Accident during the 16th International Passion for Speed Event held at Zwartkops Raceway.

Porsche 911R involved in an accident during the practice session for the Pre 66/68 Le Mans Sports & GT race (tourist trophy). A Lola's gearbox broke in half dropping gearbox oil on the track. I spun on it and was struck by an Austin Healey from the UK

Very cool video bud. Pity about the spin-out. Hope the damage was not too hectic for both yourself and the Healey. Breaks my heart to even imagine a scratch on any one of the two. Good move to get out of the way you did though. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to some more.

The damage was luckily only body damage and nothing structural - did redo the car as it picked up a lot of marks over the years. Nothing wrong on the Healey though - that thing is as hard as a rock :-)

At the end, I was thinking the same thing as you...lets get the f*ck outta here!
BTW, I used to race my historic touring car one handed with the other hand resting on the gear lever and didn't know I was doing it till I looked at my onboards. Now both hands are on the wheel at all times, until i'm actually going for a shift. Onboard cameras are a great way of perfecting your driving technique. Great to watch, so keep on posting.
