@brianwhite9339 ? No video is blocked. If you see something that can't be accessed, like in a playlist for example, those videos aren't out yet. They're scheduled to release throughout this upcoming week. They're done ahead of time to get ahead and I'm going through a hurricane alert right now, so getting ahead is the best play.
Congrats on passing the newbie check on Zaeed's mission. So many first time players get confused by the dialog options, confusing themselves and many end up not getting Zaeed's loyalty.
The OG squad is amazing, forever GOATed but the companions introduced in this game are so freaking well written. Romancing certain characters also gives them another great dimension, like Miranda and Jack. ❤❤
Not sure if you're aware but dialogue options on the left can be worth clicking for more info even if it's not under an investigate category. They generally won't end or forward the conversation and leave you with dialogue still available on the right side (99 percent of the time)
Even though Jack might come of as very hostile she has very good reasons for hating cerberus but i also recommend talking with her once & while, she is probably one of my favourite mass effect characters
What took me a long time to realize is that the loyalty missions aren't about earning THEIR loyalty, Shepard already has that, usually by whatever method Cerberus used to buy their contract. It's more about showing your loyalty to the teammate.
Now that you've done Zaeed's loyalty mission I feel it's appropriate to offer some interesting information you wouldn't otherwise learn about it. If you chose to be a monster and let the doc workers die, Zaeed gets his revenge on Vido and his loyalty is guaranteed. There is more interesting secret outcome if you delay his loyalty mission until after the final story mission though. Which is, if you save the workers, when Zaeed becomes trapped at the end of the mission, you get a additional paragon option where Shepard says he's a danger to the crew and society at large, then kills him. It's the only mission I know of that gives you a completely different option when played "post-game" like that.
"Billy" is just one of the many convicts and killers who escaped the prison when you rescued Jack. You don't actually meet him in the game, it's just an e-mail that shows you consequences of your actions. Also I'm sure someone already mentioned it but originally Zaeed and Kasumi were DLC characters.
Your chosen squadmates usually do have input in missions during the game, just not the DLC missions, which were added to the game later and the didn't get the whole cast. That being said, when they added Zaeed and Kasumi to the game, they also added a bunch of dialogue here and there for when they're your squadmates on other missions, so if you choose to bring them in later missions, you won't miss out because of it. Also, small combat tip that I found pretty fun, you can curve powers around corners and over cover enemies are crouched behind by aiming slightly to the side or above a highlighted enemy (the one with the red brackets around them). The power starts in the direction you aim, then curves mid-flight towards the highlighted enemy. Does not work with instant hit abilities like overload though, or with thrown grenades. The missile launcher also does this, but instead of picking the highlighted enemy, it curves towards any nearby enemy it can find.
What you said in minute 11:00 there are different dialogues on side missions as well depending which squad mate bring you with. In fact they even remember some of the conversation and in some cases they continue adding more information and interesting dialogues as well even at this stage but especially in the future.
If he did not know about it, legendary ed got wall bugs, so hugging some rocks or walls can clip you up on the wall or rock and then no way to get down
I am Completely enjoying you play this game. You laughed for like a minute with the conversations. I am impressed the class adept was one of my hardest play though you are making it look easy. I dint get Zaeed loyalty when i saved the people after I just chose all the paragon choices until the kid showed up and made Zaeed happy.
Thing about picking the morally right option, is that Zaeed is morally wrong. That's why I never used him. I didn't agree with his methods so having someone I couldn't trust on my team, watching my back, just wouldn't work for me.
You're going to love Dragon Age Origins for companions throwing in extra comments if they're brought along, always felt like everyone was involved because of party banter
love him reading the renegade dialogues 🤣🤣🤣. There's a planet in a solar system that you can mine for significant amounts of element zero. I forget which one though.
Kazumi and Zaeed are originally DLC characters, so they both feel a little less integrated into the story than the rest of the crew. Don’t remember whether the other companions really comment a lot more, but these two are particularly silent at least..
1:49:33 - lol. Cloaca my dude. A bottom body part of all reptiles and birds, he's basically calling him an ahole. Cause you know, Salarians are amphibians.
I know he's distracted and not notice it, heat of battles, but one of the most signature, burns in my mind, ME2 is great on how enemies suffer with powers inflicted on them. I just realized I brought negative karma to myself, but also know reality vs VR. In the end, I miss reactions of both companions and villains that was missed in ME3 and ME1. And yes I still think ME2 is last of ME series, BUT it is better than other games I've played. ME is my hard core playing to this day (started at 2013, iirc, late to the party). And Ace, don't need to say it, continue what you do. At least you can remember your first time here, Witcher 3 (you need to play 2), and FNV... I have no recording thus here, I think vanguard build was my first, I DO NOT REMEMBER :S Btw, your first meeting with Jack, priceless! *thumbs up to infinity* Needs charm school, but she is awesome when it comes to necessary personality. Just my opinion here.
