The goat I'm from Dayton Ohio the worst part we grew up off cartoons but db was one of the first anime we ever saw an been hooked too I'm 39 an been watching db since I was 8 we found db on basic TV jus strolling thru the channels an it popped up we watched it everyday Goku was a kid an head buttin everybody we never knew it would grow too be the biggest anime ever

For me, I started Dragon ball on the Nicktoons version of Dragon Ball Kai and then I did my own research on RUclips and stuff. I was watching the uncut version of Chi. I was watching DBZ, GT, OG, Dragon Ball, etc. it was a long story for me

I remember the Nicktoons Broadcast of DBZ Kai when I was 14 years old and I hated because of the bad censorship. Example remember the scene where Frieza got Chopped in Half? In the Kai Version. They completely cut off that scene and I was so mad. In the Cartoon Network Broadcast of DBZ? They removed the blood-spattered to tone down the violence.
Overall: I love the CN Bradcast Dub, Uncut, Uncut Kai, and Japanese Sub. But the Toonzai and Nicktoons Kai? Nope.

Well Sosa. I appricate this tribute and the story on how you got into The Dragon Ball Series?
I myself got into Dragon Ball Z as a toddler thanks to oldschool Toonami Broadcast from 1997 to 2008. I used to watch that with my siblings, cousins, friends, ex-girlfriend, my babysitters and the gymnast girls etc. Dragon Ball Z was my first Anime before I started Pre-School and I still remember in The Friezia Defeated episode of The CN Broadcast. They showed the scene were Friezia got chopped in half but the blood spatered was removed.
DBZ has shapped up my life by inspired me to workout, trainhard, meditate, study hard, chase my goals, get along with people. etc.
Goku is like The Japanese Version of DC Superman.
