One time I was chasing someone on Hoplite, and they ran away by swim mining in a cave. I turned that concept into a trap, and it was incredible. What a fun trap to run :)

Just found your channel, really been enjoying these trap videos. I think this one in particular was brilliant just because the bait chase felt so natural.
Missing the jump over the cave, stumbling into a mineshaft into a dead end, leaving you no choice but to tunnel away. All for it to have been a trap. I honestly think that nobody could've ever seen that coming. Plus, your interactions with your opponents really made it seem like you were just trying to get away from them.

While I was talking, I mined a furnace filled with cobble with the smelter’s pick. That instantly smelts everything inside.

There's pistons in the hole that are activated by pressure plates which push them into the middle block.
