Denny Bahana, no doubt
Felix Herrera and Bratches are the only two that stood out. Their sound was just a bit more individual in comparison to the rest. All highly skilled no doubt, but what does it matter if you're just a rinse n repeat of the next guy in line!
Huuuge thanks for featuring me on my first ever entry for the shred collab! Means a lot and humbles me to see my video among so many jaw-dropping entries. Some of these guys in this and previous compilations are absolute beasts.
My favorite from this one are:
1. Leo Dienstuber
2. Chris Doughty
3. Benny Dean & Danny Bahana & Bratches
Good luck guys!
Very nice piece man. Looking forward to hearing more from you!!

Thank you so much for featuring me! There are so many amazing guitar players here. Also, the camaraderie and the amount of support between all of these smaller channels who all entered, watched each other's videos, and gave words of encouragement was so heartwarming and encouraging. The metal music corner of RUclips is truly one of the kindest communities out there.
Your shred was fire, dude.
Oh my damn!!! Thank you Soo so much for including me into your video!!! My God I never thought I'd ever show up in any of these contests!!
4:47
Shawn McNair has my humble vote for this batch. Killer pacing, melodic feel, chops, and tone!
Thank you so much for the feature Jared! Really cool solos over the original backing track here as well 🤘
Te amo❤
@@juan10k106 ❤️❤️❤️
Bro you were my favorite. That was awesome.
Thank you for adding my solo to the compilation Jared! You guys play amazing and I’m looking forward to seeing the top 10! Shout out to Lukas Danninger, Electric Vigilante, Denny Bahana, Jerry de la Cruz and Benny Dean! These were my favorite contestants of the video and I hope to see one of you guys in the top 10.
Thanks so much for including mine Jared!! So many sick solos in this competition 🎸🙌 y’all rock!!
My guy... you killed this
Your my #1 pick on this one.
Here's hoping 🤘
I really liked your entry! Came down in the comments to find ya
Wow, Brumms absolutely blew me away with his outstanding and incredibly melodic guitar shredding in this compilation by Jared Dines! 🎸🔥 It's clear that he's a true talent deserving of many more subscribers on his channel. Keep up the fantastic work, Brumms! 👏 And a big congratulations to all the other guitarists featured in this video as well. Each one of you brought something unique to the table, and it was a pleasure to watch and listen to your incredible skills. 🤘🎶
Thank You so Much Jared for choosing me in this Amazing Video.
All the Best
Tony Riveryman aka
Toni Jokinen
Love the dude at the end! 🤣That was the best way to end the video. He should be picked just to end the calab video.
Yeah but not taking up one of the 10 slots though. Cause that would be unfair to someone who actually made a sick solo
Thank you for the share! An honor to be included so far in this compilation, killer job to all
I REALLY loved your entry!
I mysilf love your commentary! Makes it real and humerous! ;)
I just started the video but I wanted to say that I actually really like the format of how you were doing it. Yeah, you chime in during pivotal parts of the solos and you butcher 2 out of every 3 names but you could build a whole channel out that and I’d still enjoy it. It’s really nice to feel like we are all a part of it, you know. Like, I know you are trying to get it out in a certain timeframe and you had an image of how this should go but, “It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey or sumshit”. - Gandhi
yeah he butchers names, but to be fair, most Americans butcher European names - particularly Polish and other Slavic names! It's hilarious to watch.
@@narcissus79 I mean nothing negative by it. I love it, and I wish he’d keep doing it. It feels so organic like back when YT wasn’t just everybody’s personal reality TV show.
@@rebelliousfineart8202 oh absolutely! I couldn't agree more!
I'd like to throw in a submission attempt once I get my cord to record off my spark amp I would have done it had it not been for losing it. I literally looped the song 10 times reversed the intro an played it for hours the other night just replaying soloing. I looked over between drum beats and the loop I played 3 hours in what felt like 30 mins.
@@El.Sasquatcho69 I usually only record music as form of journaling and meditation. I don’t usually share it with anybody and vocals are my focus but, I play guitar as well as other instruments. This has inspired me to also be a part of a shred collab however, just like you, I have an incomplete setup for guitar.
... everyone is so ridiculously good it's impossible to pick a favourite 😅
Dude this is like a mini colab! This is badass. I love this
7:49 Steve Dadaian for me was the most enjoyable to hear
Noooooooo petition to have Jared get the reactions to the shred videos back:
👇
Yes
Imma bout to make another channel so I can 👍 again
Brumms, i am captivated by your playing. You have my vote
You cannot deny us the Dines play by play on the videos... the magic is in the color commentary... you are now America's shed music anchor...
