No side in Warcraft is the Good guys. Both factions, the Horde and the Alliance have reasons to fight each other, have done horrible things to each other, and have inspiring Heroes. As the opening line states, it's a cycle of Hatred, as each side can't forgive or let go of past wrongs they continue to find reasons that lead them to conflict. Was cool to see the reaction with the kids. You should really watch more of Blizzard's cinematics. They're all of this amazing quality.
That little boys battlefield assessments are on point. At 2:03 he says "You need to hit the tower" and at 3:32 he says "Just shoot him in the head with an arrow, his head is wide open." That's natural talent right there.

@@Hektor8835 Well.... in Old Soldier its the night BEFOR the battle (morning it starts), so the intro cinematic is after Old Soldier, because the battle is happening. So i think in the timeline old soldier is befor the intro cinematic, or i am wrong? (Lost Honor is than AFTER the intro cinematic)
WeedBox he died in Battle for Azeroth... one of the favorite characters of WoW and or just respected. If I’m nor wrong also the oldest character that has been here since the beginning. Lok’tar ogar Saurfang, he earned his warrior’s death
They don't know the backstory, i tried showing old soldier to some buddies to get them into the game. They liked every other trailed except that one since they don't really get who is what, and why they should be emotional about it. SO i'd say pass on that.
I think the big girl could play very well Sylanvas because she has some intense expressions and is smart! And I love how the little girl questions things and wants to know characters before choosing and judging them. The boy seems not very expressive but he said something very wise. Very smart children. Just like try to enslave the Valkyrs, burning the tree, killing civil Humans and undeads who wanted to live in peace together, use a biological weapon against your own soilders and the Allianz, try to kill one of the honorables charackters, raise an dead man back to live against his will and wants to use him to kill his family by breaking his will. Around the time of the Cataclysm, Anduin Wrynn( the NOW King) decided to pursue the path of a priest( in game, heals or dps ) of the Church of the Holy Light.

Blizzard's 'cinematic trailers', especially this one, really give you the feeling of looking at the 'real' Azeroth of which the game is kind of a sketchy adaptation.

I've been playing this game since the beginning in 2001. The girl as you called her is actually very close to her real name. She is known as The Dark Lady Slyvannas (spelling ??) and she is a Banshee (amazing backstory) that is currently the leader of the Horde. There was some confusion as to who the good guys were and who the bad guys were, I can clear that up. It's all really a matter of perpective...Some would say (Alliance players mostly) that the Alliance (guys in blue) lead by King Anduin Wrynn are the good guys. Lady Slyvannas has only one thing in mind...wipe out the living. I highly suggest watching her backstory along with the boy king. Thanks for the video and I hope I was able to clear some things up for you. P.S The little boy is on the right track about the invasion but its for a good cause...;)
The only thing I didn't like in this video was the fact that you haven't palyed WoW and at the beginning sided with Horde making the Alliance look like bad guys... The fact is if the Video started with the king Anduin with the flashbacks saying how he wanted peace and never wanted the war,but was forced to fight and then this scenes you woudl again be sided with the Alliance and think of Horde as bad side... The fact is that none of them Are good or bad...the fact is that Sylvanas(the elf with bow and arrow) is selfish bit** who fights for herself using Horde... I would rather have someone from previous lead on the Horde side than her... I as Alliance player say how not the Horde is bad, But Sylvanas!
Anduin is a boy..... Sylvannas is the way she is because of Arthas an alliance prince turned baddy.... I suggest you look into the Lore of both factions.

