I have TD, and sadly stopping the anti-psychotics didn't help. I don't know that I want to try new treatment. I'll just live with the tics, rather than make something worse.
Yeah, they want to throw things like ssris and similar psyche meds. I have terrible anxiety and I really don’t benefit from those medications, but they would rather throw all these at me rather than put me on a lower dose benzo.
stop taking benzo's period. you can use microdose amounts of amanita muscaria for the benzo's effects to entirely stop using this harmful medication. but I suggest getting into the cold turkey mind set as soon as helpful. *i actually stopped using them myself because it gave me brain damage and black outs where I had to be constantly reminded of things I didn't remember doing. the doctors prescribing benzos for anti-depressants not anti-anxiety are truly evil. but It will help individuals who can not cope any other way, sadly, because it takes those peoples time from them and your time is more precious than you realize.
They have got to have better meds with less side effects. A reason in the past many did not take the meds was due to these terrible six. Thorazine shuffle? It’s a hellish thing for people dealing with this. I had a good friend with this and they finally got better meds.
they thought i had TD, then they said tardive dystonia. now they say i have treatment refractory tourettes with dystonic tics. the tardive medications all gave me acute dystonic reactions. In the process to see if i am a candidate for DBS surgery
I was gonna comment this on someone wanting to force their lover to use sli's (antipsychotic drugs) there is a chance it will give some people hallcuinations, twitching, seizures, and suicidal thoughts. the drugs I was given at nine, had a giant law suit almost a year after I stopped taking it at nine... anyone who takes anti anxiety medications like barbituals those also cause hallucinations in people with schizophrenia at low doses; and black out moments for any individual that takes them at abusive levels.
* *warning horror story* even more of a horror story about banned anti psychotic medications. my mother also (how ironic) was perscribed another (banned) medication that at the time had her attempting to kill me every day in some painful way. around a year prior to ME being perscribed another medication that was again banned... all mostly for the fact that I had to deal with her abuse. *edit I'm fine. lol. but no wonder I hallucinate, huh?
Just curious to know have u ever tripped on psychedelics before or DMT to be specific and if so, what were the effects of it? Did it intensify your hallucinations or did it quiet down the schizophrenia?
It was partially my fault but Rexulti sent me to the hospital with awful akathisia. They gave me an IV of Benadryl and Ativan and it went away and mostly hasn't returned. I was taking it as an add-on treatment for OCD/Anxiety.
Question, when you at home have these visual and audio episodes. Don't you think WTF is a stranger doing in my house? And does besides taking a camera or throwing an object at the visual hulusination, how about just touching it. Is that possible? And I wonder why are the voices ALWAYS NEGATIVE. On all the cases Ivey heard about its always negative. Why can't the voices say you look nice today ect. Looking forward for the reply

Someone mentioned cbd,, which I know also helps and sometimes cures involuntary epileptic movements as well
do you feel better now? For how many years you've been taking the medication.
The same thing happened to me when I was on anti depressants. I'm no longer on them, but I still have these same symptoms

I have movements of the trunk as they say and neither costly Ingrezza or Austedo worked.
