This was the second Royal Duchy of 2021 run by Railway Touring Company from Slough to Par. We see the train at Slough, Taunton, Plymouth and Exeter St. Davids. We also see Great Western Railway Castle Class HST 43158 Kingswear Castle and 43172.

Great video - I liked the smoky departure of rhe 47 at Taunton and the beautiful sound of its engine, love the shot where there’s a blast of steam (about 3 and a bit minutes in) which then dissipates to reveal the loco! Getting a 43 in the shot at Plymouth was a nice touch too.

Hope you had a good trip! Nice shots of the various moves here. Not sure if you've seen, but St Blazey turntable will be brought back into use soon so hopefully before long it will be steam all the way to Par on these trips again!

these stations are so neat and well maintained unlike what we have here in South Africa our stations are in shambles
South African railway stations used to be immaculate, when I visited in the 1980/1990s.

Henry, do you know if Mayflower has been cancelled for Tues 3rd Aug? There’s nothing on RTT for it.
As far as I'm aware yes it's been cancelled. Not sure why.
@@HenrysAdventures gutted - couldn’t make it last week, too hot the week before - I was all set this week and now it’s cancelled 🙄 my plan to capture mayflower is cursed!