I've played since 2008. I'm a grandmother of 9 and I play daily. This is one of the best trailers WoW has ever put out. Sylvanas is the woman, she's a Blood Elf Hunter who was changed into a banshee by a bad guy character years ago. The guy in red armor who got hit with the arrows is her War Chief, Saurfang. He has a great story in this expansion (Battle for Azeroth). The big wolf is a king too, his name is King Genn Greymane. He turns from human to wolf (ie: werewolf) when he wants to. The guy in the shiny armor who pulls down the light is King Anduin Wrynn and yes, he's young for a king. His father was Varian Wrynn and he was a hero who died in the last version (expansion) of the game, saving his people so that they could get away from a battle. Anduin was 18 when he became king, he's not but about 19 in this. He's trying hard to fill his father's big shoes. He's a priest/paladin who can wield the light, he is resurrecting (bringing alive again) and healing his troops so they can fight again. This newest expansion is Dragonflight and yes, you can ride and race dragons in it. As for new trailers to watch, there's a new cinematic trailer for the next expansion: World of Warcraft: The World Within. King Anduin is in it too, you should check it out.
The elf is Sylvanas Windrunner, the banshee queen a undead blood elf. She is the leader of the Horde. The Horde is made up of orcs, tauren, trolls, blood elves, forsaken (undead humans), goblins, and panderans. The horde have often done some bad stuff but they usually find a way to correct it but this time a lot of innocent people were killed in a massive burning ordered by Sylvanas. The Alliance lead by king Anduin Wyrnn and yeah he was a prince but his father died fighting some demons, his father was a incredibly powerful warrior and living embodiment of a wild wolf god named Goldrinn so the called him Logash or leader of the pack. This battle is retaliation for that burning. The alliance is made up by humans, dwarves gnomes, night elves, dreanai, worgen (werewolves) and panderan

