    SOLA was a brilliant record and should have been way more recognized for it. They had the Crue magic back. I wish they toured heavy and played the songs of the record.

    I've seen many, many rock bands live in my 50+ years, and Motley Crue tops the list.

    I saw the Crue back in 1987. They are still awesome. Been listening to them since 1981.

    I have listened to and followed the Crue for years. They were the first concert I had ever seen. They kicked ass back then and are still kicking ass. It's great that Vince is sounding so good!

      I've been to the David Letterman many times over the years. They were super strict with not permitting standing up during songs, cameras, wearing hats or sunglasses and being loud. However, the sound there was great.

      @@tomt6142I was there several times. I live in NY. They said they have the right to take your phone if you take photographs. I did sneak in a pic lol But they were idiots about the rules. The sound at the Ed Sullivan theater is second to none. Very good!

    haha I love the way Letterman's audience is just sitting there not moving while Motley Crue of all bands is rocking out in full force in front of them. It's like their saying "Hmmmm now let's quiety observe LA's most notorious and loud metal band from the 1980's"

    This was about the last live performane where Vince annunciated all his lyrics correctly. His mumble period hadn't yet begun completely.

      Ed Mac I’ve noticed Vince tries a lot harder when they play on TV. They want to look and sound good to sell tickets. It’s all about promotion and once they’ve got your money, they probably feel they can do whatever

    Vince always sings new songs better than old songs, because they're fresh and he doesn't mumble as much. He hasn't sung them a million times. I remember Howard Stern the next day raved about this performance and played this song and everyone in the studio loved it.

    i'm impressed, my jaw still open. i have a son who's 2 years old and when i played this song on video or the cd he's trying to sing and try to play drum with his fingers, clap his hands when the song is finish and touch the computer keyboard to play it again, cool my son will be a metal head MOTLEY CRUE likes the children too LONG LIVE THE CRUE

    The song and performance are fucking awesome.....reminds me of Crue back in
    '84 when I saw them open for Ozzy. Amazing reincarnation for this band. Mick Marrs can barely walk but the guy is fucking awesome. Vince, Nikki, and Tommy all sound great. You know, I just might have to see these guys again live! Haven't seen them since '87 but I'm ready to rock.

    They sound way better now than they did back in the day. I was still a kid when they were in their heyday they didnt sound good Vince kept missing lyrics. but, then again they were all on some serious drugs and alcohol. good to see them back.mick mars always had that Motley crue attitude to me. just his energy and attitude when he was playing was soo punk