Meme of the day: Garrus: "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations" I've got a spicier one, but I'm gonna wait for some of the next episodes, cause depending on how you decide to play, it might be a spoiler xD
Spoilers are already affecting your analysis. And since I want to avoid spoiling you further, I'm not gonna be discussing details. But in a more general sense, people are often presenting opinions and preferences as facts.
late too the ep but it's another banger and ofc leaving a comment for the algoritthm, also you said something about wanting the character sto have more dialogue in missions itself, i'm pretty sure they added more dialogue options in the third game about so they did improve on it! Also i basicly went against it and i got his loyalty after that too, and another thing is that the top right options will always paragon and bottom right will always be regenade and the middle will be neutral in litteraly EVERY conv you have edit/ NO you are wrong every little sidequest CAN have an impact in the next game
You don't need the med bay upgrade, it's a waste of resoures. Scan off screen to get your resources as watching that is just another reason to ff. Don't be selfish give your crew the good stuff even when you don't use them
loyalty missions unlock another appearance for that specific character, the extra ones you had from the start are the dlc ones. also without spoiling the loyalty missions they dont just give you a new ability for that character, they are the most important missions of the game even though their stories are technically filler, not doing them is detrimental to your playthrough and there will be consequences. this isnt starfield we're talking about here, in this game choices matter.
Hello, I'm new here. Is that headband thing to hide balding or is it like a fashion choice? No hate I love the journy so far, just see that black headband a lot on other people.
Definitely not balding, it's just a fashion thing. Started wearing it in my content this year. Just feels like brings the creator "image" together if that makes sense lol
A new upload in this this series alwyas gets me so hyped! Congrats on passing the Paragon speech check on Zaeed! Him, Tali's and two involving a discussion between squadmates can be a real challenge if you don't have a good amount, if not most, on either morality bar by the end of the game. Always good to remember: Top right dialogue is Paragon while down right is Renegade. Always investigate and choose the left speech options when possible to extend and develop the conversation. If you have enough points, the left options colored in blue or red are usually the best. This is still the best knowledge for a newcomer, and you have been doing great so far! Oh, and since you're not interested in doing 100% everything, skipping the missions involving the Hammerhead is great for optimizing the playthrough.
11:00 that kind of immersion can be achieved today with AI. I watched some people using AI companions for Skyrim, they can give any respond to any situation, all you need is personality parameters. If they remake this entire series (not remaster) and ad that, every playtrough would be like fresh new experience. Only downside to Skyrim AI is that they are sometimes excessively chatty and aware that they are game characters thus breaking immersion.
Can you please stop being ignorant and NOT cut off the Ambient conversation in the game? Heres the down low on Zaeeds loyalty skill, its a flame grenade, obviously, but it also has a Fire DoT, knockback on initial explosion, good for knocking enemies out of cover, also adds a panic status cos of the fire DoT. Used effective its really powerful, l dont expect anyone to use it that way though. Regarding Tech Armor, ldk your Build preference, but maxing out and choosing Power armor can be costly, depends on your play style, if you stick to cover Power armor iseffective as it increases Power damage by 15%. ASSAULT ARMOR has several hidden bonuses, it doesnt say it on the Skill screen but if you choose Assault Armor, when the armor is destroyed it will set ALL, thats Right ALL sqaud abilities, its a secret skill trait left in the game by the Devs during the design phase. It was supposed to be taken out, by the Sentinel design team left it in, thankifully. Power armor is good for cover fight, Assault armor is GREAT for mobile Sentinel gameplay, thats pretty advanced.
This had the potential to be such cool and meaningful comment, but this type of comment is EXACTLY the type I talk about in *this* video. Obviously if some dialogue gets cut off, it's never usually on purpose, the only time I do it is if I'm redoing something because I reloaded a save or if I thought I heard it before. If it's ambient and say a cutscene cuts it off, it's a freakin accident man. Get off my back, man. And of course it's not on purpose, but you getting on my case about it, especially in such a rude way, is NOT the way to go about this. Again, this is exactly the kinda comment I discuss in this video. This sucks because there was really nice and insightful stuff in the comment, which I appreciate, even if I'm not looking for it. I said this in the video, but I'm not looking for advice, yes, I still accept it and even appreciate it. But I am not looking for it. I like to be as blind as possible EVEN if that means playing worse or missing something. That's how everyone who played this game at release got to play it after all! And I feel I deserve the chance to make mistakes, miss things and play my own way too. I know it sucks when you, who knows the game super well, sees someone new make mistakes or miss something. But man, that's the GREAT part of a first playthrough! It's okay if I don't play optimal, it's okay if I miss ambient conversation, it's okay if I don't know proper effectiveness, because I'm having the time of my life playing this game. Isn't that enough?