Denny Bahana
Diego Cassali
Ivan Marchosky
Shawn McNair
At this point I think I'll hope to make it next year, just too much awesomeness :')
greetings from Panama, Joe! 🇵🇦
@@IvanMarchoskygreetings man, you're incredible 🙏🏻
@@joefalchetto94 thank you so much! I really appreciate that, just trying :)
7:08 Shawn McNair and 8:30 Jar Guitar, 8:51 Bratches -> really tasty stuff... But all guys, you really need to calm down, this is completely insane...
Thak you so much for the love !! happy you enjoyed! 🤘🙏😄🎸
Thanks a lot for featuring me on this selection Jared! feel super honored! 😌🙏❤🔥
Oh, I forgot! my vote goes for Steve Wrangall hahahaha!! and Lukas Danninger & Steve Dadaian did spectacular solos!!
Your Frankenstein Monster guitar is bichin!
@@rebelliousfineart8202 Thaaanks a lot duude!! haha 🙏🤘😁
Chris Doughty and Shawn McNair are my favs! Phrasing just tickled my ears that way
Leo Dienstuber for me personally 🔥🔥 it’s the one that stayed in my head after watching yesterday. Incredible feel and impeccable choice of notes. You can tell this guy studied music.
This is tough man they're all so dang good
Epic! These dudes are unstoppable!
Thanks Mate !
man they're all so unique and different i love it
DAMN thank you for including me jared this was so much fun🤘
Gotta have Wrangall in it somewhere. Maybe something like this but shorter - you could put it first or last or somewhere in the middle to break it up maybe…
Shawn McNair on this one
James Frankland for bringing sort of a Nick Johnston vibe + that Filtertron crunchy bite
Tony Riveryman for those sweet sweet bends (I had him in honorable mentions til I gave it a few listens - good stuff.)
I like all the ones that offer something a little outside the ordinary and I think that those entries will make the most interesting full compilation. Anyone doing cleaner stuff but still shreddin hard (or just tip-top tone) with good melody and phrasing really stand out.
Diego Cassal honorable mention - phrasing stayed kind of the same throughout but that was really the only critique - loved the note choices and siiiilly shred.
And Electric Vigilante for the lols
so these guys stood out for me, in no particular order:
2:43 Electric Vigilante - sweet, elegant and fun, less is more!
3:24 Brumms - weird tone but I love it, beautiful guitar
4:07 Felix Herrera - excellent all rounder, clear, crisp and melodic
4:27 James Frankland - so smooth and such a nice tone, probably my favorite
6:07 Chris Doughty - I can almost taste the rest of the song only from the creative solo
8:09 Benny Dean - telling so much with that tapped arpeggio phrase
8:51 Bratches - electrifying tone
maximum kudos to everyone, what more could I say!
Shawn McNair!!!
@@salvatorefratto6070 he stole your heart didn't he
Thank you, I appreciate it man! 🙏
@@rof9877 you deserve it, watching this makes me want to pick up the guitar again
Damm boi, each and every entry is killer
4:47 I love this one!! Jerry de la cruz! It's amazing!
Liked:
• Denny Bahana
• Felix Herrera
• Dinko M
• Steve Dadaian
• Tosiek
Thank you 🙏
Respect pal fren Iván 🔥🔥
Muchisimas gracias!🙏
I think the last one is the best one by far, you should definetely include that one in the actual shred collab video!
So beautiful to the ears
Soooooo much talent here!
Steve Wrangall for the gold!!! 🥇
1. 6:07 Chris Doughty (Wow. Listened to his solo many times because he made it EpiC...)
2. 7:08 Shawn McNair (nice and distinctive musically, perfect solo)
3. 8:51 Bratches (nice and distinctive musically, perfect solo)
4. 5:48 Maxwell Singh
5. 4:27 James Frankland (?...so-so)
[9:32 Steve Wrangall (he is the winner. for sure :)) nice guy) 🤘 ]
The rest play just excellent. Excellent!!! All have Perfect techniques. I cannot play as many of them. But there is a problem: musically they sound pretty much the same at the line of 1000 shredders.
Thanks for including me in this Jared!!
Steve's a beast!!!my favorite from this comp has been Shred Herger, Norton, Israel Romero, Lukas and Kamil was great too
Chris Doughty stood out a lot for me! Definitely the most unique one!
I want to give every one of these shredders a beer in thanks for the ear candy.Six pack to you Jared for putting it together.Beer and thank you go together like Hallmark and birthday.
There's definitely a ton of great clips so far.
