@@deftone330 they only beat SDSU because they were missing over 30 players due to COVID protocol. If they were allowed to play Aztecs would've easily won. That was a 11-1 team with wins over Utah and Boise and only loss to Fresno. Would've swept the floor with USU if they weren't forced to play without half their team and almost all of their defense.

When Bronco Mendenhall had receivers that couldn’t catch a ball at BYU, he made them catch baseballs with no gloves from a pitching machine. They caught the balls after that. Maybe coach Andersen should do something similar. His receivers were directly responsible for a lot of Webers points.
True story: My homie played hockey for Weber state, well we drove down from Boise to watch him play. Long story short I ended up selling and smoking weed with Dame Lillard. Good times go Weber
Pretty sure it's been a long time since any Utah State player made it to the NBA. They all peaked in college. Weber had 4 at a time a while ago. Now three of them were not that great and they're all out of the league now but it's still showing how lopsided those programs actually are in terms of producing pro talent
The MWC has all kinds of problems and have had them for years. This used to be the most feared G5 conference and arguably the 3rd best conference in the sport. From 2002 to 2010 they won the most bowl games of any conference in the sport and routinely had Top 10 teams. Now you have 3 programs absolutely disgusted with the conference because the conference is trying to break their contract and renegotiate lower payouts. You have some programs straight up leaving. You have two programs wanting to disband the entire board. And you have some members trying to get the conference to merge with the PAC.
MWC was really good at football last year and now they suck. Amazing what a year does. Air force Fresno Boise and SDSU in that order will be the good ones it seems.

They were setup for another run as they had during the Moore era, but now they in danger of losing their winning season streak. It’s sad to see how far teams will fall as in 90 years they’ve only had 4 sub .500 seasons ever
The biggest thing Utah St has to figure out and fix going forward is the run defense. You can't be giving up 249 on the ground to UCONN and 199 on the ground to Weber St and be as good as you expected to be. The run fits have been awful. Pursuit has been awful. Tackling has been sus. I think they'll be fine on offense. Bonner is a good college QB and they have weapons.

First one was bobbled by the receiver and bounced right to a defender. Second one was an easy 6 and I'm not sure what happened there. I think Utah St is better than this outcome indicates. Weber St is probably better than expected as well. The biggest thing Utah St needs to figure out and fix going forward is the run defense.

But seeing all these fbs teams lose to fcs teams that i played with is kinda mind boggling Mind you i would play dynasty from said year to around this year or 2 years previous. the results still are the same
