Always interesting finding out about these special little places. A windy and wet one, but still great to get out, especially when you have a buddy to share in the experience. Wonderful!
Thanks for sharing this fascintaing Southern Upland Way. Never done this! Cheers again. Wishing everyone success and happiness this week! Have a great week from Paul & Kathy in GB 🤝👍😊
Nice Walk Terry but it looked Gie Cauld up there never done the three brethren walk looked quite interesting think the view would have been so much better on a clear sunny day 👍🥃🥃
Hi Bill. It was actually ok but for a bit of brief light drizzle though it had started off not looking too great so the waterproofs went on then. We will be going to Traquair that way but with only one car we do a recce from each end. We found a good bench for a sit down for lunch after the brethren. But the view was non-existent . I suggested that when we come back we bring a pickaxe and a bag of cement and move the bench towards the brethren, lol! I'll let Donnie carry them :-)
We did the other end yesterday in glorious sunshine :-) Videod a bit on the way up and livestreamed part way back . Met a group of horse riders from Lanark Equestrian Centre which was cool! Thanks again.
Nice walk and amazing discoveries..
Glad you enjoyed it, Terry. Nothing fancy this time. :-) Thanks again.

Very true,Bruce. I thoroughly enjoy our little outings, even if the weather is so bad we just buy a snack and go home😂