funny how they make Sylvanas seemingly care but conveniently omit her murdering her own troops and raising them as mindless undead then nuking her own city in a scorched earth tactic in order to murder all alliance leaders in an ambush. i mean that would probably turn away people from playing Blizzards preferred faction of The Horde if they portrayed the leader like the genocidal psychopath she is, in the opening trailer.
The Forsaken are given free will, its part of the entry quests for the race and even in the most recent books, they don't have to follow Sylvaanas... They choose to.
They don't only after time and will they can scape her mind control. Horde is portrayed as nice people when actually they've taken that city from the Alliance long ago.
Also very nice to omit that this attack is the reaction of burning down a Tree that was a source of life in the planet and sending her rogues to brutally murder children and innocent people, but specially children, just because she can't have any... But yeah, we buy the "Horde is cool" thingy.
@Dan Druid. Well the Forsaken have ALWAYS been rather twisted. You play the Forsaken questlines, you are basically roleplaying as one of the psychos/monsters in Halloween/Saw/Friday 13/Elm Street franchises. They have always been a reflection of Sylvanas.
PandoMar the forsaken are the humans that lived in Lordaeron before the Lich King killed them and raised them as undead. The Lich Kings power weakened so he had to return to Northrend and recharge. So he lost control of the undead he raised in Lordaeron. Consciousness (souls?) returned to those undead. Essentially they were in their minds human so obviously they wanted to go home but the Alliance didn’t see it that way. They were forsaken by them you might say.
What a lovely family you guys have. You really should check out the "Old Soldier" Cinematic. It plays right before this one and shows some more lore details about two characters. And there are a bunch of more WoW cinematics, to each expansion to be exact. They are all great. The King in this Cinematic is King Anduin, Son of King Varian. Varian died in battle defending his faction known as the alliance. And being prince, Anduin obviously has to take the mantle of king. He used to be a priest(which in the game is usually a healer). The blade he is holding was his father's before he died. And when Anduin found it on the battlefield where his father fell, he took the blade and it was given life again(The light that is in the center of the blade will die if it's owner has fallen). Now Anduin has converted to a type of paladin(basically a holy knight). Now he is in a confusing war of betrayal and unnecessary slaughter.
There is technically no bad guys in this one ( except for Sylvanas the Warchief of the Horde.) This expansion is a battle for survival and to show that neither side will back down. What the trailer was the fight for Lorderon. The Horde took Lorderon after it's fall to the scourge, but now the Alliance will have no more of it. The time to take back Lorderon from Sylvanas has come. ( that is only one major event from the story not the main)
Goblins mining Azerite,Sylvanas liking that,Alliance not liking that,Alliance sending a fleet to Sili,Sylvanas getting to Darnassus first and razing it.
It's obvious she is planning something. She has always been scheming behind other people's backs. She had the goblins mine without the rest of the Horde knowing. The Horde leaders still don't trust her (except the goblin leader of course.)I am sure she will be a main villain in a raid this expansion if not the Main one.
Anduin (the king) is 17/18 years old here, his father just died months prior indirectly because of Sylvanas (High Elf with black tear stains and red eyes, she was killed and resurrected as a banshee about 25 years ago), the Alliance here (blue banners) are attacking the Horde (red banners) at the city of Lordearon in retaliation for Sylvanas burning down the Night Elves giant world tree, Teldrassil
I would really recommend this game! I know a lot about the story, so feel free to ask any questions you have! It is a lot more complex than its origins of "good guy vs bad guy" so it will take a long time to explain! Better to tell the story of individual characters over big events to tie it in all together.
Lor’themar Theron, leader of the Blood Elves, a former Alliance race that joined the Horde, explained quite concisely why the Horde came to be and why they are always fighting the Alliance. After the Purge of Dalaran, where the Alliance specifically targeted roughly 1/4 of the city’s population for extermination or imprisonment because of their race alone, Lor’themar, with barely restrained fury, stated that the Horde exists because of the Alliance, to give the other races a fighting chance against their hatred and bigotry. It is also worth noting it is the Alliance’s actions that spark the war you see being fought in this cinematic. One of the most intriguing things about Warcraft is it is most often the “barbarian” fantasy races such as Orcs, Trolls, and Undead who are the good guys while the Humans and their allies are the bad guys. An important reminder not to judge someone based on their appearance alone, and one I commend Blizzard for.
I’m an avid WoW player, and I know a lot of the story behind this. First, I’d like to say that you’re right, Anduin is too young to be king. But unfortunately, his father died fighting a worldwide demon invasion (in WoW: Legion), and Anduin is the heir. He is the leader of the Alliance, who are made up of humans, night elves, gnomes, dwarves, Worgen (cursed humans who are a bit like werewolves) and Draenei. Anduin is a Priest (a healer/damage class who follows The Light), and has always been trying to make peace. The Dark Lady is Sylvanas Windrunner. She was a high elf, who got killed and raised from the dead as a Banshee (the form she takes when she jumps from the tower). After reclaiming her physical body, she is now the Queen of the Forsaken (undead), and at the same time as Anduin’s father died, she was made Warchief of the Horde, the “red side”. The Horde is made up of orcs (big green guys). trolls, Tauren (the cow people), goblins (small green guys), undead and blood elves. The Alliance and the Horde have been fighting for generations. Usually, both sides have both good and bad points, but in this particular fight, Sylvanas TOTALLY started it. How, you can see in the video Warbringers: Sylvanas. What happens in the video you just saw is a direct response.
The castle is Lordaeron, ancestral home of the Menethil royal family, human members of the Alliance faction. The blonde young man is High King Anduin Wyrnn, leader of the Alliance. He is still mourning the recent death of his father, Varian Wyrnn. He carries his father's sword., Shalamayne. Varian was raised by the Menethils in Lordaeron after he was orphaned in childhood. The female with red eyes is Warchief Sylvanas, leader of the Horde, an opposing faction. She and her people are essentially squatters who moved into the sewers beneath the city. King Anduin has come to evict them. In recent history, Sylvanas and Varian agreed to battle the Legion, an off world enemy come to destroy their homeworld. Sylvanas led the Horde retreat when the Legion forces proved too overwhelming. Varian died a hero's death covering the retreat of the Alliance forces. With the formidable Varian out of her way, Sylvanas means to capture his heir's home city of Stormwind. She plans to slay the inhabitants and then raise them from the dead to replenish her army of undead. She began her campaign by torching the Alliance home city of the Night Elves, (occupants included). Anduin has pursued her to Lordaeron.
Life Meets Family Well, from what I recall Sylvanas has now completely lost it and sees life as the enemy. Life means struggle and struggle means suffering, so to end suffering life must end. I might be wrong, haven't been keeping up with all the changes but I think that's the jist of it

