(If you own the same model (50 inch only) get the warranty extended or sell it off and buy a new tv check video comments for how many people have faced the same problem)
Seeing how people are still facing issues, i have reached out Samsung support do check the tweet and add in your story for support.

Update 1 : Samsung support has raised a repair request to replace the panel .
Update 2: Due to this model being discontinued panel is not available , Samsung provided me a voucher value of 83% purchase value of the tv , Voucher validity 3 Months.
(Samsung Engineer confirmed only 50 inch models of TU8000 series has this issue,Be warned)
Update 3: Used the voucher to purchase Samsung 55" AU9070 on march 31st 2022
Extremely disappointed in how fragile Samsung tv have become they barely last a year. - Игры
Hey All, i am shocked to see even after years people have bought this flawed tv and got the same issue , i have reached to Samsung support on twitter on this, do add in your story on the tweet . Lets see if you can get some help.

2023 update - Shocked that people still are able to buy this flawed model , shame on samsung for still not taking any action...
2024 update - Insanely shocked that this model is still around and people are yet made to suffer with their poor reliability with no fix from samsung...
Same issue here. RIP Oct. 2020 - Jan 2023. This tv replaced an LG that had a reboot issue. I'm moving on to Sony x80ck from Costco. Includes a 3 year warranty. All the tvs at Costco seem to have a much better warranty.
Seems like they planned for this for sales
Selam azerbaycandan yaziram samsung 50TU 8000 acilib kapaniyor ekran bizde tamiri yok diyorlar neden tamir olurmu?
Same happened to me today - was working fine and then had this issue start happening. TV is just under 2 years old, absolute joke... our last TV lasted us 10 years and was still working when we bought this pile of crap
Try disconnecting the panel lvds cables large flat white ones, see if the tv boots up properly, if it does plug one side back in and see results if it powers up fine you know which side is faulty, then use a bit of sellotape about 1 cm wide and block of the lines on the flat cable start from the top about 6mm in
Unfortunately samsung took back the tv , hope someone else can try this
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound hopefully thanks for getting back to me
ok

THIS WORKS!!! You saved me from replacing my TV! Thank you!
Same exact problem I am having except I got this TV a year ago and have no warranty. Samsung should offer the option of a discoount to anyone who owns this TV and should have some sort of recall because eventually, all of these models will fail.
Yes i cant believe that they are selling this TV with such a fatal flaw !!!
Same issue with same model. Had changed screen panel after 1 year + purchasing under warranty. And after 8 month it repeating again, unfortunely the warranty already ended. Samsung very suck.
My tv started having lines and it's getting more and more ...even i don't have warranty.. samsung service people are saying change the pannel and it cost over 20k...any suggestions?
How old is the tv?
My new tv restart in running codition...
Same model Same problem. I have purchased this one on 27th March 2021. After 3 months faced same issue and Samsung Bangladesh had replaced the tv with the same model. Now today after 20 months I am facing the same problem. Already complained. I am too much disappointed! I will never buy a Samsung Tv again. Sony and LG tv is better than Samsung! 😑😑
Hi if this is in warranty ask for a money back to purchase a different samsung model , if you replace again with 50 inch tu8000 you will face same issue
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhoundThey tried to replace with a new panel but I declined the offer. I told them that I want refund or another new model. Now the issue is under processing......
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound I also asked for refund. But they confirmed me that money refund isn't possible. I have 3 months panel and 3 years service warranty left. Let's see what's they do.
Same problem..Is it display issue?
1.5 years and it started doing this, shocking how common this problem is. tried everything from new outlet to taking batteries out of the remote. what's the tape fix?
i would directly take it to samsung service center or reach out to them on social media aka twitter , remember you still have 6 months of panel warranty left. You can also show them that this TV is flawed outright with this video proof , they will at least provide some refund.
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound thank you. i ended up replacing it out of frustration but i haven't thrown it out yet.
Ekran panel arızalı
Same Tv model and same problem … took me way more time than u but still its sad to see such an expensive tv to go bad… is there any solution or display board i can buy to fix it?
The model is out of production it will take a long time and costly since you have get it fixed from samsung. Better to recycle and buy a new one
Same model and same issue. Purchased in Dec 2020 and it started giving trouble in Oct 2022 then it got fixed while i cleared cache and reset Smart Hub. But again the problem arised few days back, Samsung Engineer came and unplug the panel cable and after restart it worked for few days. Unfortunately after just completing 2 years the problem started again. Please help
This model pretty much is cursed to fail , try to contact samsung and see if they can offer a voucher to buy another samsung tv
I have the UN50TU8000FXZA and only had it for 1 year and 5 months and am having the same issues
This has to be the worst model samsung has released , i have heard people say their tv has lasted for generations....
I have also the same problem with my Samsung TV UA50TU8100KXXL after my warranty have expired about 2 months. I have bought them two sets and both of them have the same issue. Who can help us? they keep turn on and off.
ruclips.net/video/oCOI_DuYYws/видео.html
contact Samsung support directly you should still have panel warranty
Discover this video years later .. and yeah it is the same old issue as well for my tv.
we really got screwed buying this during covid
4th jan 2021, 31st march 2023 so just over 2 years a £500 quid TV. ALL my tech gear is Samsung but from this point on, i'll be using a different TV manufacturer. Way to instill customer loyalty Samsung.
Yeah terrible support from samsung these days
Experience this right now. I purchased it in 2021, and now its giving trouble in 2022.
seems like they created terrible quality products during the covid times
Same problem
What to do bro if it happened after warranty...my tu 8000 same model issue same after 2 years
Pretty much out of luck if its happened after two years, can try the following
1) Contact samsung support for panel replacement but its not worth it
it is known this model has a high panel failure rate so it will fail again.
2) Take the TV to any local repair shop and see if they can fix it cheap then try to exchange for a newer model.
I have the same issue! Got our tv (brand new) TU8000 series from bestbuy last Nov2020. Now Jan2023 suddenly it turned off and wont on again. Only a flashing red on tv, goes on and off. Then the screen turned on but only black for 1 sec then off. Blinking red again, repeat. Tried different solutions on google, unplugged it for 30secs. Hold the power button for 15-30-60-secs. Plug back in. Nothing happened. Same thing. What can you recommend guys?
If its out of warranty , you are out of luck if you had bought a extended warranty could have gotten some cash back.
There is no point in fixing the panel as it will cost as much as a new TV and will fail again
It’s Display glass shot. You need to replace display panel glass it will cost u 30000 to 45000 depends
That's almost the price of the tv
oh my, just after the warranty was over my tv got the same issue, very dissapointing...
Ya I am also facing problem, please any suggestions
There is no fix sadly , As per samsung they will offer a % refund depending on the age of your tv, if your tv is in warranty get it replaced asap
UA50TU8000 model had it for 2 years exactly before gaving the same issue.
A lot of tech told me its the common problem with samsung smart tv's. Its like its pre programmed to do it afting having it for a year or 2. -_-
Tech found a solution. It has something to do with covering the pin connectors to fix the problem.
some uses the tape method.
wow
did the tape method work ? if you can post some details on it , it would help people here

