Plenty of games allow you to "respec" but you either need to find that one special item for each time or pay expensive and increasing amount of resource each time you respec. In a way, the respec in these game is merely there as a last resort. However, in black myth wukong, the game really don't care when and how often you resec and really allow you to try any build anytime you want!

I got fortunate. I only started a few weeks ago. I just beat the 2nd sister 😁. I don’t understand the rage people are getting from this game. Idk I’m not saying I’m the best but I’m also not spending hours stuck on a boss fight. Like YWS, Kang Jin star, and yellowbrow only took me 2 tries. The side bosses give me more trouble like the mad tiger, cyan loong cause he can almost one shot you at full health, and kang jin loong just cause the camera is terrible in his fight and his hitbox was hard to reach most of the time.
This game loosing goty, especially to simple platformer shows the total state of the industry and how biased and corrupt this parody of a show is. And you haven't even seen the craziest that this game offers. After you finished it, you will be thinking to live in a simulation, because that's the only place where it couldn't have won. Nothing last year was even on the same planet as this game. You even get 6 short excellent movies to go with it, in addition, the whole game is filled with beautiful and thought provoking and philosophical poems, it's so poetic. Show me a game that did all that with this quality.
Worse then that it was even an original platformer Astro bot sucks. Wukong delivered as an indie studio on their first big game and it was excellent! Better then any western slop!

Just finished this game after no life-ing for 100 hours. You’re going to love it. Don’t forget to touch some grass after you beat it. If you want the true ending, make sure to beat the hidden bosses in every chapter and visit the tapestry room in ch 3.

Hey goose really enjoying your lets play so far. If you arent already aware there are some things that are very essential to know that the game wont tell you. Black myth is massive with many hidden encounters and secrets (chapter 2 onwards especially). I would go out to say that around 35% of the game is made up of secrets. some arent too difficult to find but others are impossible without a guide or the internet. In chapter 2 there are 2 massive secrets that shouldnt be optional but they are and you definetely need to know about them. -SPOILER FREE The first secret is very, very essential and if missed you miss out on multiple amazing boss fights across multiple chapters of the game including one of the best boss encounters in the whole game!! This secret is impossible to find I have no idea why its so hidden as its virtually impossible to find for anyone going through the game normally, even if you explore everything you still wont find it. what you need to do is use the wight ability to headbutt a random wall, which is in a certain underground area where you fight (spoilers). No one would ever try this normally as there is no cracks or indication of anything on the wall (I recommend looking up a guide or video to find it). The other secret is very spoiler heavy and quite essential to the games story. all you should know is that you need to follow a certain questline, again no shame in looking for a guide if needed. There are other more minor secrets in chapter 2 which each end in some kind of boss/encounter so it will still be well worth your while (also equally as cryptic to find). From chapter 2 onwards many secrets persist throughout each chapter some minor ones and usually 1 or 2 huge secrets that are worth looking up a guide or searching for if you miss. Personally I find each chapters secret's get progressively easier to find (its mainly chapter 2 that has the most hidden secrets imo) If you do miss anything dont worry, you can always go back to the chapter and find it later. Even at the endgame you can do this there really is no missing out on anything (to my knowledge there is no deadline for when a questline moves forward/ends either).
It's fun to watch you play. And you need to learn how to do See Through with smash stance. That's how you become pro in this game. First you need to get some focus points ready.(Focus points are the small round dots on right side of screen. You earn it by doing light hits, or dodge attacks if you have the talents point for it.) Then you make sure you have energy. Then one light hit first, and heavy attack (just one short click, don't need to hold long to charge) at the moment the enemy hit you. You need to click the heavy hit at the very moment that the enemy is about to hit you. Not before they started the movement, not after they hit you. So when you click the heavy hit at the right moment, you will be immune to the coming hit and do damage to enemy. You can even use the see-through to dodge aoe damage. For example, when the boss is far away from your hit range, you can still do this. Light hit to the air, then heavy hit when boss is about to throw damage to you. So you can do a see-through without hitting the boss, but you dodge an incoming damage. There is a similar skill in thrust stance Offense in Defense (this is much easier, you don't need to do the heavy attack at right moment). If you get used to switching between smash stance and thrust stance to do see through and offense in defense skill, you will fight like Bruce Lee.

Get the big rat as low health as possible without killing him. Then take out the dad (the little one) then defeat the big rat. He gets enraged when you take out the dad first so you don’t want him enraged with full health. If you kill the little one first, you unlock something.
But killing the big rat first has a betterf cut scene. I wouldn't worry about this one spirit in first run anyway. To achieve 100%, second run is required anyway.

