Guys, you keep adding cool stuff to the game, but make it functionally weak or useless, and therefore nobody every uses it and it becomes a gimmick that gets tossed to the wayside. Making oil pots not do much damage when they land makes them nothing more than a gimmick. And nobody will use them. Just like what you did with sorcery. You put all these dev hours into making sorcery, but you made it so weak and useless that it’s now relegated to an afterthought that nobody uses. The only aspect of sorcery anyone even bothers with is the teleport’s and the bat flight. So all those hours spent are wasted. You do this all the time. Corrupted build perks are terrible. Nobody bothers with them, because the base perks are way better. The majority of spells are useless and do not have a real function. They take forever to cast, and when they do get cast, they provide little to no real benefit. A perfect example is the darkness spell. Literally does nothing but cause a neat cosmetic effect. You have added the ability to see in the dark without the need of torches, and you can just auto lock through the darkness. Functionally does nothing. The fire wall spell does literally nothing useful, as NPCs and players can just walk through one of the three holes in the circle. These ideas are implemented with no common sense. They are just gimmicks. Another example is the globe of Yezud. Super cool item that nobody uses because the AI pathing is broke and the spiders attack you, rather than your enemy. Not to mention you made it so the spiders die in two hits. So, nobody bothers with them. You have so many cool ideas, but you implement them terribly.
This is completely true. I love sorcery. But it just. It feels like you need a group of two or more to allow yourself to truly be a sorcerer, and the final corrupted authority perk isn't good. It should allow you to have a permanent demon.
Dude, WHAT??? Sorcery is so powerful my server has a rule that only 1 player from each side of a war can use sorcery in the war. If you think sorcery is weak, you're using it wrong bro
The only thing I think that could be better with sorcery is the time it takes to cast spells. I think it would be far better to have a second hot wheel for spells vs the current method of casting
The taverns that I have been building myself and enlivening with thespians and sounds are more believable. What Conan Exiles really needs are sounds. Conversations between NPCs, ambient noises in taverns, etc. Fills the game with life! Magic and things like that are completely unimportant. Still, I'm looking forward to the tavern.👍
More than anything all I want is pvp to be better. I miss old roll, legendary weapon/armor kits, the old gods,etc. I feel like Conan solely focuses pve and just Doesn’t care much for pvp. Herbal tea too!
It's going to be great, also I think that river village that was shown looks fantastic, should be placed in world as well so instead of just having sepermaru could have somewhere else to buy stuff 👌

I love this game! But why is there no support for the PS4 community? The game is practically unplayable with all of the glitches and errors and yet I still play. Help!!!
It be nice to have the grey ones great axe on exiled lands our great axes are kinda meh sadly or at least introduce a great axe that's equivalent to the grey ones we can craft void forge armor on exiled lands but anyways definitely excited for the new chapter 🎉 😎

There's more issues with the game than adding new Chapters constantly. The Thralls need to teleport to you, instantly, when you tell them to "return". As of now, they get stuck in the ground, walls, or miles behind you, and will not return to you, causing you to fight 99% of the game alone. Everything else, like your crappy healing system for example, I will fix myself with the Modkit, again, thank you. Please more nerfs too, weapons are still doing damage to the enemies and its still too easy to survive, please cut health down by 50% at least, so we can't surive at all anymore. We also need more nerfs balanced around PVP. Please make the movementspeed slower so we only move at 10% the speed we have now, we need more nerfs that destroy the game, more nerfs please.
Something I think you need to program in is if you or a thrall is using the drunk emote near a camels face they will punch the camel knocking it down for a few seconds then get back up. Or possible even cooler, have Conan himself visit a tavern outside it and just be drunk and punch his own camel. Basically a special placeable that Conan and camel would spawn at. Conan would just stumble in place and every few minutes bump into the camel and punch it. And do NOT pay wall that, that is classic moment in the history of Conan the Barbarian and should be enjoyed by all.
Not enthused about the "Down-But-Not-Out" system. A powerful thrall already trivializes the difficulty of the game. If you don't even have to worry about losing them, what exactly are the stakes?
Be nice we can get boats and boat battles/ wars / building boats / steal boats / maybe a save mode we can move our base or homes without taking it down and starting back over . Have more then 2 followers / where followers can ride horses / we can pull or carry horse carriages / followers can go hunting bring back food / materials/ thralls walk around like normal ppl .