Omg :( I can't believe people are also experiencing the same problem with this TV. Mine is already 2+ years and service will check on it this week. Hopefully it's not that expensive, i barely even use this TV
Yeah see if you can exchange it off for a voucher or different model
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound unfortunately they charged my 12,000 php for repair. No way i'm gonna do that so not sure how but i'll probably resell it or something
Thank God I found this video. Our Samsung just did this today. I unplugged it, my wife looked at it up and down to see if it was cracked somewhere. Nothing, just kept restarting.
Is the tv in warranty ? get it checked with samsung for replacement asap
Mine is less than 2 years old. Same model and same issue. Don't waste your money and buy something else.
And another one bites the dust. Last Samsung purchase I will ever make. Great TV when it was working but this is a joke.
A lot of people fell victim to this particular model during the covid times
oh goshh... i went to the shop to buy the 50'' model and then I chose to buy the 55'' one... ig the 55'' wont get the issue.. and my tv is almost 2.5 years old and still works fine...😐😐
Hi Late reply but only 50" model has this issue , i know a friend who has the 55" model of tu8000 no issues in it.
I’m having a similar issue rn, but my display will stay on for about 30 seconds and then it goes black and reboots.
It going to fail and reboot faster soon, how old is the tv ? if less then 2 years contact samsung support
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound it is out of warranty, but I was able to get it back to normal by doing a factory reset. I had trouble because the tv kept restarting every 30 seconds so I had to be quick. It’s been working fine since then
I have the 8 series Samsung tv got it in 2020 and it does this almost once a week while my Vizio D series from 2015 is still going strong and has yet to do this bull crap which is funny as Vizio is considered inferior when compared to Samsung I will be replacing it with a Bravia and will never buy another Samsung tv again till that’s the only brand available
I am facing same problem what is solution plz ans
i would directly take it to samsung service center sadly this requires a panel replacement which will surely fail in a year or replacement of TV
i have same model and same isue.. but 55inc
Our samsung qled 50in just did this! Purchased last oct 2020, then i was shocked that it just kept restarting 2 days ago. Samsung engineer said, i need led screen replacement. I was not even using this tv much in the past 2 years! :( booo!
This TV model has a major flaw samsung should have recalled the model , check with samsung if they can offer a discount towards buying a new tv
Hey man how did you get 83% Price of tv, was it under warranty ?. If not how can I get that offer ?
It was only under panel warranty since they could get a replacement they offered 83% of the money back
Has anyone paid for this repair, if so, rough cost?
My tv gots line and services people are saying to replace the pannel and it cost over 20k
30k around
how to fix this problem ?? 😢 My Tv is TU8000U after 2 years
Hi Please raise a support ticket with samsung, their engineer will come and inspect , if out of warranty also agree to their charges to visit they will provide a solution
Same here after 1.5 years
Sad to hear this , This Tv has a major flaw that is never going to be fixed and still they are selling it . Do reach out to samsung support there is still 6 months of panel warranty left on your tv.
The same problem after the warranty ran out. Have you found a fix yet?
Hi The fix is to replace the display panel but for this particular model they dont have in stock if you contact samsung they will offer some refund
This give me a hope for my tu8000 tv bought last 2020. Currently talking to samsung customer service now.

