    Brent, when I found your channel and your videos covering shaper operations I knew I had found a great resource. Then I realized you would guide and educate me through the process of identifying the correct set of Whitehill combi cutter-heads and profiles to meet my project needs. I just want to thank you for your patience, knowledge and being the consultant, sorting through the details of assembling the Whitehill order. Thank you.

      Hey Chad, thank you for the kind note! It's a bit of a learning curve at first, but once folks see everything the shaper can do for them with good tooling, they're always excited about what's ahead of them. I was happy to help you through that portion of the learning curve! Enjoy.

    Just acquired a used shaper. Great content to get me going! Would definitely like to see details on the coping jig and the feeder used for sticking.

    Appreciate you taking the time to make the videos - and yes the Contermax and Clamping Strip are great jigs to use. Cheers

    You have a great style and are very informative. Keep going you will build an audience as long as you stick with it. There is very little high quality info on spindle moulder techniques out there so your work is high value thank you.

      I really appreciate hearing that, thank you. Do you think people would be interested in a video about outboard fences?

      @@DovetailTimberworks I can only speak for myself. any content on step by step techniques, equipment, features etc around spindle moulding for the small shop would be welcome, given your open and detailed style.

    Just your thoughts? Would an old hd delta with a 3/4 spindle be able to run a block like this? It has a 1 hp in it now but have a 3hp for it.

    • @DovetailTimberworks
      @DovetailTimberworks  2 года назад

      I think with care you would be ok. The block is capable of much more than the machine is so you need to listen to it working and take small bites till you have a feel for it. The opening size in your table might be a limiting factor too.

      Thank you for your response. This machine has a 6 iinch opening so I am going to order one and get at it.

      Would you suggest aluminum or steel cutter blocks and have you have any experience with Amana tools cutter blocks?
