Various shots as the hairdressers put rollers in boys' hair then add hairnets and plastic bags. M/S as one is put under a big hairdryer, others use hand held ones. M/S Don Nickerson coming out from under his dryer. Judges come round and hold up boards to check symmetry. Various shots of judges going round. C/U of the winner, A.G. Gray of Lancaster. C/U of young men, M/S as camera pans across the three of them with their newly coiffured hair.
