The vintage “Road Rally” looks great on Christy, I loved the wardrobe Mattel created foe her. We would dress up our AA dolls in matching outfits and they were our “Barbie as the Supremes”. Fun memories!
I have a TNT Julia and a Sunset Malibu Christie. They're GORGEOUS. My Malibu Christie came in a yellow one-piece swimsuit (later issue than the red/orange). I also have a few Julia outfits that I love. "Pink Fantasy" is perfectly named and looks incredible on Julia. I don't blame you for hanging onto those gorgeous girls for yourself. Wow! Christie is beautiful! I have never seen her before and am almost 60 yrs old! Brandie I grew up as the minority in my neighborhood and school. I can’t believe I never saw her! Thank you for showing me new things! You are such a beautiful woman yourself!
I have two Malibu Christies on the way. As a black doll collector, it's really hard to find these relatable vintage dolls as every other collector wants them. Since I'm in the U.K., it's been quite hard to find a passable Christie doll. I already have Julia so I'm not planning on buying the short haired version of Christie as I prefer Malibu.
Hi Brandi! Just subbed from Courtney’s Live (BoloBuddies). I was born in 1960 and still have some Barbies that have travelled with me in all my moves since I left Canada in 1982. Need to look at them more closely now since it might be time to downsize and let them go.

I am interested to know what kind of measures you take to be safe when going this route. I am also a female and would like to start posting ads to find people who might be interested in selling some of their things to me but safety is my concern. My husband travels quite a bit so I can’t have him escort me to a person’s house. Thank you in advance.
Great Question. Mostly I meet in public places. But sometimes I will get 1 or 2 regulars that I will meet at their home every so often until they're done selling. But I have driven far to just do porch pickups or porch meets.
