I always found her utterly charming in roles more akin to what Obratzova shines in and i'm shocked at how much I like her in something I've always associated more with dancers in the Smirnova and Tereshkina "category" of dancers. She is nice and cheeky, very stylish but in a different way. Reminds me a bit of Lauren Cuthbertson in the restraint.
Great comments and thanks for including some of my favorite dancers. Lauren can be very "cheeky" ❤❤❤They all bring something wonderful and unique to the ballet stage. 💖
That was my first impression, but I think it's as much the dance as the performer. The woman's part is set to a rhythmically steady almost stately tempo until the very end when it speeds up a bit. The part doesn't allow for much expression. Mostly, the Grand Pas Classique is a show technique. On this part Maria performed very well. Other examples I found here on RUclips show a similar expression by the woman dancing the part. Doing a comparison is part of the fun of RUclips. Many call this dance a crowd pleaser. I couldn't agree more, it certainly is that.
Мариюшка-красавица большое спасибо за радость, которую ты даришь нам своими замечательными выступлениями. Побед и успехов тебе во всем.

Agreed. I feel that she has more of a short dancer personality in a tall body. But the tall-dancer part of her does shine through in dramatic roles.
@@schokoladenritter7969 Ja! That's exactly what I thought!
Quanta precisão nos movimentos! Lindíssima!🙏❤️💐👏👏👏🇧🇷🖖
Absolutely beautiful!

Отлично! Пуантами здорово владеет! Желаем творческих успехов и главных ролей в наших лучших балетах!
1:38 I love how the dancers are clapping in the back 😂
Good for you🙂...to be honest, I don't like it...it distracts from the real performance...🤷♀️my opinion ofcourse...
ahhhhhhh Ahora entiendo porque las mejores bailarinas de ballet son rusas! simplemente subliminal
Только сейчас поняли?)

hi, can you post a video of vera shpakovskaya doing black swan pas de deux and the female variation of hers?
sorry, i'm not very familiar with her - where did she perform this? was it at mbc?
@@stretchribbon yes, in junior 3 round performing black swan pas de deux. she's also a student at vaganova before
okay found it! i'll upload it tomorrow :)
@@stretchribbon :)
My word, they take that slow!
Будущая прима!!!
👎👎👎She simplified the diagonal. Why make things difficult when you can make them simple.
Very clean and precise but there was no joy in her dancing.

Awful orchestration.