This game is literally unplayable for me on PS5 :( I love this game one of my top 5 I have thousands of hours in the game and tons of money spent in the bazaar and season pass. However after the last year or so its become unplayable. I crash trying to do anything. I freeze loading the bazaar or battle pass. Has the ps4 support been abandoned? Am I able to get the game on PC and have my battle pass or bazaar items carry over? I also have $50 worth of crom coins to spend but cant because I cant even play the game. I truly love the game and wish I could continue to play.

When is the religion system getting updated, like powers/magic, structures/building items, follower and pets etc, bringing your thralls back to life etc..
On xbox all the battle pass armor only shows+ stam no other perks the same with bazaar armor.and I think reading between the lines this new pve event will never come to isle of siptah. At the moment on siptah it will take 100s of hours to do max lvl surge due to the extreme lack of gems to activate it. I spent my hard earned ££ on siptah dlc but you don't show any love for it

I have trouble getting the purge to spawn at any base build. It seems you need a large open area to build in so the purge camp will spawn. Are there plans to fix this soon ?
You need to make sure there is a clear path from the front door to the treasure coffer. No sky bases. An NPC needs a clear path to the treasure coffer. Or else the camp will not spawn.
Wedge pieces for the dungeon set? Will the spiral stairs work with wedge pieces or only square piece like all the other round building pieces released in some of the last few sets? Nothing worth having in the battle pass again. Thanks for saving me some money. Dennis describing the fatalities like Trump doesn't inspire hope in your fan base for their quality or quantity.
All this sounds Great but could you do something about Thralls falling through the mesh, Purge enemies getting stuck inside blocks and becoming unkillable. thralls getting stuck on the environment and unable to attack while they are beat down by the purge. the purge being unable to find you if you have more than one set of steps. Issue with players and thralls being permanently stunned/staggered when being mobbed by a purge.

