Haha, yeah, Robocop always stood out when we were actually there, and when I was stitching the clips together.
Thanks for the visit, I am one of the engineers behind the scenes, yes we still working on Star Wars but it is also difficult to keep the machines running, our new area upstairs is still work in progress, the actual space we have is double what you saw. Calibration yes we need to keep on top of that, problem is wear and tear and parts then need to be replaced and its a repeative cycle, if anything you saw needs some work let me know. Hi Dave, great to hear from you. We had a great time at the arcade, just wish we had more time there. You're all doing a stellar job, keeping these machines alive for older, and new generations to experience.
I appreciate the age of this cabs and the constant work needed, parts, etc.
I first became aware of the arcade through Alex's RUclips channel (now called Arcade Archive).

Looks a cool place that Clay, really like seeing Outrunners, don't think I've ever seen that in the flesh, shame Star Wars not working, that's awesome, played that at arcade club 👍✌️

Mate, it was a real shame about Star Wars. I do remember (vaguely mind you) playing in that same cab before.

Just echoing what Dave Repairs said. I'm also the other part of the repair team and we are all glad you had a awesome time ❤. The upstairs does have a bar but it needs a complete renovation, but we will be selling alcohol in the future once we finish the 2nd phase of upstairs work. Star Wars has been a uphill struggle getting it running, myself and poor Dave has spent many (more than me) hours working on it but it wouldn't last long before it went down again. We try and keep as many machines running as possible but it is a game of whack a mole, you fix one another machine goes down 😂. With the controls, like Dave said are wear and tear and we try and replace or fix them ASAP once they get reported. I did notice the ugly blue Mario cab, that stick is just bad and we can't inside that cab to fix it 😅. With the cocktail cabinet next to Arkanoid, I replaced both joysticks with new Zippy sticks on Saturday 6th so you may have just missed them going in 😊. Thank you for the awesome video and giving our arcade exposure, we hope for you all to visit again soon.

It was a great time Luke, just didn't have enough time there. I intend to revisit for sure.
I can imagine these cabs are a nightmare to keep in tip-top condition, especially that Star. Wars cab as it's so old now. Kudos to you all for undertaking this and providing the glorious arcade experience for younger generations to experience. I'd love to see a decent arcade open up in my home city.
Keep up the great work and I hope you go from strength to strength.

That was my first attempt being filmed on 1942, so not great. Used to (and still do) love it in the arcade. Come on Steve, you loved seeing it really?! Hahaha.

Yep, it was Manx TT Ed, good fun but needed more time with it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Hey never knew about this place just up the road. I'll have to pop up there sometime, like you say shame it isn't licensed. When you're up Taunton the Megabowl has a pretty decent looking more modern arcade section where you ca enjoy a beer, we were bowling there recently and if we'd had time after I already had my eye on a few of them machines, haha.

I recommend visiting mate. I heard back from the owner, who saw my vid. Said they were opening the upstairs with consoles AND they’re getting a license to serve booze. 👌
