That's not an R design. I didn't see the badge on the back, nor on the steering wheel. The R design steering wheel besides having a badge, are also ear marked by having paddle shifters. At first it looked like it could be, because of the black out accents which is part of an R design

I could spend half of that and build a better system but as for stock systems it's the best stock system I've had since my 2017 Audi S3 Harmon Kardon system.
the cabin is so quiet is ridiculous! i can see the difference with the mic and road noise compare to any other type of car. you need s class to get this level of quietness in the cabin
Drove a Volvo for many years, but finally got burned out with them because of so many issues and dealers are 90 miles away. I now drive a Hyundai Sonata Limited at half the price of this Volvo and it has more goodies like HUD, etc. In 44k miles it has never been in the shop except for maintenance! It is a turbo four and gets 35-42 MPG. On paper the hybrids seem like a good deal for the environment, but does anyone consider all that extra weight of the motors, batteries and electronics!
There's also an R-Design Expression trim with the Recharge (lowest cost trim) and I have such a hard time differentiating between that trim and the R-Design which is $3000 more
unless the battery is charged, you will get poor MPG with this. Also, volvo"s IC engines are notoriously unreliable, as are the electrical systems. 24 month lease candidate if you charge it every night

It is plagued with quality issues and has been in the shop more than all my previous cars were combined, I am in my late 30’s. Worse of all, dealing with the Volvo dealership network and Volvo USA has been even a worse experience. Endless circle of taking the vehicle to the shop to have quality issues and defects documented then calling Volvo USA for resolution but receiving no courtesy or care. I bought a $60k piece of crap that I do not even trust to drive more than 30 miles from my house. Asked them to buy it back or forgive my loan, would not. Asked them to give me a replacement vehicle, would not. Even though I have a service record the thickness of a dictionary on a car with 33k miles on it. They do not care about their customers unless they are selling you the car, after that you are on your own!

Love Volvos for me one of the best manufacturers of safe cars and has incredible design in all the modern versions.
The B is not for manual shift. It's for "Braking" which is the hybrid's regenerative shift.
