I really love your Channel I'm originally from Toledo suburbs and I must say that's all I ever had was a brand-new Sportster I bought it back in 82 when I was stationed at Killeen Texas I learn an awful lot from that Sportster and I surely would seriously thinking about building another one with a hardtail frame and a solo seat I just subscribed to your Channel I want to go back through and check out what you guys have built already and you guys are really inspiring me right now I'm sitting in Gainesville burn unit with a big hole in my leg hopefully be home by the end of January on the road to recovery I'm sure by that time you guys are have me just going crazy in my mind what I want to do and what I want to put together but I really like the way you guys work very knowledgeable you guys have a lot of fun and thank you for the inspiration
The way you guy were clowning on shop names is hilarious.. I think everyone goes through that second guessing wishing you used “mad dog three phase lathe machine” as a cool guy chop shop name
I REALLY wish I could have made it to Fuel Cleveland (my old home town). I wanted to meet you guys! Thanks for the show highlights and comments! That Sporty chop is prime! Thanks for featuring it! It just needs a front brake (seriously). I dig that riser/bar combo. The fit and finish are boss! Christmas came really early for you guys (thanks Greg!). Build right. Ride safe. All the best this upcoming holiday. Feel better soon. Prayers -- W
Just subscribed a few days ago, and I've already watched all the older videos. Awesome channel guys, keep up the good work! It seems like you guys love what you do, so it's easy to have fun and not consider it "work." I'm actually watching this at work right now. lol. Thanks for keeping me entertained, keep the videos comin!
I have a few chopped ironheads. Building another now rather slow though . 3 years and my roller is almost but not quite done. Its hardtailed already I did that first. Then I came across a denvers front end. Rigid forks! 10 inches over stock. Sooooo now its got 55 degrees of rake to work with that. 21 inch front wheel with no front brake. I have a mustang gas tank. Oil tank that is maybe yes maybe no. Bad ass ol skool king queen seat that sat at my uncles house for 20 dam years but he gave it to me finally. My left leg is prosthetic so the plan is to run a disk brake on the back and put the control on the handlebar. I have a 1973 motor and thats important since its right side shift. I cant work a gear shift with my artificial limb. so 1973 works for me. Right side shift. Brake lever for rear brake on handlebar and Im good to go. I have a bobbed late 84 sporty and for that one I fabbed a heel toe shift . I can push down to shift no problem. It works but my plan is to switch it to a hand shift and put the clutch lever on the shifter. Rode it yesterday because my oh so modern reliable twin cam WOULDNT START. When I got home my cool repro ford rear light didnt work and my glass lense was broken. Hmmmmmmm. Replace that bitch! Turns out my Dyna just needed a battery . Battery had been in it since 2018! OOPS DUHHHH. Its been slow to start at times and I was thinking compensator as TC motors are infamous for those going out. I already have a gear drive in it. I like my Dyna however its got no soul and it dont sound like a Harley LMFAO. But aint no shovel or pan or whatever ol skool gonna keep up with it. Its my daily rider. Im 58 years old and injuries in addition to my leg make me not wanting to turn wrenches all the time. I have a couple pans. A bad ass 71 Honda CB 750 chopper . A triumph thats chopped and will run great most of the time . Hey I made a 1981 Yamaha Virago into a chopper. That one always gets looks because most people dont know what the motor is. Oh I am slowly very slowly working on a 86 FXRT I picked up ;last year. I wanna make it a copy of Mickey Rourkes Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man bike. Its got a long way to go. I got from a meth head so FIRST i gotta undo all tweaker bullshit. Electrics are a mess on it. Burns oil and smokes like a diesel motor. Oh they had a vice grip attached to the shift shift because the splines are worn out . Yea great way to fix it to shift Gears. A year later I have replaced the clutch. shift shaft. added a heel toe shift. Replaced the primary chain tensioner. Both belt drive pullys and the rear wheel. Rear brake caliper. the more I do the more shit I find wrong. It lives in my lift!!!! But its an FXR . Had to have it.
I lived it, all of it, and I have the battle scars to prove it. Where is your shop? Recently subscribed. Not sure why the Sportster gets a bad rap, they're good bikes. I see an early cam cover on that Knucklehead. Good luck finding a number side for your '36 Knuckle cases, it won't be cheap, and I might be able to help you guys out.
2 things: 1) You dudes are going up 500 subscribers a week! Holy Smokes! 2) That bike is BITCHIN. (Thank you God for the cool electric start)! OK, 3rd thing. Fiona is still the star of the channel.
How did you guys link up with Ghost and Patch!?! Ghost is the only other dude I see up as early as me in Detroit joggin while I'm on my coffee ride. Small ass fuckin world man. Cheers sons, yer videos are hilarious.
Hey guys I recently picked up this 2003 anniversary 1200 edition, it's stock as a monkey with brass balls except for the flat ass seat and the beamer lights some someone thought would be cute. Should I ride it as is or should a put on a clown suit when I do. By the way, I don't have brass balls. Do you have any suggestions, should I chop it rake it, or keep it !
