Tanjiro has such a better understanding and empathy towards demons because of Nezuko, understanding and emphasizing that they were once human. Poor Giyo almost had a blade to the head, that message came just in time! As much as I disliked Rui, seeing his backstory and then reuniting with his parents was a satisfying end to me!

Many of Kakushi members are the people who failed Final Selection of the Wisteria Mountain: Not all the failures died in Final Selection, but most of them retired to leave the mountain before 7 days pass. And some of the failures volunteer to be Kakushi.😊

Kindness takes strength. When you have kindness, it also means that you care and when you care, you are making yourself vulnerable to disappointment and exploitation. Tanjiro’s overt kindness can be a weakness but is undoubtedly also a strength of his.

24:26 you probably know already, but "Kochō" is actually Shinobu's last name. usually, the Hashira call each other by their last names for respect (generally, in Japan the last name is used more often than the first name, compared to most of the rest of the world where the first name is more important). for example, Giyū calls Shinobu "Kōcho", she calls Giyū "Tomioka-san" (last name plus an honorific), and the Sound Hashira calls the Wind Hashira "Shinazugawa" in Ep. 23.
A fun fact is that "Kochō" (胡蝶) means "butterfly" in japanese, so it suits Shinobu.
And please don't worry about mispronouncing the names, it's understandable and expected, it's a completely different language from both english and danish, and you both are respectful and actually make effort to pronounce the new words correctly so it's all ok. no need to apologize so much :)
also, i liked the discussion a lot, Kat was on point about a bunch of stuff and the long-ish(?) explanation of the danish language is much appreciated hehe
oh, and congrats for the sponsorship, guys! (and yeah, it's really easy to confuse manjū and mochi xd) have a good week!

Don’t worry Giyu you are well liked! We like you! 🌊
Kochō, which Giyu called her, is insect hashira’s family name. 🦋 Her first name is Shinobu.

Thanks for the language lesson at the end, very interesting. Also kill on sight rules make sense. You would want to avoid young demon sisters taking for the tricks of demons who might pretend to be weak, like the "sister" last episode.

Greetings from Okinawa!❤ Thing about Okinawa was that it was it’s own country before becoming part of Japan, so many things aren’t what you traditionally think of as Japanese. The tea is “sampin” tea, which is basically a jasmine tea. Congratulations on the sponsorship! Glad you’re enjoying this show too, great reactions as always.

Shinobu vs. Giyu should remind you of Inosuke vs. Zenitsu when it comes to one side wanting to do their job and kill Nezuko and the other side trying to protect her.

Sounds like Northern Ohio which has the saying if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes. One time driving from the Pennsylvania border to my home in Ohio about a 90-minute drive I experienced all 4 seasons - snow, hail, rain, fog, and sunny and hot.

Demon Slayers POV: Imagine you are a human at the apocalypse fighting against zombies who bite and eat humans. You used to do this for years alongside your friends, your comrades and even your loved ones WHO DIED ON YOUR ARMS at the hands of zombies. Suddenly a little kid comes to you with a zombie and childishly yells "tHiS ZoMbiE iS mY SiStEr, sHe wOn't BiTe, I sWeAr". Once you understand this, you can tell the Insect Hashira's intention of killing Nezuko with an unpainful toxin shows she is the most kind person ever.
