    Perfect. I disassembled everything and am just waiting on the hoses and radiator to come in. Super cheap to do by self and this video makes it an easy swap. Thanks. Update: Everything went in just fine. I reused the foam as well. Around 250 dollars for parts from Autozone- thermostat and gasket, radiator, hoses, clamps, cap, 2 gal 50/50 pink coolant.

    • @hyr0llr
      @hyr0llr  3 года назад

      if you do the job on a driveway, you shouldnt lose much. and if possible work on the vehicle after its been sitting for awhile so any residual pressure in the lines go back into the transmission to minimize fluid loss. its normally not alot of fluid if the front is pointing up. yu can buy a small bottle of the corect fluid and just top it off after the job is done.

      im sorry you have to deal with quality issues. Were you able to to warranty them out?. im going to link a radiator from rockauto from the brand Koyorad. In the 240sx world im in people swear by these radiatiors, look into them since the link does say something about reoccuring core leaks. se if this is what is happening to your vehicle. if it is not, then it might just be a quality control issue. let me know how it works out.

    Why does your truck have an electric fan?

      @@travisk5589 the clutch fan(belt driven) which is what you see when i take the lower shroud off is what pulls air through the radiator/condensor. The electric fan is all the way in the front of the condensor pushes are through the condensor when the A/C is on.

      usually for a radiator replacement. its about 1-2 gallons. if you want to save money, 1 50/50mix and 1 gallon of distilled water.