Love this update! especially with archers not constantly moving backwards, reviving downed Thralls! And spiral stair cases this is awesome! But I would love an elk king mount in the future! :P Really enjoyed the Hyborian Discoveries video as well :)
As coming from pvp servers it is disgusting the amount of people that play in the air and below the map.. anything that gets reported only removes the person from the game for 2-4 weeks and it lets you build back in the mesh spot again… the auto aim lets the game down badly and all the pvp is roll pike roll pike… every player MUST have champion boots and a spear if you want to compete…. It’s as if everytime there is a update the game gets worse
Honestly, the problem is official servers. Most people play in private servers. Number one, cheaters. There is a huge cheater problem and funcom just doesn’t police the official servers enough. Secondly, auto aim and lock on need to be disabled. You can only do this on a private server. The building and land claim spam, not a problem on private servers which are policed better. Most of the issues you have in an official server don’t exist in private servers. Server settings and mods save the day.
Thank God they're finally adding in another way to raid bases besides being able to craft explosives or crafting a hell of a lot of daggers and just punching through someone's door
Silly, but my fave part of the battle passes are usually the animal follower skins. Feels like there's less this one, but I do like the look of them still...
why are you so focused on PVE mode? Most of the players play on PVP servers, but you practically do not develop PVP content, PVP mechanics are still not balanced, for example the game literally FORCES you to level up your agility to level 3, because without it you will be useless in a PVP fight. You should rework the perks in the characteristics, make them more balanced. completing a new dungeon is an adventure for 1 or 2 times, and PVP is an activity that players engage in constantly, you should pay more attention to it Please listen to the PVP community AND PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT CHEATERS, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE on official servers, and technical support is terribly slow with them. And even after a ban, the cheater simply opens a new steam account and continues to play
I started to play during alpha, thought the game was not ready at the time. Ignored it for years, and I came by just to see if it could be enjoyable. I have more than 1.000 hours now, crafted some amazing buildings with lots of props and details and had the best fun with lots of different players. Can't wait for Age of War 3, thank you devs for your great work !!
You guys and girls are so cool and make a great Job with this Game. I love it so and have a lot of Hours ingame. Age to Age and chapter to chapter it feels better. I motivated to play the game for a lang time. Good Work A levelingsystem for Workers/Crafters or Farmingthralls for the future will be nice
I love this game and hope that more updates will come in the near future that will allow you to bring friendly NPCs to life. I prefer to play the game in PVE mode. If the following important options came into the game, it would be even cooler. Pathfinder for NPCs. NPCs should finally open doors and find their way through doorways. NPCs can do a job (farming, etc.). NPCs should generally be able to interact with other NPCs. Being able to carry things from a to b, such as organizing storage. Female human NPCs can have children. You can train your warriors and have a training camp. An extensive trading system. Private beds for NPCs, a family tree. Being able to build underwater. These are just a few of the many things I can think of to make the game better. Unfortunately, this can only be implemented using mods, which is sometimes too complicated. Maybe in the next update we can at least add the option to the game that peaceful NPCs can find their way through closed doors. Even getting them their own keys for their doors would be great. Maybe @Funcom will listen to its fans and implement it. It would be a pleasure for me. Big kiss to the developers at Funcom.
It's nice that you show huge base with tavern on live stream, but you would get banned for claim abuse on PVP server if you have base like that... How are we suppose to build huge bases with all the content you proved if we get banned for building like that?
When are they going to fix all the base game glitches such as getting stuck and cant move in co op and random mounts vanishing. They keep adding but not fixing sad😢

I sure like the new stuff, but there are a lot of existing things and bugs that need to be fixed and things I would love to see get completed. Some are: - a head/ trophy from big white dragons - Silvermine: the giant green glowing temple behind the scorpion queen just lead back to the entrance? C'mon you can do better that that. - there is still a giant black hole with an alpha wall at the west wall of the unnamed city, would be great to deal with that/made into a dungeon. -world events are still causing problems, I like them but they are still unstable. - some pet skin still cause problems with food to increase growing chances / the food don't work on them. These are just some points and problems and some of them are known and out for years. A big bug fix patch in the near future would be great.
@@Winterizes no, I mean big white dragons like the one in the frost tempel and near the secret passage to the vulcano. But now that you mention it, an undead deagon head trophy would be nice too. Let the red dragons keep their firebreath, but give an ice breath to the white dragon, poison breath to the green and corruption breath to undead dragons.
im looking forward to building a tavern and being able to have thralls actually sit instead of just using the sit emotes finally i can get my thralls to sit on bar stools, benches and maybe even chairs
Systems such as tavern are amazing, well done! Thrall roles, day / night routines, and maybe even pathing to go to from job to bed etc are the kind of things that as a PvE player will bring me back to Conan. I've spent hundreds of hours building bases which is such a joy, yet I always hit a wall when it's just static, no matter how cool it looks and then throw in the towel lol

As much as I hate the overpriced Bazaar and Grindy battlepass, I do enjoy the new content the game has been getting and this seems like it'll be an awesome addition! a simple tweak to prices in Bazaar, even a 50% reduction in current prices would probably add more sales, and the battlepass is already being paid for, so why make it grindy, I'd rather focus on the gameplay, even with the admin methods to do the challenges, it still feels like a chore I have to do instead of doing what I want to do in a gameplay session
Agreed. 100%. Whoever does the pass, legit, is a masochist. Bazaar prices are not encouraging me to buy something, as awesome as the polar bear is, just not worth it. Lower the prices a bit and I bet they'd see more revenue. Gotta find the sweet spot.

