Australia 7 Day: Central downpours track from west to east

- We have a “blob” of rain which will track from WA to NSW & QLD, and will also bring some wet weather to southern parts of NT and to parts of SA too. It looks to avoid VIC and TAS - which are more caught up in the westerly changes blowing south of Aussie.
We track Australia’s 7 day rainfall.
Our Flight Sim place of the week is Norfolk Island!
That "Blob" over WA will bring on a beautiful flower season!
So happy I found this channel, now my banter in awkward social settings is right on point.
Welcome mate.
Love it! Thanks :) Fun Fact: My entire company started with me saying something similar. I had to convince a radio station to believe in me setting this up (before I took it over) and the line I used was "Go one week without hearing someone mention weather in a random awkward conversation" and a day later the most skeptic person in the meeting said to me "That very afternoon someone in the lift told me how windy it was outside as soon as the doors shut".
Phil
Thank you TeamPhil🥰
I’m afraid it’s back to watering the garden😔
Can you believe it! Lovely sunny days I must say. Washing dry in a couple of hours. Mmmmmm here’s hoping that August will bring us some kind of wet weather😅😂👌👌
😊 thank you for the forecast hopefully some of that rain will reach Brisbane it's been dry in Wynnum
Hope I said it properly, and yeah it's not totally locked in but good to see something brewing.
Melbourne for the past two days has been blue skies, sun and no wind. Cold overnight, around zero, but 11 or so during the day. I'm happy. :)
Still no snow , cheers from Yeppoon .
And unfortunately Australia is the fastest moving continent. You're drifting northwards at 7cm a year so... Yeppoon's snow chances are decreasing.
Thank you Phil great work as always
Thank you kindly :)
Hi Phil from Lithgow NSW AU . Mate , love your work. I trust your weather forcasting more than the main stream media and BOM.
Thanks for what you do brother . Cheers
Thanks very much, super kind!
The excellent weather report, thank you Phillip.👍🏻
Thank you PJ :)
Well it is a cool day here in Cranebrook, 17C (north of Penrith), my g/daughter is celebrating her birthday along with the horses, mine is on Monday & so far it sounds okay but still colder than it has been over the past few years, but at least the wind won't be from the antarctic that day which is a blessing!! So have yourself a lovely weekend & I will be eagerly waiting for Monday's report.
Happy birthday to your g/daughter! :)
Granite belt Sth east Queensland here,we had minus -3 last night and 11-15 degrees during the day. Been like that for the last week and plenty of morning frosts. Was in Victoria a week ago and the nights were not as cold as it’s been up here. I think the weather was kind to me and my family while we were in Victoria for a week because it’s cold down there now. My son lives in Ballarat and he said it was -2 degrees this morning. I love cold weather and winter,I look forward to it every year. A true Queenslander wears Queensland slippers in winter-a pair of thongs ! We had -7 degrees for 2 nights about 4 weeks ago,if we had another 200 meters elevation it would snow here in stanthorpe regularly during winter with the right conditions.
Cheers once again WW,,, looks like a wet bike ride next week. Cheers,,,,,, Chris..... CQ
Thanks Phil once again great info.

Hey Phil, hoping _Mr Blob_ drops some rain our way....half an hour NE of Mt Barker SA. 😊
It's a coin toss. But to some those odds ain't too bad :)

2:56 The Blob!
"WonderPhil" report!
10/10 :)
The BLOB, isn't that a 1950s b grade scary movie starring a goo like substance that consumes all in it's way?
The 1988 remake was about as reliably good.
If only the continent was 5 to 10 degrees further south, we’d be getting lots of snow and rain.
I often think like that. "If only New Zealand was upside down and 25 degrees further south"...
Of course the relocation of the continental land mass would upset the current sea currents and replace them with something different (& we'd probably be left with a continent that is drier and colder, with less tropical moisture in the north....)
Hi Phillip, is it possible to momentarily flash a dot at the locations you mention?, I myself mostly have no idea where the places you mention are
Amazing, I had the exact same thought watching it back tonight myself. My biggest problem is that these videos aren't actually my main job! We squeeze them in between running the actual business. But will definitely improve upon this - just give us some time to build on it :)
@@WeatherWatchTV Ah good stuff mate, no worries
When is it going to stop raining in Ingham? It’s been raining here. Almost a year.
Not much on the way... drier into next week :)
Oil .priri..😮
A blob, a high, a high blob ... so not really depression, more like winter sadness trying to be more serious, a shower that would like to be a bath ...
So that's why I should leave the weather reporting to these experts at WW - thanks guys!
No, lol - that made me laugh. You said it perfectly.
Tell my cat.
Love it! Phil D
Next update 8/8/24
