Selective swell and funky sand lit up combo breaks in Southern California early this week.
The early morning offshore winds and incoming tide provided a window of barrels during this Mild West Swell. Surfline predicts an improvement in the surf this week as a Mix of NW and S Swells Cruise into California.

Man the surfers at this spot are really talented/skilled.
I would've thought SD but even for videos at Blacks Beach I don't see, on average, this level of talent surfing it like this (at sand-bottom breaks in SD) usually on-film.
Not to say we don't have the high-level talent, it's just on AVERAGE I don't see a video with this many high-level surfers at a beach break in SD (at LJ reef videos I do, like at Horseshoes, or Big Rock, or Windansea).
If it is somewhere in SD, it's farther south I bet. And I won't keep saying too much haha.

Surfed it 20 foot alone. You’re always alone out there.
It kind of looks like the sandbars north of seaside. I scored that spot pretty good on a couple weird shorter period NW swells before.