Holy cow this has to be the worst model that samsung made but yet bought by a lot of people...

Same issue for me. It was working fine in the morning but suddenly stopped after a few hours. Only used for 1 year and 4 months

My TV recently started doing this.
Is the tv in warranty ? get it checked with samsung for replacement asap
mainboard issue
the samsung engineer opened the tv mainboard was fine its the display panel thats gone, common issue with this series
Same issue with my tv any solution found
hi sadly there is no solution for this issue , this 50 inch tu8000 has this defect , raise a support ticket with samsung they will provide replacement if in warranty
I have same issue
Unplug Tv from your power outlet. Press and hold samsung down button ( do not use remote control) for at least 30sec, then plug the Tv back in and once more hold samsung down button until your TV get start in normal mode.
My tv has no down button, only a power button
@@jabariwilliams8247 ok power button that what i mean.
The samsung engineer also tried that but the tv was just continuously rebooting
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound maybe motherboard problem.
@@brankocerne2637 its the display panel as per samsung and they dont have a replacement so they will offer refunds
Same, I'm with mine a little more than a year
This model specially 50 inches is a disaster , you should still have panel warranty get it replaced and insist for quick replacement so that they will offer money back instead
@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound right even I am facing the same issue in my 50 inches 4k crystal display samsung tv...
What are the charges for the resolution??
First time I bought a Samsung tv (I’m a Sony addict). Less than 2 years later, he is dead.
Disgusting!
Pretty much regretting going into the samsung tv's , next time will stick with android tv's like Panasonic or sony
Same issue, did you find a resolution
No unfortunately as per Samsung engineer who visited, this model has this flaw and its out of production so no replacement either, i got a voucher for 83% value of the purchase to buy a new TV, if you have this model get it replaced ASAP
Same issue as mine. Technician said the LED panel was faulty, causing the TV to restart in loops. My unit is only a little over 1year old and turned out to be out of warranty. I regret buying it, bad product.
@@louisdean i faced the same issue my tv was also out of warranty but since the panel has additional 1 year warranty they should give you a voucher/cashback for 83% value of the tv price , escalate it to samsung hq. Again tu8000 50 inch variant has a major flaw that other screen size in TU do not have it is known to samsung people, Do not buy this model , if you do get it replaced asap
I have a 65" with this issue too. There are some videos on youtube from mexico that show how to solve by cutting panel traces. Turn on google translate
@@KyleSand Its better to get the tv replaced by samsung or get a refund if possible these are fragile devices and i am not sure a fix would last long

Contact samsung support asap , what is the status of the warranty ?
То же самое. Завис и перезагружается.
Masalah sama jangan beli lagi..
The same thing happened to me with the tu8000 model after 15 months .. the worst model ever
You should have Panel warranty still , see if you can claim a replacement from samsung or a voucher to buy another TV
i have the same problem😢
Damn its shocking to see people still facing this issue, how old is your tv ? if its less than 2 years you can still go for the panel warranty for replacement but this model is flawed for sure.
yes, less than 2 years .

@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound cut ckv signals on life side.
BAD DISPLAY (SCREEN)
yeah and worst of all replacement takes ages
Personally recommend dont buy samsung brand #samsung
Were you able to fix it?
Hi there is no easy fix unfortunately as the only fix is provided by samsung is to replace the display panel but you can see from the responses here this model panel durability is one of the worst ever so expect it to fail again soon, The only way out is the below
1) if your tv is in warranty get it replaced and sell of the tv for a newer one this model is doomed to fail
2) if not in warranty but if it has lapsed by a few days/months try to get a partial refund from samsung to buy a new tv, this is what i did
Abra a tv e isole algumas trilhas do flat cable com um pedaço de papel .
Ewa@@liquidsnakehpksfoxhound
Same had happened to me
It's extremely frustrating to see , so many people who bought this model have faced the same issue with no help or acknowledgement from Samsung, from now its better to buy a extended warranty for Samsung tv's
