidated by him. Johnny Allen was always taking liberties with him
This was such a great era for EastEnders. Anybody think Gavin Sullivan is a big connection to The Firm? He was friends with Den and it is pretty obvious he is a gangster of some sort. He's the only known villain from what I can remember that has had Phil kidnapped, beaten half to death and tortured by his hired "men".
Well that whole episode was edgy: you might be right about Phil and Grant wanting to pay off milligan and frater, but i thought it was to get them back for blowing up the arches, and the last bit is true :L, i think the episode is 14-10-1999, the gangsters were armed, so the only reason phil and grant managed to take them down is because they were already so angry about what had previously happened with kathy.
Jack Dalton was the boss of the firm, whereas Allen tended to operate on a smaller scale, he only had a few people working for him towards the end, Dalton would have Johnny Allen flattened without a second thought.
wait where kate and phil already divorced by then? because I thought they split when dirty den set him up for robbery and custody was handed to louise to lisa
When EastEnders was phenomenal 👍
Ooh that Jack Dalton...he’s scary. Even Phil is scared of him.
@david gallacher except Phil didn't it was Dennis that killed him
Phil would leather him
He is dealing with a bloke that has people killed
Random extra in the cafe: "I haven't finished my tea yet mate."
Phil: "Yes you have."
I'd demand a refund lol
Phil's the reason Alfie only had a slap and wasn't hospitalised.
Jack dalton plays his role excellent well suited.
It's 11.30pm, come on lads lets make a night of it, lets go down the caff for.....a cup of tea

Jack Dalton YEAHHHHH
Was Johnny Allen Jack Daltons replacement because they both seem like they were on similar levels both had power both had heavies surrounded by them ?

Jade Lowe Johnny Allen had his own empire. He had his own private mansion.
I always thought that Johnny was with the firm and whereas Dalton was the boss of Walford, Johnny was the boss of another area.
I always thought Johnny just replaced Jack ? I dont remember the Dalton era to be honest was a kid but remember the Johnny Allen era.
I wonder who runs it now
Shelley has aged, put on weight and turned very nasty. He’s still very lazy.
