I’m a Katakuri player and I tell people this all the time. If you go wide into him it’s GG for the guy. Rush him down and he can’t play big mom without losing the game. If we have 1 -2 life before 10 drop we are in a bad spot.

@tensa1771 true but that's with anything. Pending your color that you run banish and or small bodies like 2 c 4k eat Kat up. Film does well as well if you bypass trying to 7 c and just back to back brook in to ussop or Nami ( best case of course ). I try to tell people keep in mind most of yellows triggers have a cost which can hurt in the long run. They won't want to waste a thunder bolt so if you can drop a a few 2c or 3c then go wide it helps
Kata isn’t as bad as people are saying! I feel like people have been so toxic in chat when I play it on the sim because they see 10 drop momma as “pre-banned” and don’t wanna deal with it. Which is why I think banning can be a slippery slope
I play kidfilm and I just swing to his face, until he drops bigmom and his done cause no don available for counter and have many attackers and re stand kid leader with 12k attack

There’s a few more like Kidd and Magellan. But for the most part yes. Kat is gonna be very oppressive similar to whitebeard