The Girl character is Sylvanas Windrunner, she is a member of a faction of the Horde, and the city she was defending used to be a city of the Alliance. The "Young" king is King Andowyn Ryn, He father was killed by the betrayal of Sylvanas Windrunner at the battle on the Broken Shores. This is the Alliances attempt to reclaim the capitol city of Lordoron, also known as Undercity.
I think this is great and, you guys are great! My favorite part about this trailer is the way they sort of portray both sides as being both good and evil. Because, that's how the game is. My wife and I are LONG time WoW players. We're both Forsaken. The undead people. We are team Horde. ^_^
Dearest SunShine I think you asked the best question; who is the good guy, and who is the bad guy. But fist thing's first. The name of this world is Azeroth. As you can see here there many races living on Azeroth. For some reason (very long story) these races had to form as 2 interracial gatherness; the Alliance (Humans, dwarves, night-elves, gnomes, warewolves, and dreanai) the Horde (Orcs, trolls, taurens, undead, blood-elves, and goblins,). This castle is Lordaeron. It was a great fortress of humans once. Those lands has been ruled by a good king named Terenas for almost 70 years. Then he tragically murdered and Lordaeron has fallen by an evil force named the Scourge. That fierce woman is Sylvanas Windrunner. She is the Warchief; leader of the Horde. She WAS an elf once. Believe or not, she is now an undead. Killed by king Terenas' son, and resurrected by the Lich King of the Scourge as a banshee. After the fall of Lordaeron, the Scourge has been defeated by both Horde and Alliance together, she united with the Horde, claimed the castle, and held for almost 20 years. Recently she did a very very bad thing to the Alliance and there they are; the Alliance has come for Justice. Leading by the young king of Stormwind. His name is Anduin. Though he's a priest (healed his entire army as you see), wielding his father's sword, he's good at sword fighting as well. The Horde is not evil, the Alliance is not good. This is not a clash between the black and white, instead a clash between red and blue. They both have the honor and glory of their own way. If someone decide to make a TV show about this, It'd last longer than the Game of Thrones. So this is very summary of the thing you just watch. Watch first "Warbringers: Sylvanas", then "Old Soldier" if you want to see why the Alliance has come for the Banshee queen's head.
The king's father died in the last expansion due to a demon invasion. His father gave his life to save their army so the current king now has his father's sword and at a young age leading his faction against the horde
There is a movie called World of Warcraft. There are two factions, The Horde and the Alliance. Alliance is a factions which has different races such as Dwarves, Night Elves, Worgens, Draeneis, Gnomes, and Humans. The Horde same as the Alliance has their own different races, like Undead, Taurens, Trolls, Orcs, goblins and Blood Elves. This game started with Warcraft when the Orcs invaded Azeroth, Humans and Orcs. The young boy is King when his father was killed by Guldan in Legion so he had to become the next king. There is a cinematic for that one as well. You can look most of them up on RUclips. I am avid player of the game. I love the whole back story. I do hope you all enjoy all the cinematic to this game. They are all incredible. =)

@@Hektor8835 Well.... in Old Soldier its the night BEFOR the battle (morning it starts), so the intro cinematic is after Old Soldier, because the battle is happening. So i think in the timeline old soldier is befor the intro cinematic, or i am wrong? (Lost Honor is than AFTER the intro cinematic)

Old Soldier is really good, It take place right before.
They don't know the backstory, i tried showing old soldier to some buddies to get them into the game. They liked every other trailed except that one since they don't really get who is what, and why they should be emotional about it.

I think the big girl could play very well Sylanvas because she has some intense expressions and is smart! And I love how the little girl questions things and wants to know characters before choosing and judging them. The boy seems not very expressive but he said something very wise. Very smart children. Just like try to enslave the Valkyrs, burning the tree, killing civil Humans and undeads who wanted to live in peace together, use a biological weapon against your own soilders and the Allianz, try to kill one of the honorables charackters, raise an dead man back to live against his will and wants to use him to kill his family by breaking his will. Yep Sylvanas is Moraly Gray.

Blizzard's 'cinematic trailers', especially this one, really give you the feeling of looking at the 'real' Azeroth of which the game is kind of a sketchy adaptation.
Blizzard, this was a perfect focus group test. A whole family that knows nothing about Warcraft would watch a movie made entirely by your cinematics team.

