RV series of Mig-21 is gorgeous, even if quite difficult to build, and you made justice of this fantastic aircraft!

@@marcogarbin2977 my personal opinion: about surface detail these RV/KP kits are second only to Eduard kits.
Size and shapes are sufficiently spot on, but with some errors that can be fixed (more or less easily) and quite poor parts fitting.
Zvezda nose intake of the Mig-21bis is surely more correct, but kit surface detail is poor.
RV/KP kit of the UM is also ok for overall shapes and size, and shares the same super surface detail of the other kits of the series, but the cockpit needs quite a lot of work

The bis and mf suck big time.Too big of a spine and totally wrong nose and the glass parts are like a caricature.But the surface details ia awesome

Thanks John.The hairspray i used to destabilise the top color with watwr and make it easier to chip.Google hairspray chipping effects for a detailed explanation.

Thank you.I am looking to get 3 adfitional kits as well for my collection.The kits are geberaly ok.There is some hard areas but nothing too bad.The details are fine and I generally find it quite njce to work on.

Can I use matt black to unify the whole airplane's surface instead of Mr surfacer 1500?

Yeah but the ordinary modelling paint wont bite and atick to the surface as thr primer does.It is much less durable etc..that is the single reason i use this surfacer.
