This might look like a silly product but it actually solves a problem that occurs on daily basis. Sometimes the things that fall in the gap can actually distract the driver causing accidents. I don't understand why they didn't get a deal from other sharks
I made sure to order these the week I was going to buy my first car and put them in the day I bought the car because I knew how annoying dropping stuff in the crack was just by being a passenger 🤣

amazing product, so easy to put on and its so adjustable to moving your seat, you cant even notice it's there before it matters when you drop something great product
Lori always has a good nose in a good investment.
I bought 4000 of these at steep discount and began reselling to everyone I knew. Only had 1 person say no and they didn't even have a car apparently

You would have to bought 80000$ worth and flipped it for atleast 100-120k. 4000 units for 20-40k profit, you would need to sell 1 unit. An hour for 2 years considering sleep time factor. With the amount of leg work and margins and money after taxes which would be required with 6 figures of resales, very unlikely :^)

you can literally just cut a pool noodle and put the seat belt receiver inside the hole, the pool noodle will block everything

Then you open your door whenever stationary and can easily pick up whatever you dropped.
Not to mentioned 90% are right handed and drivers will use their right hand to fiddle around with stuff.

That product already existed. It's not a universal fit. Products I've seen are not compatible with my car so for that reason I'm out

Always funny how the other sharks say “I don’t believe in the product” or “Not a fit for me”. This was an easy profit for the sharks and only Lori (and Kevin) saw the opportunity.
It’s more than that. These investors try to have synergistic portfolios. They want their name in a business to mean something. They dilute their personal brand power by signing onto things just to make money.
At the end of the day, they’re selling these products to consumers, and the value of the sharks is their name recognition in particular industries. Except Mr. Wonderful, who just wants to be a bank most of the time lol.

I think Mark put it best when he said it was a phenomenal product, but felt he wasn't the right investor for the job. At the same time why he directed them toward Lori instead, whose more suited for it-which was a more respectable way of declining compared to Robert and Daymond.

I just hate how they always say "Sales are king," "Only money talks," etc, but then they'll also say "You have the sales but I'm still not convinced." It can't be both. Barbara and Kevin don't really do this. Barbara is all about her gut instinct, and Kevin is all about the numbers, period. But Mark, Lori, Robert, and Daymon contradict themselves constantly.

i bought this from aliexpress 6 years ago for 2 dollar the pair. and it was not from this company, it was from china.
What’s the moat in this? It can be easily replicated and ripped off. Looked basic texture material with a hole in it.