I've been playing this game since the beginning in 2001. The girl as you called her is actually very close to her real name. She is known as The Dark Lady Slyvannas (spelling ??) and she is a Banshee (amazing backstory) that is currently the leader of the Horde. There was some confusion as to who the good guys were and who the bad guys were, I can clear that up. It's all really a matter of perpective...Some would say (Alliance players mostly) that the Alliance (guys in blue) lead by King Anduin Wrynn are the good guys. Lady Slyvannas has only one thing in mind...wipe out the living. I highly suggest watching her backstory along with the boy king. Thanks for the video and I hope I was able to clear some things up for you. P.S The little boy is on the right track about the invasion but its for a good cause...;)

The only thing I didn't like in this video was the fact that you haven't palyed WoW and at the beginning sided with Horde making the Alliance look like bad guys...
The fact is if the Video started with the king Anduin with the flashbacks saying how he wanted peace and never wanted the war,but was forced to fight and then this scenes you woudl again be sided with the Alliance and think of Horde as bad side...
The fact is that none of them Are good or bad...the fact is that Sylvanas(the elf with bow and arrow) is selfish bit** who fights for herself using Horde... I would rather have someone from previous lead on the Horde side than her...

Anduin is a boy..... Sylvannas is the way she is because of Arthas an alliance prince turned baddy.... I suggest you look into the Lore of both factions.

"I kinda wish that was a movie". So did we. Then we got that abomination, instead of a beautifully animated masterpiece.
I've played since 2008. I'm a grandmother of 9 and I play daily. This is one of the best trailers WoW has ever put out. Sylvanas is the woman, she's a Blood Elf Hunter who was changed into a banshee by a bad guy character years ago. The guy in red armor who got hit with the arrows is her War Chief, Saurfang. He has a great story in this expansion (Battle for Azeroth). The big wolf is a king too, his name is King Genn Greymane. He turns from human to wolf (ie: werewolf) when he wants to. The guy in the shiny armor who pulls down the light is King Anduin Wrynn and yes, he's young for a king. His father was Varian Wrynn and he was a hero who died in the last version (expansion) of the game, saving his people so that they could get away from a battle. Anduin was 18 when he became king, he's not but about 19 in this. He's trying hard to fill his father's big shoes. He's a priest/paladin who can wield the light, he is resurrecting (bringing alive again) and healing his troops so they can fight again.
This newest expansion is Dragonflight and yes, you can ride and race dragons in it.
As for new trailers to watch, there's a new cinematic trailer for the next expansion: World of Warcraft: The World Within. King Anduin is in it too, you should check it out.

The elf is Sylvanas Windrunner, the banshee queen a undead blood elf. She is the leader of the Horde. The Horde is made up of orcs, tauren, trolls, blood elves, forsaken (undead humans), goblins, and panderans. The horde have often done some bad stuff but they usually find a way to correct it but this time a lot of innocent people were killed in a massive burning ordered by Sylvanas. The Alliance lead by king Anduin Wyrnn and yeah he was a prince but his father died fighting some demons, his father was a incredibly powerful warrior and living embodiment of a wild wolf god named Goldrinn so the called him Logash or leader of the pack. This battle is retaliation for that burning. The alliance is made up by humans, dwarves gnomes, night elves, dreanai, worgen (werewolves) and panderan
To call a Worgen a Werewolf really is kinda wrong.

funny how they make Sylvanas seemingly care but conveniently omit her murdering her own troops and raising them as mindless undead then nuking her own city in a scorched earth tactic in order to murder all alliance leaders in an ambush. i mean that would probably turn away people from playing Blizzards preferred faction of The Horde if they portrayed the leader like the genocidal psychopath she is, in the opening trailer.
The Forsaken are given free will, its part of the entry quests for the race and even in the most recent books, they don't have to follow Sylvaanas... They choose to.
They don't only after time and will they can scape her mind control. Horde is portrayed as nice people when actually they've taken that city from the Alliance long ago.
Also very nice to omit that this attack is the reaction of burning down a Tree that was a source of life in the planet and sending her rogues to brutally murder children and innocent people, but specially children, just because she can't have any... But yeah, we buy the "Horde is cool" thingy.
@Dan Druid. Well the Forsaken have ALWAYS been rather twisted. You play the Forsaken questlines, you are basically roleplaying as one of the psychos/monsters in Halloween/Saw/Friday 13/Elm Street franchises. They have always been a reflection of Sylvanas.
PandoMar the forsaken are the humans that lived in Lordaeron before the Lich King killed them and raised them as undead. The Lich Kings power weakened so he had to return to Northrend and recharge. So he lost control of the undead he raised in Lordaeron. Consciousness (souls?) returned to those undead. Essentially they were in their minds human so obviously they wanted to go home but the Alliance didn’t see it that way. They were forsaken by them you might say.