Like always with Conan and Funcom - everything sounds amazing when they talk about it, but in the end, it's just 3 doors, an easy fight, and useless loot or the now "much smarter archers" just not being able to target the giant in front of them. Thralls are pouring tar or shooting arrows and dealing literally no damage. A bell that looks dong dong and does pff pff instead. Clan emblems that instead of making Banners more customizable make all of them something small on a white background. All new building styles look cool but miss important parts. At least the man, who is only head, chest, and arms is happily juggling on the floor.
Happy to see the new focus on small scale coop play/light role playing. Conan was a surprise coop hit for us, unfortunate that it often gets overlooked by other (worse) games. I do think the whole gportal server rental is at odds with the new live service direction. Instead of coming back every chapter, we opt to wait till the last chapter to return. Stretching it out to 4 chapters, encompassing the whole year, would make each release less impactful. I do think update fatigue is a thing, bc if it’s always only a few months before a new exciting feature, might as well wait perpetually.
Are you just going to keep launching clothes, building on Conan? Why don't you go deeper with the game, it has an audience after all and the Conan universe should take advantage of it more instead of making the game obsolete like you are doing. If it continues like this the Dune: Awakening will flop right from the beginning, after all the previous game is always a reflection of the current management of the game. What makes me sad is that this game was very important to me.
Funcom I would love for you guys to bring out some more sorcery spells. Not asking for nothing outrageous like fireballs and what not I mean we can keep it within the conan lore and but to sit here and be a full-time sorcerer and being half health and stamina other players in npc's having a greater advantage against me just sucks. I would love to see some more offensive spells and defensive spells put into the game for use full time sorcerer player and lovers. Now I can say the sorcery that we are able to use is under basic sorcery so hopefully that means there's at least two more tiers coming and hopefully they don't take too long cuz I'm excited I can't wait and I want more magic please hear me funcom I beg of you give me more magic I seek knowledge and power hope you guys see this
I just run in and climb walls to he boss room, smash the wall behind the stairs, filet the two guards and kill Nemlot. easy 10k gold and musashis blade. excellent content.
after the update the companions can not be put in defense and do not attack, if I have tools in my inventory as a pickaxe or axe or sickle, I can not assign it to my menu to use them, I assign it and it is put and disappears. If I throw something for example a spoiled food instead of throwing that I throw anything but not what I want to get rid of, and several other things. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it does not compose anything. how to fix it? you can't play like this at all

Glad to see the gold being used as overall currency more often etc. Love the direction this going just think everything through carefully before you just jump all over the first idea. Use the rockstar method release things that intertwine with other things you release ie the siege to tavern method getting gold to buy mercenaries to destroy and raid the sieges perfect circle now lets build on that mentality.
F/C please add a better version of battering ram (two tree logs conected with chain to the saddle) that can be mounted on a Horse or Rhino mount. It has better destruction force as well!
I think an economy would add a lot of life to the game and extra uses for gold and silver. I noted a hint in that direction on the livestream, it's exciting.

The Tavern system is so insanely cool! I love building city bases. Anything to make them feel alive is incredible

Wedge pieces for the dungeon set? Will the spiral stairs work with wedge pieces or only square piece like all the other round building pieces released in some of the last few sets? All this sounds Great but could you do something about Thralls falling through the mesh, Purge enemies getting stuck inside blocks and becoming unkillable. thralls getting stuck on the environment and unable to attack while they are beat down by the purge. the purge being unable to find you if you have more than one set of steps. Issue with players and thralls being permanently stunned/staggered when being mobbed by a purge.
Please fix fly bases.
How about fixing problems like sky bases and under mesh bases that are ruining the game 😅

Couldnt be more pointless. Rocknoses havent been useful since treasure got added. Smh

