    So sad that all these malls are just sitting empty. They used to be bustling with shoppers. I wish our empty mall would do a yard sale. You got great buys. :)

    Put the onions in the freezer for about 30 minutes before cutting. It will keep the juice solid and no tears

    Great finds! Loved seeing all the antique stuff for sale. Frye boots were a score! I had a similar pair in the 1970’s.

    Burn a candle by you when cutting onions or cookin even hot mustard. My eyes do not burn👍👍

    Those boots were definitely a nice pick up. I would not have thought the frame tool was so expensive, thanks for the tip.

    LOVE those Frye boots. I’ve sold a couple pair of Frye’s myself.I’m always on the lookout for them because they bring a pretty good profit. My problem is that sometimes I like them too much and decide to keep them. 😂

    One thing about cleaning leather that’s a must… brush the leather first to loosen and remove dirt before washing.

    We have a couple of those “electric” coolers. There’s an adapter to use where you can plug it into a regular outlet too. We used it when we moved cross country and used to take it when we went camping.

    Frye are my favorite boots I found a pair of harness boots for $20. I bought a new pair for $270 years before. They are so comfortable, too.

    That lamp behind the frye boots is to die for. The Frye boots are nice too but that lamp oh my goodness. It has a fiberglass lampshade on it.

    If you burn a little gea cup candle close to where your chopping the onion you will not cry at all. It burns the gas from the onion. It really works.

      The doll that you are talking about in the video isn’t a Aunt Jemima. They were souvenir dolls from Guatemala and down in Mexico area. I have one similar to that in an orange dress with Guatemala partly on the dress.

    The sale in the old mall had so many nice items. You picked up a Napa auto parts hat. It was signed by Chase Elliott. Napa is one of Chase’s sponsors. Don’t know how much they were asking, but it might have been a good pickup. The chopper is great. If you see a Pampered Chef chopper, that would be good too. We have one that is still good after 20 years! We found that sweet onions do not make tears as easily.

    Tell Kayla to cut the onion in half and peel off outer layer and let it sit for 15-20 mins, then run under cold water before chopping. It releases the juices that make you cry. Then, just chop like normal.

    I learned from a chef that if you do not cut off the root end of the onion, it won't release the chemical that makes you cry. Cut the onion in half and slice it up to the root end. This really works.

    My parents had an antique store as a side Hustle. They would take old magazines and frame some of the lovely art. They had the machine to make the frames themselves and yes that thing is expensive. Glad you found it

    Man I only got about $35 out of my vintage Frye Campus boots. They were lighter tan, and didn't have the decorative stitching...
    No, holding your mouth open while you are chopping onions does not help! 😀

    I'm a dog lover. Kiss that baby on the top of the nose from me. One woman on here said squeeze some lemon juice on your cutting board so you don't cry when cutting onion. She used a wood board. I'm going to try it. Soon as you passed up on Frey boots, I said nooooo. Glad you purchased them. Blessings Always

    I put my onion in the freezer for five minutes before you cut. It really helps with no more tears.

    Just be careful with using chemical guys car products with leather shoes. But especially older leather since car leather is much different than leather in shoes most times

    Nice finds. Hey, when you peel an onion, put water in your mouth, I used to peel tons of onions when I worked on my dads restaurant. I guess you won't need to do that cause you got a chopper now. Lol.

    For cutting onions put a match stick in between your teeth or put it in the freezer for a few minutes = no crying 😢