Yes but legion will show a small backstory of the king to the family
The King in this Cinematic is King Anduin, Son of King Varian. Varian died in battle defending his faction known as the alliance. And being prince, Anduin obviously has to take the mantle of king. He used to be a priest(which in the game is usually a healer). The blade he is holding was his father's before he died. And when Anduin found it on the battlefield where his father fell, he took the blade and it was given life again(The light that is in the center of the blade will die if it's owner has fallen). Now Anduin has converted to a type of paladin(basically a holy knight). Now he is in a confusing war of betrayal and unnecessary slaughter.
Fun fact, when she will be reviewing this video after 5-6 years, she will be playing Alliance! :P

There is technically no bad guys in this one ( except for Sylvanas the Warchief of the Horde.) This expansion is a battle for survival and to show that neither side will back down. What the trailer was the fight for Lorderon. The Horde took Lorderon after it's fall to the scourge, but now the Alliance will have no more of it. The time to take back Lorderon from Sylvanas has come. ( that is only one major event from the story not the main)
and they're attacking Sylvanas cause she burned many of innocent people in Teldrassil ( night elves capital )

It's obvious she is planning something. She has always been scheming behind other people's backs. She had the goblins mine without the rest of the Horde knowing. The Horde leaders still don't trust her (except the goblin leader of course.)I am sure she will be a main villain in a raid this expansion if not the Main one.

Anduin (the king) is 17/18 years old here, his father just died months prior indirectly because of Sylvanas (High Elf with black tear stains and red eyes, she was killed and resurrected as a banshee about 25 years ago), the Alliance here (blue banners) are attacking the Horde (red banners) at the city of Lordearon in retaliation for Sylvanas burning down the Night Elves giant world tree, Teldrassil

I would really recommend this game! I know a lot about the story, so feel free to ask any questions you have! It is a lot more complex than its origins of "good guy vs bad guy" so it will take a long time to explain! Better to tell the story of individual characters over big events to tie it in all together.

Lor’themar Theron, leader of the Blood Elves, a former Alliance race that joined the Horde, explained quite concisely why the Horde came to be and why they are always fighting the Alliance.
After the Purge of Dalaran, where the Alliance specifically targeted roughly 1/4 of the city’s population for extermination or imprisonment because of their race alone, Lor’themar, with barely restrained fury, stated that the Horde exists because of the Alliance, to give the other races a fighting chance against their hatred and bigotry.
It is also worth noting it is the Alliance’s actions that spark the war you see being fought in this cinematic.
One of the most intriguing things about Warcraft is it is most often the “barbarian” fantasy races such as Orcs, Trolls, and Undead who are the good guys while the Humans and their allies are the bad guys. An important reminder not to judge someone based on their appearance alone, and one I commend Blizzard for.

I’m an avid WoW player, and I know a lot of the story behind this.
First, I’d like to say that you’re right, Anduin is too young to be king. But unfortunately, his father died fighting a worldwide demon invasion (in WoW: Legion), and Anduin is the heir. He is the leader of the Alliance, who are made up of humans, night elves, gnomes, dwarves, Worgen (cursed humans who are a bit like werewolves) and Draenei.
Anduin is a Priest (a healer/damage class who follows The Light), and has always been trying to make peace.
The Dark Lady is Sylvanas Windrunner. She was a high elf, who got killed and raised from the dead as a Banshee (the form she takes when she jumps from the tower). After reclaiming her physical body, she is now the Queen of the Forsaken (undead), and at the same time as Anduin’s father died, she was made Warchief of the Horde, the “red side”. The Horde is made up of orcs (big green guys). trolls, Tauren (the cow people), goblins (small green guys), undead and blood elves.
The Alliance and the Horde have been fighting for generations. Usually, both sides have both good and bad points, but in this particular fight, Sylvanas TOTALLY started it. How, you can see in the video Warbringers: Sylvanas. What happens in the video you just saw is a direct response.

