    It looks a lot better in blue than it does in white doesn't it, in white it looks like a model 3 that has been stretched out of proportion.

      Blue does indeed standout, but could say the same on the other Teslas as you don't see many of them!

      @@TotallyEVi was going to order one in white. In the few days it took me to decide, i saw 20 white ones to every blue one. I ordered blue

    I'm waiting for bidirectional charging, for me that will be the game changer.

      Will be a nice touch for sure!

      @@TotallyEV When I can back up my home solar & battery storage with my car as well as charging my car from the home storage & running my home it will be time to get the whole package. V2V will also virtually eliminate the fear of getting caught short and running out of juice, just phone a family member, friend, neighbour or get a passing stranger to give you a quick boost, enough to get you to the nearest charger.

      Yes and no. Using the tesla as a backup would be nice but you are better off buying a powerwall. This will give you backup power or solar buffer all the time even if your car is not plugged in and will not discharge your car when you might need the energy. Also using your car regularly to use it to power your home will reduce the lifespan of your battery in your car. So it might look like a 2 in 1 solution but over the long run it would not cost that much more to just purchase the powerwall with all of its advantages. This is likely the reason why tesla has not bothered adding the additional complexity in its vehicles yet appart from cybertruck

      It’s available on the Cybertruck , it’s called power share , if you have a powerwall and a wall charger you do not need any other equipment ! I can not wait for cyber truck to come to the U.K. will be great, I am going to have a huge solar array 🙂 wind turbine the works 🙂

      @@TheTrinitygroup Thankfully the Cybertruck won't ever be coming the UK as it's too wide for the roads & won't ever get certified for use anywhere in Europe for safety reasons.

    Interesting demo had the 14 speaker premium audio, I cancelled my LR RWD order due Tesla telling me that the premium audio was no longer included in this model. Was a deal breaker for me after listening to the downgraded system in the M3. Can get away with it in that cabin but in the larger MY cabin it won't be good

    • @TotallyEV

      Thanks for sharing! It's certainly is a downgrade but even the stock system in the entry level Model 3 is pretty good, but still agreed with what you said.

      did they really adjust it for the LR version as well? Configurators still show 13 speakers+1 subwoofer. The standard range is indeed with less speakers.

      @Guido73 LR is the same across territories, at least from what I'm aware!

    I've tested it and the suspension and ride quality is such a shame...

      Indeed it's its biggest flaw. Wish the Adaptive system from the new Model 3 Performance was used on the Model Y.

    Why are lined door bins a good idea ? Less space and more difficult to clean seem downsides .

    • @Guido73
      @Guido73 5 дней назад +1

      I guess mainly the sound caused by items rolling around in the door bins is much less vs before.