Love this update! especially with archers not constantly moving backwards, reviving downed Thralls! And spiral stair cases this is awesome! But I would love an elk king mount in the future! :P Really enjoyed the Hyborian Discoveries video as well :)
Can someone tell me which armor pieces are those they're wearing?
As coming from pvp servers it is disgusting the amount of people that play in the air and below the map.. anything that gets reported only removes the person from the game for 2-4 weeks and it lets you build back in the mesh spot again… the auto aim lets the game down badly and all the pvp is roll pike roll pike… every player MUST have champion boots and a spear if you want to compete…. It’s as if everytime there is a update the game gets worse
Honestly, the problem is official servers. Most people play in private servers. Number one, cheaters. There is a huge cheater problem and funcom just doesn’t police the official servers enough. Secondly, auto aim and lock on need to be disabled. You can only do this on a private server. The building and land claim spam, not a problem on private servers which are policed better. Most of the issues you have in an official server don’t exist in private servers. Server settings and mods save the day.

why are you so focused on PVE mode? Most of the players play on PVP servers, but you practically do not develop PVP content, PVP mechanics are still not balanced, for example the game literally FORCES you to level up your agility to level 3, because without it you will be useless in a PVP fight. You should rework the perks in the characteristics, make them more balanced.
completing a new dungeon is an adventure for 1 or 2 times, and PVP is an activity that players engage in constantly, you should pay more attention to it
Please listen to the PVP community AND PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT CHEATERS, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE on official servers,
and technical support is terribly slow with them. And even after a ban, the cheater simply opens a new steam account and continues to play
I started to play during alpha, thought the game was not ready at the time. Ignored it for years, and I came by just to see if it could be enjoyable. I have more than 1.000 hours now, crafted some amazing buildings with lots of props and details and had the best fun with lots of different players. Can't wait for Age of War 3, thank you devs for your great work !!

I love it so and have a lot of Hours ingame. Age to Age and chapter to chapter it feels better. I motivated to play the game for a lang time.

I love this game and hope that more updates will come in the near future that will allow you to bring friendly NPCs to life. I prefer to play the game in PVE mode. If the following important options came into the game, it would be even cooler. Pathfinder for NPCs. NPCs should finally open doors and find their way through doorways. NPCs can do a job (farming, etc.). NPCs should generally be able to interact with other NPCs. Being able to carry things from a to b, such as organizing storage. Female human NPCs can have children. You can train your warriors and have a training camp. An extensive trading system. Private beds for NPCs, a family tree. Being able to build underwater. These are just a few of the many things I can think of to make the game better. Unfortunately, this can only be implemented using mods, which is sometimes too complicated. Maybe in the next update we can at least add the option to the game that peaceful NPCs can find their way through closed doors. Even getting them their own keys for their doors would be great. Maybe @Funcom will listen to its fans and implement it. It would be a pleasure for me. Big kiss to the developers at Funcom.
It's nice that you show huge base with tavern on live stream, but you would get banned for claim abuse on PVP server if you have base like that... How are we suppose to build huge bases with all the content you proved if we get banned for building like that?

When are they going to fix all the base game glitches such as getting stuck and cant move in co op and random mounts vanishing. They keep adding but not fixing sad😢

I sure like the new stuff, but there are a lot of existing things and bugs that need to be fixed and things I would love to see get completed.
Some are:
- a head/ trophy from big white dragons
- Silvermine: the giant green glowing temple behind the scorpion queen just lead back to the entrance? C'mon you can do better that that.
- there is still a giant black hole with an alpha wall at the west wall of the unnamed city, would be great to deal with that/made into a dungeon.
-world events are still causing problems, I like them but they are still unstable.
- some pet skin still cause problems with food to increase growing chances / the food don't work on them.
These are just some points and problems and some of them are known and out for years. A big bug fix patch in the near future would be great.
when you say big white dragon, do you mean the Undead one?

But now that you mention it, an undead deagon head trophy would be nice too.
Let the red dragons keep their firebreath, but give an ice breath to the white dragon, poison breath to the green and corruption breath to undead dragons.

