Cool channel. Can you explain to me how I connect the ZED R16 so that I can record it on Ableton. I only need it as an analog console. I still have an RME 800 audio interface.
Unfortunately I do not use Abelton and have never used it. I have been using Cakewalk through to Sonar Producer only. Thanks for asking....Trev
If you want to record with your mixer I would suggest to connect the adat to the RME. Like this you just add aditional Ins (and Out) to your Audio Interface and I guess the quality of the converters if the RME are dope. I would not use the Zed R16 as an Audio Interface, but you could use it as a Midi Controller with Ableton Live. Having a high quality RME Interface I think this is would be the best setup. You can then easy select the Adat channels counting from channel 14 I think...
@@mariorobles87 Mario, thank you for your response to Matthias Stammann. With this setup the Zed R16 is plugged into my PC via Firewire which talks to sonar Producer via the ZED R16 Drivers which were written for Sonar Producer. Thanks again for your comments.... Trev
