🧡 Johnny Gill and BBD both dropped their albums the same here and 1990. I just had my son and I remember his dad coming home with both CD's. TFS!

***JOHNNY GILL TRIVIA TIME!!** ....rub ON, Johnny.........(4:44).......keep strokin' it......
    - ...Oh, Johnny....so MUCH trivia on him! ....Johnny was Singer Stacy Lattisaw's next Door Neighbor, and (secretly) sung w/ Stacy...until she was BLOWN AWAY by his '...grown ass Man..' Voice (0:44)....She got him a Record deal in 1983; He had 2 1983 Albums that bombed (&, a slightly popular 1984 duets Album w/ Stacey)....they did NOT know what to do with him.....
    - .....and, Stacey was losing her popularity, too....until she signed w/ Motown records, & had her 1st #1 R&B hit (in 1989) w/ "Where Do We Go From Here" (which Empress mentioned), a duet w/ Johnny..... Johnny was asked to replace Ralph Tresvant (after they lost Bobby, too, in 1985), in New Edition, but Ralph stayed, and they became a *SUPERGROUP,* with the "N.E. Heartbreak" Album, in Fall 1988....
    - ....Johnny was asked by Motown to sign with them (Solo), in 1990, and....Oh, my GOD.....ba-BOOOM! ....Johnny was now a MAN (2:55), & having #1 hit, after #1 HIT, w/ his "Johnny Gill" Album (Summer 1990) (2:34); His mega-Classic "My My My" is his BIGGEST hit, although this tune was just as big, hitting #1 R&B / #3 Pop.... the remix had newer ad-libs, but the LP version was the more preferred, w/ Pop audiences....
    - .....But, by 1993, R-Kelly became THE ONE, and put Johnny out to pasture.....but he stayed in New Edition, and they became One the the most CLASSIC R&B Groups, since the Temptations......Johnny DID have the 'Magic Touch......

Empress you got that dance right😊. This is a New Jack Classic. Johnny and with that Grown Man voice has never changed. 💯 Great workout song. The remix is cool but I prefer the original single. Who knew that putting his vocals to New Jack would result in🔥.

The original had more feel to it and was more uplifting. But great artist whatever the case.
