- In this video I give you a little tour of the Patatran Village hotel, which is where we were staying on La Digue. What I loved the most was the beautiful beach, which was already featured in previous videos. The Patatran is in my opinion the hotel with the best location on La Digue.

Stunning hotel and wonderful place to stay! It seems like a paradise and you had a good time there. Your video footage and photography from there is of excellent quality.
Thank you. La Digue is really a special place! I have a few more videos from the main Island Mahe in the next weeks. It's a much bigger island but also offers some beautiful beaches
How many days have you been on the Seychelles? Do you have a trip description somewhere? I'm really excited from these videos and jjust thinking about doing a similar trip this summer! ;-)
Tobias Tietsch I had two weeks. You really dont need much of a Description. Make sure to spent at least one week on La Digue and then head to Mahe or Praslin where you'll need a car. I booked through Seyvillas.com

Wir hatten diesmal ein superior wenn ich mich nicht täusche. Hatten aber auch schonmal die Standard Kategorie. Die waren etwas dunkler und superior hat sich schon gelohnt.
Hallo Michael, ich habe eine Frage: Wenn man auf dem Flughafen Seychellen landet (SEZ), wird man dann per Fähre auf zum Hotel gebracht, oder anders? Und wie lange hat bei euch der Weg gedauert?

Hallo Brulaus. Wenn du nach La Digue möchtest, gibt es zwei Optionen:
1) Nach der Landung auf Mahe kannst du mit einer kleineren Maschine weiter nach Praslin fliegen und von dort mit der Fähre weiter nach La Digue. Du brauchst aber Transport zwischen Flughafen auf Praslin und der Fähre. Das haben wir bei unserer ersten Reise nach La Digue gemacht.
2) Nach der Landung auf Mahe, nimmst du ein Taxi oder öffentliches Verkehrsmitten ( ich glaube es gibt einen Bus ) zum Hafen. Von dort gehts mit der Fähre nach La Digue. Die Fähre hält aber auf Praslin und es kann auch passieren, dass du dort nochmal umsteigen musst.
Option 1 spart dir 1 - 2 Stunden, wenn der Flugplan gut passt. Es kann aber auch Wartezeit geben.
Das alles kann man selber organisieren. Ich empfehle aber eine Reise auf die Seychellen mit Seyvillas zu buchen. Die oganisieren alles, du bekommst Voucher für die verschiedenen Transporte und die nötige Information und Hilfe, damit alles flüssig funktioniert. Wir haben das bei unserer zweiten Reise so gebucht und am Ende auch nicht so viel mehr bezahlt, als wenn ich alles einzeln gebucht hätte.

Hey Michael, nicholas video and very helpfull! .,like to ask you if you think is worth the superior rooms or the standards are good enough at Patatran Hotel., and my second question is that i am not sure to spend 7 nights in La Digue and 4 in Praslin or 8 days in La Digue and just 3 in Praslin!., be the way, i had make a reservation with booking but after your link about Sivillas.com i see better prices...so i guess i will cancel my previous and book with them! marcelo pisani hello. So Standard rooms are ok but a bit dark. The superior have more space and I liked them more. They are also a bit elevated. I would go with superior, but if you are on Budget Std is fine. You will spend most of the time at the beach anyway;-)
If you do Praslin I would do four days to explore Anse lazio, valle de Mai and do an excursion to curieuse island.
And yes go with seyvillas and let them organize Transport between the islands. Good price and very convenient

In welchem Format filmst Du eigentlich Deine Aerials und nutzt Du dabei Graufilter oder Polfilter? Finde die Aufnahmen sehr schön!
Hallo Tobias, ich nutze Graufilter damit ich die Shutter-Zeit kontrollieren kann. Ansonsten wird 4K bei 24FPS gefilmt und dann in Davinci Resolve gegraded und ein bischen gezoomt.
Ah, doch kein Adobe Premiere Elements mehr, weil Du da neulich ein Video zur Tonspur gezeigt hast und ich mich fragte, wie Du da mit 4K Videos umgehst. Elements unterstützt nämlich keine Proxy Files. Ist das bei Davinci anders? Schaue ich mir mal an.
Ich mach bald mal ein Video zu Davinci. Ist ein klasse Program und vom Workflow super smooth. Braucht nur ne gute Graka ;-) Was meinst du mit Proxy Files?
Mit sogenannten Proxy Dateien arbeitet man auf einer stark komprimierten Version, auf die referenziert wird, sodass die Filmbearbeitung wesentlich perfomanter ist. Erst bei der Codierung werden die Originalquellen verwendet. Leider ist mit Premiere Elements eine flüssige 4K Bearbeitung nicht möglich. Hi. Do you know how to get to the hotel from Mahe International Airport?
We took the ferry to La Digue and the hotel had someone wait for us at the pier. You also need a Taxi to get to ferry. Use gellwien tours, they organize everything