Leo Diensthuber easily provided the best mix of taste technique in combination with very interesting notes and style that made him sound different from everyone else. Great job, will check out Divine Realm after seeing this! 👏
Damn everyone killed it! Stoked to see my man Bryan Hawf on this one 🔥🤘🏻
My favs are:
Brumms
James Frankland
Chris Doughty
Shawn McNair
Leo Dienstuber
Jar Guitar
Thanks for having me on your list dude! super happy you liked my entry! 🙏😄🎸
Bravo Jared! 👏🤘Give them wings!
Why I'm not ever tired of listening to this? :) Even when I heard some "wrong" note.... That guy Steve strive to be next Steve T, but it can be the only one! 😃
Everyone of these are badass
I like James Frankland and Ivan Marchosky. Also you gotta include Steve Wrangall.
Thank you so much!🙏❤️
Leo Diensthuber 💯, epic feeling in that beginning segment and smooth throughout.
Insane!!
(MY TOP 3 - IN NO ORDER FOR THIS VIDEO) Chris Doughty, Ivan Marchosky, and obviously Shawn mclair
Glad you digged it! Greetings from Panama 🇵🇦
Worlds most impressive guitar collection !
Electric vigilante and Shawn McNair are the best here
Thanks so much 🙏
Let’s go Bratches! Smooth legato gets big style points in my book.
Glad to see 7:08 Shawn McNair on the video! Sick guitar player and one of my favorites on youtube.
Felix Herrera
Dinko M
Leo Dienstuber
Steve Dadaian
These are my favs.
Thank you so much!
Gotta love Brumms (3:24) That was original, I liked the melody an the guitar is drop-dead-gorgeous. Also Chris Doughty (6:06) I'm all for the bluesy-shred-stuff xD
Felix Herrera at 4:07 killing it though 🔥🔥
I appreciate it brother 💪
Loved James Frankland!!!
Very Nich Jhonston Chord changes in the middle.
My fav on this one is Ivan Marchosky, but also really dug Thomas Hogue, Denny Bahana(gorgeous tone), Jerry De La Cruz, Shawn McNair, Jar Guitar, Bratches
Thank you so much! Glad you dig it :)
@@IvanMarchosky I mean everyone has amazing chops in the vid, but I liked the original approach, composition and style
@@imsomeon I almost miss the delivery timeframe haha, it was about 4am in the video but I definitely enjoyed the rush, kind of a test 🤣
Thanks man! Appreciate you enjoying the solo!
Thanks a lot for the love man!! really appreciate it!! 🙏🤘😄
Giving it to 5:07. Some of his scales didn't quite fit the key of the backing track, but the dude was just flying. The dude flew! He was all over the place. His shred was very well-paced and timed.
Honorable mention to 7:08. I enjoyed his style.
7:49 Steve Dadaian, the one and only! He killed it beautifully ❤🔥🤘
This could be a shred collab of its own
No offense to whatever project you had going with the shred collab....
This is so entertaining, that I hope that you never get through them all! Hell yeah!
🤘😈🤘
7:50 Steve Dadaian is the best! Killer yet melodic solo!🔥👌
Felix Herrera went crazy, def wanna see more of his stuff 🔥
😘
3:45 i love denny bahana,it's amazing!
Finally a single cut! Benny Dean!
Braches and Tosiek are my picks from this video
Leo at 7:28 plays for a sick band called Divine Realm. Anybody who likes instrumental metal should definitely check them out, they're sick.
Bratches part at 8:56 was sicckkkk!
soooo hard to choose i dont wanna pick til the end but the ones who have a real story to tell are the ones who have me captivated. 🤟🏽
In that case, you should check out my solo then (I crafted it with the emphasis on it actually sounding good as well as having some virtuosity in it too)
Clearly saved the best for last! :O
Dom Chavez gets my vote! Absolutely nailed every part of that epic solo!
That last guy made me lmao😂😅
Denny Bahana for me @3:46
Two thumbs up for James Frankland. He gets my vote on this round.
Same him over all
4:07 that's a beautiful ESP!
Horizons rule.
Chumlee shreds? Nice work everyone!
Loved everything about Brumms' entry. Tone, note choice and that super liquid style of playing.
All that and a sweet looking guitar. Excellent.
Felix Herrera going crazy!!!
Thank you brother 💪
Huge shoutout to all the talented guitarists 💪🏾🔥
Let's go Shawn!!
Maxwell Singh at 5:48 went crazy damn
Yeah, I listened to his solo 5 times in a row. :D
Unlike the other videos they are almost all the same style here. I would say the bets solo is 3:46 Denny Bahana.
Humorously 2:43 Electric Vigilante at 2:56 quotes the 1980s song by the Vapors "Turning Japanese" but hid face doesn't register it.
Steve Dadaian! 🙌🔥
Ivan Marchosky 🔥🔥
Thank you so much dude!🙏