Tavern system lookin like an adventurer's guild

im looking forward to building a tavern and being able to have thralls actually sit instead of just using the sit emotes finally i can get my thralls to sit on bar stools, benches and maybe even chairs
I am very excited for the Tavern system.
Systems such as tavern are amazing, well done! Thrall roles, day / night routines, and maybe even pathing to go to from job to bed etc are the kind of things that as a PvE player will bring me back to Conan. I've spent hundreds of hours building bases which is such a joy, yet I always hit a wall when it's just static, no matter how cool it looks and then throw in the towel lol

As much as I hate the overpriced Bazaar and Grindy battlepass, I do enjoy the new content the game has been getting and this seems like it'll be an awesome addition!
a simple tweak to prices in Bazaar, even a 50% reduction in current prices would probably add more sales, and the battlepass is already being paid for, so why make it grindy, I'd rather focus on the gameplay, even with the admin methods to do the challenges, it still feels like a chore I have to do instead of doing what I want to do in a gameplay session

Bazaar prices are not encouraging me to buy something, as awesome as the polar bear is, just not worth it.

Please fix your game instead of bringing so much content before fixing other problems such as meshing into the map… defendable bases from 10 MINUTE GODS!!! Remove lock on aim for pvp servers
Like always with Conan and Funcom - everything sounds amazing when they talk about it, but in the end, it's just 3 doors, an easy fight, and useless loot or the now "much smarter archers" just not being able to target the giant in front of them. Thralls are pouring tar or shooting arrows and dealing literally no damage. A bell that looks dong dong and does pff pff instead. Clan emblems that instead of making Banners more customizable make all of them something small on a white background. All new building styles look cool but miss important parts. At least the man, who is only head, chest, and arms is happily juggling on the floor.
They are garbage DLC. rubbish update. we want more Bosses, we want more NPCs, more places on the map. another boring update
Happy to see the new focus on small scale coop play/light role playing. Conan was a surprise coop hit for us, unfortunate that it often gets overlooked by other (worse) games. I do think the whole gportal server rental is at odds with the new live service direction. Instead of coming back every chapter, we opt to wait till the last chapter to return. Stretching it out to 4 chapters, encompassing the whole year, would make each release less impactful. I do think update fatigue is a thing, bc if it’s always only a few months before a new exciting feature, might as well wait perpetually.
Are you just going to keep launching clothes, building on Conan? Why don't you go deeper with the game, it has an audience after all and the Conan universe should take advantage of it more instead of making the game obsolete like you are doing. If it continues like this the Dune: Awakening will flop right from the beginning, after all the previous game is always a reflection of the current management of the game. What makes me sad is that this game was very important to me.
K here’s the issue. Is there a reason to use all this. After a couple times I feel I will just resort back to the old grind.
Funcom I would love for you guys to bring out some more sorcery spells. Not asking for nothing outrageous like fireballs and what not I mean we can keep it within the conan lore and but to sit here and be a full-time sorcerer and being half health and stamina other players in npc's having a greater advantage against me just sucks. I would love to see some more offensive spells and defensive spells put into the game for use full time sorcerer player and lovers. Now I can say the sorcery that we are able to use is under basic sorcery so hopefully that means there's at least two more tiers coming and hopefully they don't take too long cuz I'm excited I can't wait and I want more magic please hear me funcom I beg of you give me more magic I seek knowledge and power hope you guys see this

I just run in and climb walls to he boss room, smash the wall behind the stairs, filet the two guards and kill Nemlot. easy 10k gold and musashis blade. excellent content.
after the update the companions can not be put in defense and do not attack, if I have tools in my inventory as a pickaxe or axe or sickle, I can not assign it to my menu to use them, I assign it and it is put and disappears. If I throw something for example a spoiled food instead of throwing that I throw anything but not what I want to get rid of, and several other things.
I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it does not compose anything.

Glad to see the gold being used as overall currency more often etc. Love the direction this going just think everything through carefully before you just jump all over the first idea. Use the rockstar method release things that intertwine with other things you release ie the siege to tavern method getting gold to buy mercenaries to destroy and raid the sieges perfect circle now lets build on that mentality.
F/C please add a better version of battering ram (two tree logs conected with chain to the saddle) that can be mounted on a Horse or Rhino mount. It has better destruction force as well!
