    Bless you, Mrs. Dunham. You must be so proud of your grandson. Thank you for helping raise him to be such an amazing leader. He got my vote today.

    Came looking for this speech while reading his new book. It’s great to be able to connect what he tells you in the book to the real, raw, and emotional person that he really is.

    We can all relate. I know when I lost my last grandparent, Grandma Sarah Golden, I was crushed and unapproachable. Barack is a strong man to talk in front of a crowd after losing such a close loved one. He has to, as president he will face even greater challenges, but you've got to respect the man for showing this courage here.

    Having an opinion is one thing, making a hate filled, racist filled, or plain condescending comment on a video like this is inappropriate. If a close family member to McCain died and Obama supporters did this crap at this magnitude you'd blow up at people, and you damn well know it.

    So sorry to hear about your Gramma, Barack. The world grieves with you on her passing. She raised you well and I'm sure she was very proud of you. As you said so eloquently, she's gone home and you know in your heart, you made her very proud.
    Canada stands behind you 100% and we sincerely hope you become the next President of the United States.

    Poor man. I didn't know. This must be such an incredibly hard time for him. I can't even comprehend the sort of emotional roller coaster he must be going through right now.
    Obama has and continues to demonstrate so much strength and dedication to his principals and to his country. This is the man we need in the White House. Please remember to vote today.

    He's driving from city to city to city day and night, he's allowed the odd slip of the tongue. At least he hasn't called everyone his "fellow prisoners". If you open your mouth as much as politicians do you're bound to make some mistakes.

    his grandma's spirit is with him in these last 24 hours before we can officially reach the point of seeing Obama become the elected president of the U.S.

  • @musicphan1
    @musicphan1 16 лет назад

    Exactly. As a Christian, it irks me to no end when an extremist speaks up and says/implies that he speaks for all "true" followers of the faith. This definately goes for Islam, too. In both cases, the undereducated and disadvantaged buy into their dogma and support these causes of hate and violence. Extreme Islam is seems to be at a first look more violent, simply because more people are impoverished and undereducated than in the West, but both groups are highly dangerous.

    So where are you going with such typos? English is not my first language and i think i do well enough. I never claimed to be perfect. Still you are nitpicking with minor grammatical errors because you have no case otherwise. Aside from not using a space you didn't need to capitalize "and" after the semicolon. You would do well not to cast stones from a glass house.
    If you want to whine about irrelevant mistakes i'm here for you, i really am. Not everyone wastedtheir time as an english major.
