Before digital cameras were available to everyone, Wildlife photographers spent thousands of dollars on equipment and staged elaborate set-ups to get the quality that you get. That underwater alligator shot was incredible.
Beautiful and extremely well done. You have my favorite critter at the start. When I am camping I consider it a loss if I do not hear some Owls at night while out there. To me , they are the voices of Florida's Swamps and Woods. Not slighting the Gator , when they bellow at night it will make you sit up and take notice.
Absolutely greatest video captures on YT. Your trail cam pickup series got me hooked, have 3 Browning TC's and lots of deer and coyote with a few not so common critters from the area where I live.
Wow! Awesome videos of swamp life!! And critters! How did you get so close to those gators!? Yikes! And that poor turtle! I was hoping the gator gave up, but he probably didn't huh? You've got a ton of talent Tim!! Highly entertaining!! But keep in mind always Steve Erwin! Be careful!
Awwwman..... Owls and anoles and even fishing-expedition-destroying gators and beautiful little swamp deer... now I'm homesick. I'll pass on the cottonmouth, though..... Were those red-shouldered hawks? Living out west now, I mostly know southwestern haws, but those were just beautiful! I love how shockingly ALIVE swamps are; how the hell did you manage to get video of that egg-laying sequence? And those beautiful ratsnakes! Gorgeous! I do feel sorry for the turtle at the end, though; guess gators gotta eat too.
awesome footage.....the pleco armored catfish is an invasive species I believe.....so cool to see the gators climb up on the dock to sun themselves.....great film work....I got to get down there one of these days
Beautiful as always Tim, thank you 🙂 Please be mindful when taking chances filming. Alligators, would love you for a meal, if you make the wrong move. Not very likely, but how can you tell if they’re having a bad day? lol 😆 The cottonmouth is venomous, not sure if they can take your life. Positive if it was pissed off enough and bit you more than once it probably could tho. Quite sure that none of your followers would be happy if any animal maimed you. So please be careful in the swamp and currently be even more cautious in the city!!! Stay safe and well Tim 🙂
I feel like he knows what he is doing, but I get a little scared too. Parts of this video are as professional and exciting as what you see on River Monsters or something!
THE QWL WAS COOL TIM HAVE YOU EVER HEARD ONE SCREAM?SWAMPS ARE COOL WHEN I WAS A KID AND EVEN TODAY A SWAMP WAS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SKIP SCHOOL AND STAY ALL DAY LONG .i COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WADEING OUT IN IT AND LOOKING AT ALL THE DIFFERENT CRITTERS .AND THE LEECHES I WOULD COLLECT ON MY LEGS WAS REALLY WILD .I CAUGHT MUD TURTLES WITH THOUSANDS OF LECHES ON THEIR UNDERSIDES,I EVEN CAUGHT BULL FROGS THAT HAD LEECHES ON THEIR BELLIES AND ITS COOL HOW THE LEECH WILL TRY AND FIND A SOFT SPOT TO START DRAWING BLOOD FROM .THANKS FOR THIS COOL VIDEO,IT MAKES ME WANT TO GO AND PROWL THE SWAMP I JUST NEED TO WAIT FOR THE SNOW TO GET GONE LOL
I love the underwater shots, too. I never would have thought there were so many fish in the swamps. How far away from those gators were you? Are you using a camera on a stick? And what did the Cottonmouth strike at...you?
Was that owl yelling at you? Are you just walking around and spotting theses critters? This is amazing footage! I love the fact that you let the sounds of nature be the “music” for your videos!
Tim, would you mind listing the camera equipment, and any other useful outdoor accessories, you use in each video? Your videos are artful and inspiring. I live in South Florida and frequent many of the same areas, but do not get as far off the roads as you seem to do.
Barred owl, white morph? We have them in Fla, but their feathers are darker brown. Nice capture. I'll send you a pic of a black banded owl we took a night pic of while in the Patanal, Brazil if you'd like.
I remember the video of the gator and turtle. Did you ever stick around to find out if he got away or not? It sounded like you're down there with the fish and gator underwater.
👨💻💭 2020 these Trail cam videos R popping up now been watching TIM's trail cams NOW 🐻🐗🦉🤳🥇👍 florida lots animals there 😳.🦘🐨👈. oz straya cheers & good work🥇🤳SUCH GREAT CLOSE UP SHOTS
I signed all of these animals so interesting fascinate me but the spider no I really don't know about the different species but I signed her habits fascinating the gar in your first video I looked up information quite an invasive species and very aggressive I don't know how you go underwater with with the Gators how far away are you from the snakes and the Gators
Thanks for all of your comments Darlene. There's nothing I could do for that turtle. I don't think it is right to interfere with nature. Thanks for watching all of my videos. I hope to have a couple new ones up this weekend.
@@ShrikeZone I understand not wanting to mess with nature, but you did not have to film it. I was so grossed out and was so sad for the turtle...and I looked away.. I did not watch but I could hear it....Maybe you could warn ppl before a scene like that comes up so offended ppl can turn it off.
I Enjoy your videos a lot. Thanks for not adding music. Natures sounds are exciting to hear again.
I love your videos & so do my cats. They are usually in front of the tv blocking my view. All the alligator shots were fabulous!
Thank you Tim. I love watching your videos. They are beautiful and so well done. I appreciate you.
Your videos are as good as the nature channel, if not, better. Wonderful.
When he moved the underwater camera towards the gator, I literally leaned back in my chair. 😱