Like the other person said, it takes two runs to complete the game anyways, three if you really want to 100% everything since you get the Wukong stance after the third and you need to complete the game twice to get the full Bull King’s set. It’s easy enough to get the rat prince summon on your second playthrough.
is cool to see how different pplz struggle and succeeds on different bosses. i guess playing style factors alot in boss fights. I beat the snake guy in 4 tries but took like 12 tries to beat the final bear boss. i m at the end of chapter 2 rn and so far my favorite boss fight is the mad tiger.
Few of them in chat really have no clue what they talking about, like the two who told you to kill the son rat first. If you do that you missed out the spirit, you should kill the father first when the son health is very low. Also you should go back to chapter 1 you missed the frog boss and 1 secret boss after you obtain the key item in chapter 2

Dont know if you noticed but his second stage life regenerates after he gets below 50% health. So if you are too defensive he will just keep healing and healing.
Reignite all the sparks put it all into smash stance. You should be able to get 3 point focus. Heavy charge all three run to white clad, let it rip. When you’re up close, use your spirit head butt him. Then immobilize and staff spin to build focus and chi for your spirit again. Rinse and repeat. Idk if I got lucky but I beat white clad second try.
I remember my 1st playthrough... Whiteclad Noble almost got me to quit this game. I lit stopped playing for a week. I was so frustrated that I couldn't beat him.

It should not take more than 5 attempts to defeat white clad noble your first time . If he was playing on NG +++ then it would be more justifiable. He hadn't figured out to let white clad noble to charge him , Dodge him then punish . Instead he continues to play this game like it's a mindless button masher. I can't watch this. All he needs to do is let white clad normal come to him , Dodge his charge attack then punish . Instead he keeps chasing him over and over again, thinking he might get a new result. This is early chapter 1 should be breezing thru most . If he manages to get to the black bear he probably won't even get the fire vessel . Hes doesn't know how to use his transformation's focus moves

So probably going to get hate but understand i love this game but it didnt deserve goty it updated just before with a map and the boss rush/rematch Pros: beautiful well flowing combat difficult but not to challenging varied outfits and weapons and diffrent builds abundant good story Cons: to complete game rng and guides are mandatory for example the loong scales without internet would you have thought to break a wall to go through it to collect a game spanning quest item then theres the issue of finding them the skandhas could be found by exploring same with buddha eyeballs but mad tigers rattle drum quest how would you figure that out without a guide/map chapter 6 is purely stumble around till you find a boss the proto armour worm quest story is very confusing without any prior knowledge even with it can jump around combat can get repetitive after awhile once youve found your rythm but that a common issue in alot of combat games Theres probably more for both pros and cons but im tired and cant think of em im past ng+6 which is the difficulty cap ive beaten all boss rematches and gauntlets ive also 100% the game with all armor that can be upgraded upgraded to mythical all spirits max tier ive done everything i can for the moment in it

Your just barley scratching the surface there are hundreds of more bosses much more difficult than Whitclad Noble. Black Myth Wukong is not for everyone. Only 8% of people who bought the game out of the 20 Million copys sold were able to beat the Game once. And if your not going for the True ending then everything Wukong sacraficed was in vein . Even fewer gamers were able to permanently unlock Wukong stance ( 3x true ending each cycle harder than the previous ) and even fewer Plantnium along with Gaunlet challenges. If your going to keep playing quit talking about how great you are at the game be humble because your really embarrassing yourself . I'd rather watch some one fail , but be humble and persistent and slow a willingness to learn then to pretend to be cocky. Maybe trade this game for something easy like Star Wars Legos. You said there is only one way to play your way locking in , how's that going for you ? Stuck on a early chapter 1 mini boss

The key is to put EVERYTHING into Mana, and Focus points. Do that and you will get ahead faster

I watched both episodes and love them! Here is a small suggestion: try to be as agressive as you can! It's more fun!

So probably going to get hate but understand i love this game but it didnt deserve goty it updated just before with a map and the boss rush/rematch
Pros: beautiful well flowing combat difficult but not to challenging varied outfits and weapons and diffrent builds abundant good story
Cons: to complete game rng and guides are mandatory for example the loong scales without internet would you have thought to break a wall to go through it to collect a game spanning quest item then theres the issue of finding them the skandhas could be found by exploring same with buddha eyeballs but mad tigers rattle drum quest how would you figure that out without a guide/map chapter 6 is purely stumble around till you find a boss the proto armour worm quest story is very confusing without any prior knowledge even with it can jump around combat can get repetitive after awhile once youve found your rythm but that a common issue in alot of combat games
Theres probably more for both pros and cons but im tired and cant think of em im past ng+6 which is the difficulty cap ive beaten all boss rematches and gauntlets ive also 100% the game with all armor that can be upgraded upgraded to mythical all spirits max tier ive done everything i can for the moment in it

Hey if you bought a physical copy of Black Myth I will buy it from you if the price is right . My copy is digital just let me know thanks. Your just barley scratching the surface there are hundreds of more bosses much more difficult than Whitclad Noble. Black Myth Wukong is not for everyone. Only 8% of people who bought the game out of the 20 Million copys sold were able to beat the Game once. And if your not going for the True ending then everything Wukong sacraficed was in vein . Even fewer gamers were able to permanently unlock Wukong stance ( 3x true ending each cycle harder than the previous ) and even fewer Plantnium along with Gaunlet challenges. If your going to keep playing quit talking about how great you are at the game be humble because your really embarrassing yourself . I'd rather watch some one fail , but be humble and persistent and slow a willingness to learn then to pretend to be cocky. Maybe trade this game for something easy like Star Wars Legos. You said there is only one way to play your way locking in , how's that going for you ? Stuck on a early chapter 1 mini boss