The castle is Lordaeron, ancestral home of the Menethil royal family, human members of the Alliance faction. The blonde young man is High King Anduin Wyrnn, leader of the Alliance. He is still mourning the recent death of his father, Varian Wyrnn. He carries his father's sword., Shalamayne. Varian was raised by the Menethils in Lordaeron after he was orphaned in childhood. The female with red eyes is Warchief Sylvanas, leader of the Horde, an opposing faction. She and her people are essentially squatters who moved into the sewers beneath the city. King Anduin has come to evict them.
In recent history, Sylvanas and Varian agreed to battle the Legion, an off world enemy come to destroy their homeworld. Sylvanas led the Horde retreat when the Legion forces proved too overwhelming. Varian died a hero's death covering the retreat of the Alliance forces. With the formidable Varian out of her way, Sylvanas means to capture his heir's home city of Stormwind. She plans to slay the inhabitants and then raise them from the dead to replenish her army of undead. She began her campaign by torching the Alliance home city of the Night Elves, (occupants included). Anduin has pursued her to Lordaeron.

The Girl character is Sylvanas Windrunner, she is a member of a faction of the Horde, and the city she was defending used to be a city of the Alliance. The "Young" king is King Andowyn Ryn, He father was killed by the betrayal of Sylvanas Windrunner at the battle on the Broken Shores. This is the Alliances attempt to reclaim the capitol city of Lordoron, also known as Undercity.
I think this is great and, you guys are great! My favorite part about this trailer is the way they sort of portray both sides as being both good and evil. Because, that's how the game is. My wife and I are LONG time WoW players. We're both Forsaken. The undead people. We are team Horde. ^_^

Dearest SunShine I think you asked the best question; who is the good guy, and who is the bad guy. But fist thing's first.
The name of this world is Azeroth. As you can see here there many races living on Azeroth. For some reason (very long story) these races had to form as 2 interracial gatherness;
the Alliance (Humans, dwarves, night-elves, gnomes, warewolves, and dreanai)
the Horde (Orcs, trolls, taurens, undead, blood-elves, and goblins,).
This castle is Lordaeron. It was a great fortress of humans once. Those lands has been ruled by a good king named Terenas for almost 70 years. Then he tragically murdered and Lordaeron has fallen by an evil force named the Scourge.
That fierce woman is Sylvanas Windrunner. She is the Warchief; leader of the Horde. She WAS an elf once. Believe or not, she is now an undead. Killed by king Terenas' son, and resurrected by the Lich King of the Scourge as a banshee. After the fall of Lordaeron, the Scourge has been defeated by both Horde and Alliance together, she united with the Horde, claimed the castle, and held for almost 20 years.
Recently she did a very very bad thing to the Alliance and there they are; the Alliance has come for Justice. Leading by the young king of Stormwind. His name is Anduin. Though he's a priest (healed his entire army as you see), wielding his father's sword, he's good at sword fighting as well.
The Horde is not evil, the Alliance is not good. This is not a clash between the black and white, instead a clash between red and blue. They both have the honor and glory of their own way.
If someone decide to make a TV show about this, It'd last longer than the Game of Thrones. So this is very summary of the thing you just watch.
Watch first "Warbringers: Sylvanas", then "Old Soldier" if you want to see why the Alliance has come for the Banshee queen's head.

The king's father died in the last expansion due to a demon invasion. His father gave his life to save their army so the current king now has his father's sword and at a young age leading his faction against the horde

This game started with Warcraft when the Orcs invaded Azeroth, Humans and Orcs. The young boy is King when his father was killed by Guldan in Legion so he had to become the next king. There is a cinematic for that one as well. You can look most of them up on RUclips. I am avid player of the game. I love the whole back story. I do hope you all enjoy all the cinematic to this game. They are all incredible. =)
