This was a great video! I used to love diving @ night on both the Kona side & Hilo side...I mainly went scuba diving on night dives...you are a very skilled free diver & spear fisherman...you make it look easy in this video, but most people couldn't come close to those depths & those bottom times
so cool man... 18 hr drive to the ocean here lol so pretty guava jelly. cant imagine going that deep! used to be able to hold my breath 2 min but thats chilling not swimming or hunting!

Your dives and techniques for spearing fish look safe and professional compared to other spear fishermen on RUclips. Having a firm grasp of the English language and not being tadded from head to toe helps tremendously with the video content. Thx

One time I got one soft shell ula. Fried it like soft shell crab. Half the tail shell was edible and delicious.
I went out today. Hoped to grab some fish, but the only thing I grabbed was a hand full of urchin spines.

Depends on the depth. The deeper you go the harder it gets to hold your breath because of the amount of energy you use to get down there and back up
