Great sit down Michael. I’m 70 and alone. My parents and brother have passed away and I have nobody except nieces and nephews, but they have basically forgotten me. My biggest fear is living too long, losing my health, and having no one to help me. I’ve just started talking to a Christian therapist. But my faith helps get me through dark days. I know that eventually this life will end and I’ll be reunited with my family and see Jesus. Btw, love your beautiful dog. Animals are the one thing that bring me happiness. God bless you my friend. Stay safe. Love and respect from Tennessee. ✝️

Did you have financial. emotional help if did I apologize as I do view most of your videos The sit-down you had with the mob hitman showed very clearly the one with the intelligence and not the wild unintelligent bull in a China shop attempting to counter your words . Outstanding presentation! I went on a few deployments with the Army and still suffer from fear due to flashbacks, but fortunately I have a great doctor helping me. I honestly don’t know how I ran in to this channel; I think it was Jesus and the fact that I lived as a child in Brooklyn in the 70’s before heading back to Puerto Rico where I grew up. Thank you Sir for all your sound advice in these presentations; I believe they are making a difference in this crazy world we are living in. God bless.

I'm just curious as to what combat you saw exactly? According to your statement you were a kid when Vietnam was already over so it wasn't that and obviously there's no way you would have been in Iraq or Afghan bc you would be way too old.. I'm a Marine Corps combat battery in Iraq 2006 Somalia 2008, so I would just like to know what exactly you're referencing? Even Desert Storm wouldn't make sense simply because the lack of direct contact a normal Army soldier what is likely to encounter. That war was Swift and thorough, only operators and grunts specifically in the Marine Corps would fit that bill. It's not my intent to question somebody's experience with anything however I have a hair trigger when I get a whiff of Stolen Valor type situations... to be fair I guess you didn't technically say combat deployment but why you would have quote unquote flashbacks doesn't add up. Sorry🤷 either way, your donation to the show was awfully generous, kudos for that and best wishes towards finding peace, and that goes for all of us..

I’ve always thought that being fearful of certain things is actually showing bravery. There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Fear is a genuine survival emotion that kept our ancestors alive in the early days of man.

Fear and Depression. That combination can ruin lives, and the thing is that you personally might know better but the feelings are so intense that it's nearly impossible to break them by yourself. That sense of helplessness , as if you were in a steep walled container filling with water and a steel bar mesh preventing you from rising any further than a certain level. You end up needing someone to talk with you, to get a sense that life can continue and that there is something beyond your regular life. No matter how strong you are, you can't do it alone.

Mr. Franzese, this is my favorite of all the videos you have ever done. (My other favorites are the ones where you talk about food.) I am fearful about several things I have to do in the next two months that involve dealing with difficult bureaucracies. Things that used to be so simple before the digital age crept up and took over. Yeah, I'm old, about the same age as you are. This sounds like not much when compared to the fear that you will never get out of a cell, or other people you had to deal with in The Life. However, it's real and thank you for the words of encouragement and for sharing life lessons learned.

I have no family where I live so as I have learned there is no backup plan. I am the backup plan. Luckily I've applied for a home loan and was approved! Now though I have to try and find the right place and I have to be able to afford it. I've also got four new people starting at work tomorrow I'll work closely with, my oldest is about to start college which adds a certain sense of empty nest syndrome....but one thing I can say is I have God holding my hands helping me walk. It'll all work out I'm confident of that. Thanks for letting me get this out here in this forum. Whewww

@@stevekru6518 From what I understand, this is from a different kind of context. It doesn't mean you are never going to have any fears about things that could happen to loved ones, but you should have some confidence that no matter the situation, things are going to be okay and pray with Will and intent the child be healed and in God's hands, and try to keep your head in the right place. Try not to be angry and fearful, and blind your heart, and go off on a dark path that may make things worse. Pray for understanding and keep that love close. Fear is definitely something to overcome at times. I was a firefighter for @ 13 years and I wasn't afraid of getting killed but ending up in the burn unit or being disfigured and/or crippled in some way was a fear. But the call to help others outweighed that fear, I feared living with myself if I didn't put all I had into a rescue even more. I also feared for the patients/victims we were called to help a lot too, we want to make a difference and help people, not fall short. I've had some people ask how many people did y'all save in your years in fire/rescue service, I honestly don't know how many we saved I f made the difference on. But I can tell you and point out the spots for every one we lost, those are the ones that stay with you. Imagined fear is getting on a plane ✈ and thinking it's going to crash. That's irrational fear. It's the irrational fear that an individual needs to talk about with someone. That can hamper an individual from living a normal life. The orator was 100% correct discussing this topic.

Fear. I’m very much familiar with this monster. How many many hours and days have I spent during my 61 years in combat with this ugly guy. Thank you Michael for this sit down .. what a blessing - once again ✝️🤲

Thank you so much for this message… I have never feared much in life (to my detriment at times ) but since losing my dad I have been in fear over the most silly trivial things for a couple of years and this vid really helped putting things in perspective. Big love from London. 🙏🏼

Hi Michael, enjoy your video’s and proud to call you a brother in Christ. Sometimes we fear but thank God He has not given us the Spirit of fear but of power, of love and a sound mind. Keep up the good work you do.

Michael, i went through a similar experience with my twin daughters. Had to spend six weeks in the NICU. I usually only pray to God when there are things i feel are out of my control. I definitely prayed to him to watch over my girls during those six weeks and, thankfully, all went well. They turned 5 at the end of Feb and are two of the coolest kids I know. But i definitely felt fear for those six weeks. I agree those who say they've never been afraid are lying. I feel the same for those who say they have no regrets.

I’ve felt fear and I have definitely felt hopelessness and I totally understand what you’re saying. I’m not trying to copy your story but I felt hopelessness in prison and I asked god to give me the strength to get through it and he did. That’s how I know that he is real. Unfortunately I’m still a sinner but I have a good heart.God bless you Mike