Great video, loved the under water shots. Thanks. Martin
One of my all time favorites. Thank you Tim.
You really do have a talent for capturing beautiful moments.
This is one of my favorite videos on RUclips. No frills, no narration, not even any text. Just pure incredible footage that speaks for itself.
Absolutely greatest video captures on YT. Your trail cam pickup series got me hooked, have 3 Browning TC's and lots of deer and coyote with a few not so common critters from the area where I live.

Thank you for sharing Tim.
Awesome owl !! Are you able to enter on your computer what these animals are if you know them? Keep more coming!! Give him a thumbs up folks!

Absolutely amazing footage! That must of been the 10 footer.
That owl call ( like a hiss) is in a lot of your videos. Now I know who it is
Nice videos 👍👍
Wow. I love your videos. I'm from central Florida and can relate.
How in the world did you film that alligator? Wow.
It was a trail cam
Very Good Tim I watch your video all the Time. I am number 200
Love it! Do it again!
Wow! As a Falconer, I've never seen a Raptor eat a crayfish, but when they're hungry...They'll eat just about anything, including my glove!
Wow, so many invasive fish ! Great video !

4:08 if you look closely in the back you can see another large splash in the water. Perhaps another gator 50 feet back?
just great 👍 I feel like being there.
Love these critters, even the alligator eating the turtle, just wish it was faster for the turtle's sake. Thank you for sharing!
tahoedewey Not the turtle!! How does he capture footage like this, not a trail cam. These animals let him film?
That was great ! I'm hooked ! Plz Be Careful ...
Rip turtle 💕
Love these videos

Thanks. I'm not sure who those owls were talking to. The barred owls don't seem to mind my presence and they continue to hoot and holler.
What was that big black fish?
Tim, would you mind listing the camera equipment, and any other useful outdoor accessories, you use in each video? Your videos are artful and inspiring. I live in South Florida and frequent many of the same areas, but do not get as far off the roads as you seem to do.
Beautiful footage Mr. Harrell. I can't help but wonder if your trail cameras were stolen as you've not posted any videos in some time?
Thanks Ralph. I still have the trail cameras out in the woods. I'll get some new videos up soon.
Holy cow that gator would have been it for me. That lizard looked like it had a slice of watermelon 🍉 under his chin
What lenses do you use,Sir? Gorgeous footage!!!
I usually use a canon 100-400 mm
It serves you well,very sharp!
Nice video.
I would have had to save the turtle though.....but that is just me...great video!!!
Very nice Tim.
Awesome
awesome video man. good job. what was making that grunting noise in the deer scene? Hogs? Bear?
Frogs
Another great video..
loved the video
Bravo.

That snake was frightening.
NatGeo is missing a wildlife photographer.
thank you
What camera did you use for the under water pictures?
GoPro
It's funny how the turtle try to escape that alligators in mouth.
was that hawk eating a scorpion?? 2:50
Looked like a lobster to me :)
@@matthiasaronjonsson3066 LOOKED LIKE A CRAB TO ME
Probably a crayfish like the one at the beginning of video 3 in this series.
What type of spider was that?
fishing spider
thank you
Danger Will Robinson...
When you going to post another trail cam video
I'm editing a couple now. I'll put a new one up soon.
Fine work.
Way cool video :)
Tim, at 2:15 time stamp and look in the background. You caught a Bigfoot behind the deer.
king fishers and anhinga in background cool.
I remember the video of the gator and turtle. Did you ever stick around to find out if he got away or not? It sounded like you're down there with the fish and gator underwater.
The turtle didn't make it. For the underwater shots, I use a GoPro on a golf ball retriever.
Aww for the turtle. Good idea on the GoPro. Were you in a boat?
Never had any problems like that.
Were you in a boat when you put the GoPro into the water? I can't imagine you were wading in there.

cool
how did you filmed the underwater parts?
GoPro
Poor turtle
Rip
The ToxicBadger pretty sure the grunting is gators
Can you do a video filming Guinea pigs
Luca Cheffey we don't have wild guinea pigs in Florida
I would have fought the gator for the turtle, we have too many gators and not enough turtles. Looked like a big gator.
viperman8788, It is maybe the turtle that hurt the nature the most.
So far I have really enjoyed your videos. However, shame on you for taping the gator and the turtle. That was just not right.
Thanks for all of your comments Darlene. There's nothing I could do for that turtle. I don't think it is right to interfere with nature. Thanks for watching all of my videos. I hope to have a couple new ones up this weekend.