@@KingdomAce No offense but why did you block of the two recent videos?

Took a shot for every time @kingdomAce said "okay". I died half way through 😂 respawned and died 5 minutes into hour 2 🤣
Congrats on passing the newbie check on Zaeed's mission. So many first time players get confused by the dialog options, confusing themselves and many end up not getting Zaeed's loyalty.
My man's reaction to firing the Cain was truly how we all felt when we first fired the not-nuke.
41:20 "There's a lot to do Shepard, this keyboard wont type itself."
Shepard leaves the room and she brings tetris screen back up.
The OG squad is amazing, forever GOATed but the companions introduced in this game are so freaking well written. Romancing certain characters also gives them another great dimension, like Miranda and Jack. ❤❤
Zaeed always gave me Jango Fett vibes

She's my favourite romance option
Zaede and kasumi got shafted character wise. The curse of being dlc

Ladies and gentlemen. Always respect the Cain.

Those FENRIS mechs on Jack’s recruitment mission are glitched, they’re supposed to push into the room. However in the MELE edition they never seem to.
Once again... I learned something new. You took a very different approach to the loyalty for Zaeed.
Dragon Age Origins, 2, and Inquisition does the additional companion dialogue like you were talking about
If he did not know about it, legendary ed got wall bugs, so hugging some rocks or walls can clip you up on the wall or rock and then no way to get down
big fan of this series!

Some people prefer Tali or Liara but Jack is my favorite romance in mass effect games.
I'm an all time Liara fan 🥰
Her romance is very sweet. Bro!Shep helps her to open up again.
I feel like Mass Effect is great, and can be hard to spoil because major plot points (mainly character deaths) can vary depending on your playthrough.

lovin this series

17:40 the only thing you really deciding here is between assault rifle damage (renegade) or heavy ammo upgrade ( paragon) or something like that

Why did I start watching this series at Part 5? 😂
You watching any at all means a lot 😌🙏🏾
I think I know why and it starts with "J". Am I right? xD
Shame you didn't spend more time talking with Mordin about the Genophage.
He has some really insightful comments on the topic.
is he lagging/skipping or my chrome that do not like 1440p when i have 460 other tabs open?
36:22 Mining is relaxing, but does not make for great video content. He will regret always choosing the neutral option later.
